Do not use this tour company to visit Pearl Harbor.
First, the woman who answered the phone when I called about pickup place was flat out snotty. She told me I "kept interrupting" her when I just was confirming the name of of the hotel pickup.
Second, they give you almost no information about your pickup. Not what vehicle to look for, not a type of vehicle being used (this point becomes important), and there is zero identifying signage on the vehicle when it does arrive. It looks like all the other "trolleys".
The vehicle is a double decker open air conveyance. It's Hawaii, that's cool, right? Maybe to tool around town but NOT to go put to Pearl Harbor. It was raining and everyone on the outside was getting soaked and their little ponchos didn't help a bit. Fair enough you can't account for weather but even without the rain, the wind from speed of the bus was miserable. Add to that, the driver kept running into trees and several people on my upper side of the bus got smacked with tree branches.
They bill this tour as including other interesting sights and providing historical context. We barely stopped at the other sites and if there was anything interesting being said, you couldn't hear over the wind.
They provide you zero information on Pearl Harbor once you get there. They give you your tickets, walk you over and then you are supposed to come back to the drop off and take the "bus" back. We took an Uber back to Waikiki as there was no way we were getting back on that vehicle.
We enjoyed the visit to to USS Arizona but it had nothing to do with the services provided by this company. The Pearl Harbor visitor center is run by the US Parks Services and tickets are free. They are released at 8 weeks and the day before or you can take your chances in the same day, stand by line. Do not use this tour company for this!

I have no doubt our tour guide (Pua) is a very nice person, but my parents and I did not pay to be lectured and screamed at and interrogated about Pearl Harbor history as if we were elementary schoolers being drilled for a test. By the time we got off the bus at the Visitors Center, I had a pounding headache and an increased heart rate, and felt extremely insulted. We are on a Hawaiian islands cruise and only have one day in Honolulu. We chose to do the pearl harbor tour because we are all fascinated by history and recognize its importance to the present. This was the only thing my father really wanted to do in Hawaii. We have read extensively about world war 2 and have seen dozens of documentaries. That didn't seem to matter to Pua as she just keeps screaming that we all need to learn history so it doesn't repeat itself (nevermind that several of her facts were actually exaggerated and inaccurate). I'm sure this tour is great if given by a friendly tour guide that doesn't seem to assume we're all a bunch of uneducated ignorant idiots who knew nothing before we stepped foot on her bus.

On the whole a good experience. We were rescheduled due to them not having enough people, which I understand. We rode in the trolly and the wooden bench seats were uncomfortable. Being open air it was difficult to hear the guide. Our guide was very nice and helpful. His narration was not great. I had no interest in what kind of donuts he liked, where he used to live, or what his wife does for a living. When we got to the Arizona he neglected to tell us we did not have reservations and we had to be in the standby line which caused confusion and irritation. Luckily there were so few people there it was not much of a wait. We opted to visit the museums and did not visit the Bowfin due to mobility issues (FYI you had to buy an extra ticket, which was not my understanding on this tour), we also skipped the movie and had barely enough time. The museum exhibits were wonderful and very touching. The Missouri was wonderful. To stand on the very site the war ended was an experience that was both humbling and imactful. All in all a decent tour but could have been better.

This tour was a huge disappointment and a complete waste of money. We were flat out lied to about the Pearl Harbor ferry tickets. As he tour does clearly state, we were notified prior to the tour of Pearl Harbor that we would have to wait in the standby line. I was able to get on line at 3 pm the day prior to our schedule tour and get tickets to the Arizona.
I notified the tour company because I wanted to ensure we would have a ride back to where the shuttle picked us up after our 2 pm visit to the memorial. I was told (via text),
“Unfortunately, you would have to cancel the tour if you got your own tickets and have to find a way on your own. The rangers at Pearl Harbor checks carefully to see who gets off our bus and if they see that you folks got tickets on your own, the company will get fined for this. If you do decide to do the tour with us, you cannot use the tickets that you got on your own.“
This did not sound logical at all so We went ahead and proceeded with the tour to see how the standby process would work. When we arrived at Pearl Harbor, our “tour” consisted of the guide handing us a set for the audio self guided tour and basically being let loose on our own. If we wanted to visit the Arizona we were told we had to get in the standby line. I asked a ranger about what the tour company messaged me and the confirmed this was not the case. I showed them my 2 pm boat passes and the ranger just instructed me to be in line by 1:45.
I felt bad for just about everyone else in our tour that were not able to visit the Arizona.
The ‘city tour’ was also not worth the price. It was basically a narrated tour on the way from Waikiki to Pearl Harbor while we were stuck in traffic for an hour. The Uber ride the previous day from the airport to our hotel was more informative.
The highlight pointed out on this tour included a new FedEx warehouse and construction of a rail system (which our guide made clear she did not approve of - Several times)
There were no stops made for any photo opps at all.
A complete waste of $60 per person. My advise would be to take an Uber and engage in a conversation with the driver. You will get the same if not better tour. You will also save a significant amount of $$ for Mai Tais later.
Show up early to Pearl Harbor if you plan on going the standby route or try to get on line at 3 pm (Hawaii time) the day prior on recreation.gov. The boat passes are only $1
As a Navy veteran I feel it’s a shame so many companies are lined up to exploit such a sacred place.

