Your expert guide will meet you at the Pavilion next to the Upper Falls Parking Area at 8AM. This is also the staring point for Uncle Tom's Trail. The hike is a 6-mile loop. The hike is along the Canyon Rim, through the forest out to Ribbon Lake, and then past a geyser basin, Clear Lake, and the Wapiti Meadows with big views of the Hayden Valley. If you hike one trail in Yellowstone this is it!

      Amazing Tour; Exceptional Guide
We LOVED this tour! On the tour we got to see many different geysers - some quiet, some erupting. Thanks to Nak, our knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide, we learned a lot about what makes geysers in general - and several different ones in particular - unique and special. He managed to time our hike perfectly to see some spectacular eruptions and even include the Old Faithful overlook. Overall, we are happy to recommend this tour and this company. I hope you get a chance to do this tour, and are lucky enough to be with a guide as intelligent and kind as Nak!

      Lower Loop Van Tour
Loved our Lower loop day tour with Josh. Knowledgeable, engaging and always with a smile, he made the day fun and interesting. Was also very flexible when Old Faithful erupted 45 minutes earlier than scheduled (unheard of!!!😆) and rolled with it. Stopped for photos of wildlife!! Thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Awesome time in the Upper Geyser Basin
Fantastic time in the Upper Geyser Basin viewing so many of the highlights of the area including Old Faithful and the more awesome Beehive Geyser both during eruptions! Our tour guide, Michael was super knowledgeable and made the tour fun as we worked a route around all the roaming bisons! Such an amazing day. Highly recommend.

One of the must do hike in Yellowstone NP
Excellent hike with Karlie with a "K" Karlie made sure that everyone didn't over do themselves, plenty of breaks and hydration. The scenery was spectacular, and we saw plenty of Bison. Karlie was very informative about the Bisons and other animals we came across. We enjoyed the excursion and Karlie so much, we booked the Yellowstone South Rim of the Grand Canyon also.

      Lower Loop Tour
We enjoyed the tour and the guide was great and very helpful. I would have to recommend having a headset with a speaker for the guide, however. We both are hard of hearing and had to sit in the furthest seat back so we missed a bit of detail, even with hearing aids.

Highly recommend this company and this guide team!!
We had a really fun four hour trip despite bad weather. Our guides were Josh, Emily Jo and Michael. They definitely know how to take care of their customers and did a great job of entertaining and educating us. We saw some really cool birds, including a bald eagle. Highly recommend them and this company! I’d give them six stars if I could!

We had a wonderful time and this was the best way for us to see the best sites in the park. Karlie was very sweet.
We had an amazing time! Karlie was very sweet and knowledgeable. She took the time to get to know us. She was always willing to stop for the photo op when possible. Loved the sandwich/snacks. I would definitely recommend...I would definitely love to come back.

      Wildlife in abundance!
It was an early start to the morning, but well worth getting up early to get to the park and get started seeing the wildlife ! We were happy we booked this tour because it enabled both of us to see what we came to see and to have an experienced guide take us to all the hotspots for wildlife. We saw just about everything we wanted to except for a bear! Our tour guide, Austin, was a great guide. We would highly recommend this tour.

A Yellowstone experience - well worth it
Emily Jo and Josh were awesome guides! They were super knowledgeable and really took care of our group from start to finish. We were immediately offered hot cocoa, tea, coffee and Aussie bites and shown the basics of kayaking. Throughout the tour, Josh had so many cool facts and knew a lot about the wildlife and thermal features of Yellowstone. Emily Jo was super kind and I enjoyed chatting with her. At the end, we were offered lunch with many goodies and a soda/gatorade. The tour was eventful and definitely a workout. I’d recommend this to anyone - families, couples, solo, etc.

      Great Tour, Great Guide
It was a great tour thanks to our guide Dallas. He knows the park really well and was able to find wildlife (lots of bison, bald eagles, a wolf, coyotes). We really enjoyed the overall experience and getting to see the park with a really knowledgeable guide.

      Great Hiking Trip
We had a great time! We saw some wildlife and a lot of beautiful scenery. We had a great lunch that included a delicious sandwich on locally sourced bread and lots of other treats. Our guide found the perfect lunch sight by the river. Karly was a great guide! She was very knowledgeable about Yellowstone and took good care of everyone in the group. Her energy and enthusiasm was contagious! This will always be a great memory for us!

