It’s a small museum with a tour required. It cost $12. There are some videos to watch which were interesting. The room itself is restored after having other uses over the years. I liked it.

Rich, the tour guide, was brilliant. So informative, passionate and knowledgable. I wish we had if had a photo with him. He was fab!

This is a very interesting spot and you'll learn some history about President McKinley and TR who was inaugurated there after President. McKinley's death.

The site goes well beyond just being the place where TR became president; it puts the era of Gilded Age industrialization, robber barons, immigration, and the rise of Buffalo to national prominence into a more meaningful context. You shall learn something new when you visit.

Well presented story leading up to the assassination of McKinley and the swearing in of Teddy Roosevelt. Great historical background. Our guide was very informative.

The actors do so well at making you feel like you are back in time nd watching it all unfold. This is great for kids and families, and field trips. They also do the ceremony at this location for anyone becoming a US citizen.

Buffalo's presidential history is incredibly rich and this place is a great place to understand. The docents are enthusiastic and fun, there's a lot of interesting interior work and collectibles. However, make sure you make reservations before you go!

This was a great place to learn more about Theodore Roosevelt. Learn how he became the president and what challenges did he have. See where he was sworn in as president. Right now you can take a tour with your family up to 6 people. Make sure call and make a reservation ad you need to at this time.

Very nice museum in downtown Buffalo! The tour guide was very informative & nice. The house is impressive.

This is a great museum... very knowledgeable guided tour with a few "movie" or recorded things to listen to. The mansion is well kept and really beautiful. After the tour, there is the entire upstairs to really explore more. We were fortunate that we were the only two on the tour so we could take as long as we wanted. I recommend it!! Easily spend 2 hours because there is a lot to read in the upper area after the tour.

I have been there a lot -- and the Christmas season is a great time to go -- the entire house is decorated for Christmas. If you go at another time, it's also great. I am from Buffalo and have learned a lot about Buffalo history visiting this mansion over the last ten years. I highly recommend it.

I had little knowledge of how President Teddy Roosevelt was inaugurated but a tour of this house explained all of that in quite interesting detail. This tour was recommended to me from a local friend and it was fascinating. It was a wonderful trip back in time to an important and tragic event in US Presidential history. By all means, walk through this house and take the guided tour. It's well worth the time.

The interactive room prior to the tour was fun and informative. Our guide, Del, did such a wonderful job of taking us back to the time of Teddy Roosevelt's inauguration and the events leading up to it. It was also fun to be "President" for a few minutes. This venue is very well done!
