The tour included dozens of places which was nice. It does need some work though as it sometimes does not recognize that you've moved on from a stop but the app wants to talk through a 5 minute description. Since we started driving before it was done we wound up missing a turn. Great concept but the app just needs to be polished a bit more.

Very interesting and informative. The technology works well once you get the hang of it. The narrator points out many interesting facets of Newport.

Excellent audio tour. Made our trip to Newport RI with our dog so easy and enjoyable. Will definitely do more such tours.

The map doesn’t synch to the GPS on my rental car, so it was difficult. The audio was interesting. The map didn’t always lead us in the right path. I guess I found it difficult to use.

We really liked this driving tour. We did miss a turn once or twice but picked it back up relatively quickly. I definitely recommend doing this on your first day to get your bearings. Well worth it.

We really enjoyed this self guided tour! Once we figured out set up, it was a breeze. So much information was available. It worked just as described. Picked up on our turns and easily. I would definitely do a guided tour from here again.

40mins from Newport, RI as this trip was to visit that area and chose this BW to stay at as it was centrally located between the two cities

We enjoyed the tour. It was a little cumbersome to start, but went fairly smoothly overall. We felt it gave us a good overview of the area in addition to interesting commentary about specific locations. We liked the ability to stop and start on our own schedule & enjoyed the presentation. We enjoyed the drive around the island, but the pauses in commentary might have included more about the history of Newport & RI. Why is it named "Rhode"? Who were the early founders? What was the experience of native Americans, jews, and black people in the early days? Before the big mansions were built what were the important industries?

Tried my first ever car audio tour through Viator for the Newport RI gilded age "cottages." I really enjoyed the narration that shared history and interesting stories not only about the properties, but other notable properties and areas as well. The ease of stopping the audio to walk around a property or tour a mansion was great. I did have some issues with connectivity in one of two places when the audio seemed to skip sections, however overall I really enjoyed it.

So informative. Really enjoyed the speaker. He did a great job explaining all the little details about the homes and families.

The stories and descriptions of the homes were excellent. It's unbelievable what the business magnates of the guided age would spend just to outdo the neighbors.

By using this app, we were able to personalize our tour by going where we wanted, at our own pace, and in the privacy of our own vehicle. The history narration was entertaining and informative. This was an overall pleasant experience that I highly recommend, especially to those of us who don’t enjoy crowds. My only negative about this app is that I didn’t find it sooner. This would have been perfect on my last trip to CA.

We enjoyed the audio tour. It was an excellent way of educating ourselves and learning about the history and area. The audio quality was great and the map interactivity worked well once we figured out the GPS interactivity with the Car Play . A bit quirky at first. Important to go to the first location to start the tour.

The narrator was pleasant, the stories interesting and the fact that we could go at our own pace was great! Not sure I understand why the cost is per person and not per car though…

This was our first time trying a self guided tour. It really covered a lot of area in Newport, RI. There was a good mix of short explanations of spots and then longer ones when we were able to park for a bit. This is a great starter for getting to know a new place but also covers so much in a limited time span. We loved it!
