Great trip with Dave as our tour guide! We had six of us in our tour so we had the Dharma Van (mercedes van) and it was comfortable with big windows so we could see out. Dave was very informative, shows you on his ipad the screenshots of various scenes in Lost and a few other movies shot in Hawaii, before getting out of the van to see in person. He was very very personable and entertaining. We did the full island circle tour with waterfall. We all really enjoyed the trip and would recommend to any LOST fans out there! Dave picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel lobby in Waikiki so it was wonderfully convenient!!

Our guide, Dave, had the best stories! He's like a Lost encyclopedia, but better, because he is interested in hearing YOUR thoughts and theories.

Not only is he a Lost super-fan, he actually worked on the Lost set as a stand in, and can be seen on film as an extra! Our tour stops.included the mental hospital, the plane crash site, dharma village, the pier, and various spots where outdoors and jungle scenes were filmed. Dave also has some fun photography tricks where you can get a photo of yourself with Lost characters.

If you are not a Lost fan, the tour is still worthwhile. You'll see some of Oahu's top beauty spots in a comfy car with AC and snacks. The groups are small and the stops don't require much physical activity so you won't stressed out physically or psychologically.Plus, Dave's a cool cat with all kinds of interesting ideas about supernatural sightings, unexplained events and sci-fi mysteries.

His tour was a highlight of our trip.

Overall, this was a nice tour. It was all only Lost locations, but they were cool to see. Other locations were closed due to COVID and I didn’t get to see Jurassic park locations. We stayed in Waikiki and didn’t have a car, so the north tour allowed us to see more of the island. Our tour guide was accommodating with our infant and knew his stuff about Lost (and was an extra in the show). But a couple of times, he made some comments to my husband about characters Shannon and Kate being “eye-candy” and “nice to look at” which made us both pretty uncomfortable.

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to review your 5 hour LOST & Movie North Shore Tour. I will be able to use your comments for some re-training and improve our tours for future guests. I do want to make a couple issues clear however. First, there are no locations on this tour closed due to COVID. All stops that were listed both on our website, Lost Tours Hawaii and this Viator listing were made. The locations where Jurassic and some other movies were made is private property and the only company that drives on that site are tours conducted by those property owners. What we do is to stop close to those locations and we have screen captures of those movie scenes. We point out key terrain features on the land and then show those screen captures so you can see where they were filmed. Not even the property owners do this and our tours are much more detailed than theirs. Secondly, you booked and paid for a small group tour for two people. After booking and paying Viator for this tour, you informed me by email that you were bringing your infant along, plus a car seat. This effectively turns the tour into a private tour with three people as I will not place a baby with anyone else because of the crying. I almost rejected your tour at that point, but decided to help put a young family and provide this extra service for you. You paid for a small group tour for two, but received a private tour for three, actually a pretty good deal. This is truly overwhelming service. Once again, thank you for taking the time to help us improve our tours and enhance future guest satisfaction. Best wishes to you and your family for good health and happiness during these difficult times. Mahalo, Dave Atkins

This was the first tour we did in our 10-day visit to Hawaii.
I was so excited to do this tour and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Greg, was AMAZING! He was actually an extra on the show and the fact he had been in the show made the tour even better.
We were in a comfortable van with only 4 people in total. The small tour was worth the money.
The tour was long and we stopped in so many different places. I took so many pictures.
I probably should have re-watched a bunch of the Lost episodes prior to this tour, but still got an amazing experience.

        WHAT A TOUR.

Dave was an exceptional guide! Not only was this a "Lost" tour, but Dave also had extensive knowledge of other movies/shows that were filmed on the island. If you haven't seen Lost, the tour also consisted of a lot of island history with things like what is native to the island and the old Kings/Queen who used to rule.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see the island of O'ahu and/or is a fan of Lost!

