Meet your expert instructor in Waikiki at approximately 10:15 am. Begin your course with a visit to the dive shop, where you’ll fill out the necessary paperwork and get fitted with equipment.
Afterward, head to the boat for an instructor-led briefing, which serves to highlight scuba diving basics including how to communicate underwater. Then, it’s off to a nearby dive site.
Start out in shallow water on a line that is connected from the boat to the bottom of the sea. Practice a few of your learned skills and spend some time getting comfortable before heading out on your first unassisted scuba dive.
Follow your instructor on a guided underwater tour around a coral reef, swim in an area known for sea creatures like turtles, octopus and eels. Pop up to switch tanks, then it’s time for another go.
Your tour concludes at your original departure point in Waikiki.
