The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating to us. He took us to our requested places and suggested scenic lookouts and even where we could get some needed items.

Conroy was fantastic and we all had a great time! Highly recommend this tour. We saw so many things all in one day that we would have never been able to do on our own.

We took this tour with the intent of getting a general idea of the geography and culture of Hawaii/Oahu Island. Our expectations were absolutely fulfilled, and our guide, Conroy, was knowledgeable, cordial, and interested in sharing details about everything we were doing or looking at. We will return to Hawaii and definitely hire Custom Island Tours to show us around.

We had a wonderful private tour with Conroy. We left it up to him to show us around Oahu and he certainly delivered! He was polite, informative and had a great sense of humour. We saw things that we never would have seen on our own. You can't go wrong booking a tour with Conroy.

Convoy was our driver. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We all had a great time. We(4 of us) planned a few stops , but with Conroy’s knowledge we did far more outstanding stops than we had planned. Highlights include , hot malasadas, macadamia farm, Tanaka shrimp, Ko hana distillery. As well as the usual highlights, aka diamond head etc.

It was a great time. JP was informative and friendly. Lunch was awesome! The day was full of stops and sites to see. I recommend this trip to others.

We booked an Island Tour and Conroy was our driver and guide. Conroy was brilliant. He contacted us prior to his arrival advising the car he was driving. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable . We had a lovely lunch at the Shrimp stalls and our overall experience was one to remember. We had a 12 year old boy on the trip and he thoroughly enjoyed it as well, at first being sceptical. Conroy did a very good job explaining things around the island and taking us everywhere we wanted to go. He was friendly and a great tour guide. The private tour is pricey, but we chose it because we stayed in Ko 'Olina and most of the cheaper tours would not pick up from there. If you're staying in Waikiki then I would probably go with a cheaper tour. It was very nice to have a tour just for us though, so if you can afford it then go private.

Shawn was an amazing tour guide! He’s extraordinarily well-versed in the history of the islands and of Oahu and is engaging. He is willing to make adjustments to the schedule based on the interest of the person/ people he’s driving around. I really appreciate his humor and his aloha spirit.

JP was our tour guide and did a phenomenal job. We had some amazing views of the ocean, stopped by a blow hole, North Shore, Byodi-In Temple, Macadamia Nut Form. Stopped to eat at Tanak Shrimp which was amazing. Also stopped at the Dole Plantation for a bit but had to leave early because we had to be back at the hotel. JP made sure we were not late but was still able to show us quite a bit of the island. The beaches were absolutely stunning!

Conroy was awesome. Our tour was so full of everything and we stopped at so many fun local spots we would have never known about without him. Top notch!!!!

For our family trip, I decided to book a private tour around the island since my brothers have not been to Oahu and we were celebrating our parents 50th Anniversary. What a treat it was. Conroy, who grew up on the island, was our tour guide so it was great to get the perspective from a local and learn more about the history and fun facts of Oahu. Conroy is also very personable so it felt like a friend was showing us around. He took us to a bunch of spots that I’ve never been to and I have been to the island several times. We were even able to see baby turtles swimming by the beach up in the North Shore! The food places he took us to were awesome as well- Leonard’s food truck for malasadas, Waiāhole poi factory for a taste of their kulolo (sweet poi), Tropical Farms for their macadamia nuts and coffee, Tanaka Kahuku shrimp for lunch, a fresh fruit stand where he treated us to banana lumpia and then finally to the Dole Plantation for Dole whip. Everything we had was delicious. We were so full and happy when he dropped us back to our hotel. Going on this private tour was well worth the money spent. Ask for Conroy! Thank you for making this trip memorable for me and my family.

Our driver JP was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed being able to do the things we were most interested in. We went to a Japanese temple, rum tasting, Dole Plantation, authentic Hawaiian lunch, coffee groves, Ioloni Palace, Diamond Head etc. very nice tour. Worth the money.