Aloha and thank you for your kind review. Our business is surviving the pandemic and is well positioned for when the "old normal" returns someday. Actually we have been in business and began working the day Hawaii re-opened for tourism. Most tours are private tours to enhance health and safety concerns until the pandemic is over. Now is a great time to visit and take a LOST, Movie and Natural History tour. Possibly not everyone in your party is a LOST or Movie fan, no worries. As we drive around the island we make numerous stops at the most beautiful scenic locations and focus on aspects of Natural History such as plants, birds, animals, geology, formation of the islands, Hawaiian and military history. Waikiki is currently nice and quiet and is more like the paradise that you may have in mind. Please review the state's website SafeTravelsHawaii.gov for information about traveling to Hawaii during the pandemic. For specific questions about our tours feel free to call 808-561-2440. Once again, thank you for your kind review of your tour. I look forward to seeing you again someday and helping you to Get LOST on Oahu. Mahalo, Dave Atkins

Our tour guide Dave was amazing! He knows everything about Lost, sprinkled with some history, botanical and misc movies and shows filmed on the island. This 9 hour tour is worth it for the sights alone. Dave took us to all the good spots. He is witty and very creative with his camera work. Lost fans will not be disappointed. Had great conversations about favorite episodes, characters, etc. The crash site was our favorite spot as we know we were standing in TV history. This tour is a MUST

Aloha and thank you for your kind review. Very glad you enjoyed the tour. Actually both I and our guides enjoy doing these tours as much as our guests. Great scenery, LOST stories and fun people seem to make each tour unique and enjoyable for everyone. Plus a good way to see nearly the entire island in one tour. Thank you for taking our tour and best wishes. Mahalo! Dave Atkins

Overall any LOST fan will be pleased our tour guide was great and really knew his stuff. Had answers to basically every question. The guide had screen shots and figures to help remake scenes and jog your memory which was great. Definitely would recommend, only thing I would have changed is doing the longer tour!

This was an interesting tour.... Lets start with the positive, the tour guide. he was fun knowledable and full of facts. He definitely enjoyed showing us a good time. The guide did his best to personalize the experience. He brought props along to help enhance the pictures taken.

I did the south shore lost experience. The places we visited were of the "B" experience. Meaning kind of cool to see, but were not the "A" sets i expected to see. I got to see the house that Hurley bought for his mom when he won the lottory, the garage that the car he and his dad worked on, the mental health facility where Hurley stayed. these were the most notable locations.

We drove by the conference center that they used for the airport scenes were filmed. we were not able to go in.

I was hoping to see the beach they crashed on or the caves they lived in. sadly locations such as this were not on the tour. The outline of them were not clearly indicated in the discerption of the tours. they were in the north

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to review our tour. All you say is exactly true. There are no true movie or TV show sets anywhere on the island. You see actual places that really exist, such as, the house that Hurley buys for his mother is an actual, privately owned home. You failed to mention the church used in the final episode which is private property, and like the home, we see the outside. You also see some really magnificent scenery on this South Shore Tour, all the sea cliffs on this part of Oahu, such as the location where Jacob's Lighthouse was built, where Calvin is trying to steal Desmond's boat, etc. Most importantly, we use screen captures from movies and LOST to show you what the locations looked like on the shows and compare those locations to what they look like in real life. This brings the tour to life. As a note, I recommend that everyone take our 7AM tours. Traffic is much less and the tour just that much better because of that. I have afternoon tours available because some just cannot get up early enough to take a 7AM tour. And I have made the 7AM tour less expensive to encourage everyone to take that tour, as I think that you will be more satisfied with the morning tours. Once again, thank you for taking the time to review our tour and I hope to see you again on your next visit to Oahu. Mahalo, Dave Atkins

This tour is a MUST DO for Lost fans!! Dave was an amazing tour guide. He was welcoming and patient and answered all of our questions. He knows so many Lost tidbits and interesting facts. We would’ve missed so much of the Island without taking this tour! You see a plethora of quintessential Hawaiian scenery while learning all about one of the best shows ever made!! I can’t say enough about this tour. JUST DO IT!!