Beautiful scenery and amazing canyon views with the waterfall. Aaron was very informative but the pace was way too slow. He stopped the group every 2-3 min and with the cold weather in the morning it was hard to enjoy with our bodies not being able to warm up. The group were all able bodied and it seemed that everyone would have appreciated moving faster. It was more of a slow walk than a hike. Even so, we did thoroughly enjoy the day and we leaned many interesting facts from Aaron. The bag lunch was very fresh and tasty and was enjoyed at Clear Lake which was a nice, peaceful setting. The mud pots were a very interesting part of the tour. We did not see any wildlife on this tour but it was worthwhile to see the Canyon and Yellowstone Rim.

The Lamar Safari Hike was one of the highlights of our visit to Yellowstone. It was an incredible opportunity to get off the beaten path and get an intimate sense of the area's eco system. Josh was a super guide: very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of the Park and surrounding region and very personable. I also appreciated his laser sharp focus on safety. I highly recommend this trip for those that want to experience the Park in its natural setting.

If you had never been to yellowstone before, like me and my wife, we highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Alex was fun and very knowledgable of Yellowstone history. She made the trip really enjoyable, at a good pace for everyone, and she answered pretty much all the questions our group had. Overall, if you had to choose a hike from all the ones offered, I would hands down pick this one. The price is very reasonable and the 6-mile(ish) round loop gives you breathtaking views of the canyon and the falls. Many thanks to Alex for making our time in Yellowstone so memorable!

Fantastic hike! In a little over 5 miles, we saw the canyon, fumeroles and mudpots, wide open meadows, and small lakes. Our guide, Emily Jo, was so enthusiastic and fun. Many stops along the way to make it easier for less experienced hikers, but sill great hike for those who have hiked a lot. Lots of great information provided along the way, and our group was so friendly too. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone day hike with our guide, Chris. He was extremely knowledgeable and humorous and made the hike enjoyable, especially for my two sons (9 & 11). We learned a decent amount about the geology and the flora and fauna shaping the canyon region. Lunch by Ribbon Lake was gorgeous, well packaged and satisfying. Would recommend the day hikes if you are looking looking to acclimate to the park and gain some insight.

Definitely recommend if you want to escape the crowds and go off trail in Yellowstone. The change in landscape in just a 6 mile hike from canyon to mud pots to forest and meadow was really cool to see. Our guide Kim was very knowledgeable and prepared us for every possible situation which allowed for an enjoyable experience. We did get caught in a thunder storm for a few minutes but our guide was calm the whole time and told us what to do and it ended up being a learning experience. If you enjoy hiking you have to do this hike in Yellowstone it was our favorite thing we did.

What a fantastic time we had on the Yellowstone Canyon Rim hike. Even before the hike began, the support was great. There were a couple parking lots with names that were easily confused with the meeting point. Yellowstone Hiking Guides made sure to give me some added and clear directions to get us to where we needed to be.

Then the guide (Karlie) took it from there and was more than fabulous. She adapted the path and the pace to align with the group allowing everyone to be able to successfully ascend the hills and safely descend on loose ground. This was no small feat when a five and a half mile hike generated 55 floors of elevation gain on my Fitbit. The scenery was fantastic as well. It was a fantastic day.

Additionally, Karlie went far beyond the call of duty. The hike goes into the back-country where bathrooms are not available. During a stop, my wife noticed that she had lost her phone. Immediately Karlie committed to finding it, no matter what it took. She engaged the hikers heading in the opposite direction to have them keep their eyes open for it. We discussed it and figured it was dropped in the woods during a potty break. When the hike was done, she took us directly back to that spot, and sure enough, the phone was found.

The hike was great, the service was great, the route was great, the scenery was great and more. I can recommend them highly enough. This is the company to choose among the many options for the best experience in Yellowstone.

If I could, I would give it no stars. My husband and I booked a tour for 9/18/2021 which was supposed to start at 8:00 am. We got up early as we had to drive from Gardiner, MT and wanted to make sure we weren’t late. There were 7 other people scheduled for the hike and we all met at the designated place. Well, after waiting until 8:30 am with no guide and several calls to the number given to contact them to no avail, we all decided he/she was a no-show. We all went on with our day. We got an email from Trip Advisor the next day saying we would get a refund, which we did, but no apologies, excuses….nothing from them or Yellowstone Hiking Guides. Very disappointed and would never recommend them.
