Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
Trip Advisor calls our tours the "#1 Thing to Do In Buffalo" because our tours blend humor and history. Your guide is Officer O'Connor, an Irish Cop with uniform and full brogue who brings to life the amazing story of Buffalo. You will discover how Buffalo grew from a small frontier village to become the 8th largest city in America. Your guide uses storytelling and humor to reveal the hard scrabble lives of immigrants who came to the city seeking a better life. The start of this event is the interior tour of an abandoned grain silo on the waterfront. You will explore and experience the dangers and mysteries entombed in this massive concrete cathedral to Buffalo's industrial past. The driving portion of the tour covers the city's beautiful waterfront featuring the Outer Harbor. A sense of humor is best for this engaging tour that is filled with laughs and great stories of Buffalo's beautiful, and sometimes notorious, waterfront.

You need to take this tour!
Best tour ever! We had no idea there were so many great stories here in Buffalo! Officer O'Connor was very witty and engaging. We had a smaller tour since it is the end of the season so everyone fit on the top and the weather was beautiful. We came away with a greater appreciation of this great town! The bus was very clean and comfortable, sound system was great, absolutely recommend this for everyone!

      Best Buffalo Tour
Loved the Buffalo tour. I took my sisters from out of town and they enjoyed seeing the sites of Buffalo. We especially liked the tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and most importantly had a great sense of humor. I would strongly recommend this tour to visitors as well as native Buffalonians.

Perfect way to tour the city
Great tour! Loved hearing the history of Buffalo with a little added humor to make for a great afternoon. This is a great way to see the city and learn more about the history from a "local". Would recommend this to all who visit!

Fun tour with great stops. A fun way to see some of what Buffalo has to offer. Enjoyed the shipyard visit, and especially the history of the Sullivan brothers.

      Good tour except...
Entertaining way to show out of town relatives around the city. While I realize this tour is not designed for the visitors bureau, I would prefer a little less negativity about our weather. I spent a weekend building up our city and showing off our beautiful waterfront and architecture only to have it negated by the bad weather jokes.

      Double decker bus tour
The bus portion of the tour was not pleasant due to the poor audio sound quality if you weren’t on the upper deck. The audio was hard to hear over the bus engine noise. Due to my husband twisting his knee that morning we weren’t able to walk to ship tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable from what we could hear and the bus driver was nice.

Informative, dark and some disturbing history. history
My first experience on a Double Decker Bus Tour. We had a great time! I love the tour guide, not only was he well informed about the sites we visited he had a great sense of humor. I never knew any of this history about Buffalo and the area i live in. I definitely will recommend friends and family to go and experience this for themselves, I also plan on going on as many more different tours in the near future.

      Great tour - recommend it
This tour was very good. Of course the highlight of the tour, in my humble opinion, was the tour guide. He was witty and comical throughout the whole tour but also very informative. My only complaint was that it moved a little too fast. It would be awesome if the tour were extended 1 more hour so that you can “explore” more the areas visited including the inside of the ship. Nevertheless i enjoyed the tour immensely. Gave me a new perspective on Buffalo NY. Ps - Parking was reasonably price nearby at 5$ for 12 hours! And The lot is very close to the meeting point of the tour (Liberty Hound Restaurant) Win - win.

We were treated to a walking tour of the grain silos before hopping on the famous Buffalo Double Decker Bus. Our guide, Officer O’Connor fed us a steady stream of obscure historical facts, bizarre legends and improvisational humor. He worked the crowd, using his knowledge of the participants to fashion a meaningful experience nor both native Buffalonians and out of state visitors.

These tours (seven different venues at the present time) are not only incredibly memorable but an excellent value for the money.

We plan to take additional tours in the near future!

From the time we met Officer O’Connor to the end of the tour, it was pure entertainment. From script to improv, Officer O’Connor read the audience. So much to learn in an fun and entertaining way. I highly recommend.

Wow, what an experience! The tour was fun and our tour guide funny! I learned and laughed so much!! But what really made this trip amazing, is that it renewed my faith in humanity! My son ended up not feeling well during the tour, to the point that we decided he has to go to the emergency room. John, our amazing driver, after dropping off everyone, decided to keep us on the bus and drive us to the emergency room himself! His kindness will not be forgotten, this is something that my son and I will remember forever! If I could give this company a 100 stars on this review I would without hesitation!
Please book the tour and tell John and Captain O’Connor that you read my review and I thank them! Make them feel special, because they certainly are and made me and my son feel special as well today!
    Thank you!

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