I recently took the "Pearl Harbor City Tour" offered by "E Noa Tours". This tour provides a nice bus ride that cruises past a lot of Honolulu's major structures and landmarks. If you've never been to Honolulu before, this tour provides a good orientation. Later, you can decide if you want to revisit any of these locations on your own. The tour's grand finale, however, is a visit to the Pearl Harbor Memorial.
A lot of people think that the USS Arizona Memorial and the Pearl Harbor Memorial are one and the same. But the "Pearl Harbor Memorial Historic Sites" includes the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Oklahoma Memorial, the USS Utah Memorial, the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum (including the USS Bowfin), the USS Missouri and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.
While planning my trip, I learned that the entities managing the USS Arizona Memorial were refurbishing the infrastructure that facilitates the ferry boat landings. As a result, the number of tourists who can visit the memorial on a daily basis has been cut in half.
If you want to visit the memorial, you have to go to the National Park Service website and make a reservation. If you don't have a ticket when you arrive, you can take your chances and wait in line on a "stand by" basis.
The point is this: Licensed tour operators who include a visit to the memorial as part of their itinerary have an allotment of passes. I signed up for the Pearl Harbor City Tour so I could visit the memorial. I made a separate trip on my own and spent about 3 hours visiting the other sites within the park.
By the way: I'm used to tours in which there's a driver who drives, and a tour guide who provides commentary. "Finny", our coordinator served as both driver and tour guide. He had a lot of information to share; and he was patient (but firm) with adults who had difficultly following simple instructions. (It's a tough job.)

Humu was a superb tour guide! He had us all laughing throughout the bus ride and bonding with our bus mates. He was also an exceptional resource on everything Hawaii - teaching us about the areas as we were driving through them and hawaiian history. I would highly recommend this tour company for your trip to pearl harbor. They picked up right at the hotel in the morning and brought us back around noon. While at peal harbor you are on your own to explore the free museum and purchase (additional) tickets to enter one of the various ships/submarines. The ferry ride to the monument and admission was included in the initial purchase.

I booked this tour primarily because I wanted to go to the USS Arizona memorial and didn't want to try to get the $1 ticket for the Navy boat out to the memorial. E Noa was one of only a couple tour operators who actually get the ticket for you instead of taking a chance with the standby line. The day before our tour I got an email from E Noa telling me that they were unable to secure the memorial boat ticket and that I would have to wait in the standby line for 1 - 3 hours, but that they would be sure to wait for me to give us a ride back to Waikiki where they pick up/drop off. THey stated that the reason was that the Navy was repairing the docks and had limited the tickets because the number of boat trips were restricted. THIA WAS A LIE!! We ended up cancelling the E Noa tour because at that point I may as well go myself and stand in the standby line, I asked the Navy tour operator about that and they said that nothing had changed for a long time and the boats were all running. I spoke with other people who had gotten tickets from another tour group and they said that their tour group had no problems getting their tickets. I don't know what E Noa's motivation was to lie to me about the tickets, unless they were hoping I would not cancel, and they then didn't have to procure my tickets for me. Anyways, just note that this operator is a SHAM.

For the date of our tour, the boat to the USS Arizona was out of commission, which was a disappointment. But our tour guide Nani said he would make an adjustment that would basically be the next best thing. He said if we didn't get on the bus, we could get a refund but we decided to go forward with it (the company sent the notification ahead of time but we did not get it, due to our vacation activities).
Well, Nani did an excellent job executing the tour all by himself. It was a packed bus, too. He told interesting stories about key events in Hawaii's history, from the days of King Kamehameha to the beginnings of U.S. influence with the rise of the Dole company; and finally how the U.S. secured Pearl Harbor for its forward naval base in the Pacific. He narrated the events leading to the Japanese attack in a way that made it easy to imagine, timing it as we approached the harbor. I imagined the dive bombers in the sky above over 80 years ago. It was better than any movie, being in the actual area where it happened.
I found the museum to be very interesting. It was not very big, but had enough to teach the important aspects of the event. There were actual bombs used by the Japanese, as well as a dive bomber's torpedo and a damaged piece of the Arizona. The actual maps the Japanese used to navigate the harbor were there, too, which I found intriguing. FDRs letter to emperor Hirohito prior to the attack was there, as well.
Overall, I give the tour 5-stars and highly recommend it. Nani is a very effective tour operator, mixing in humor with history, and seriousness/solemness. He's a great story teller, too; honoring the services of important figures of the Pearl Harbor attack such as the late Senator Daniel Inouye.

Is there another pick up besides hotels? We are staying in a house on North shore so wondering what we can do to catch this tour?
Written June 14, 2022
Ask the office where the pickup points are before purchasing tickets.
The tour company bus has a pickup route before the tour starts. When the tour was over, the driver allowed me to disembark anywhere along their drop off route.
When I took the tour, the bus did not pick up from my hotel. Fortunately, one of their pickup points was at hotel only two blocks from where I was staying. I walked over to that other hotel and waited for the bus to arrive.

Hi Julie, sadly no the bus doesn’t have a rest room, but I’m sure that if need be the driver can find a convenience for you… as well a bulk of the day will be at Pearl Harbor, and of course there are facilities there!
I hope you enjoy Pearl Harbor
