About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Jonathan D0 contributionsSnowy roadsSadly we had to ask for a refund because snow blocked our route to the pick up location. The communication was always prompt and answered our questions very well. The price was fair. We were treated very fairly. Shame - some day we will go back and rebook the tour.Written March 15, 2025

- Annierobv0 contributionsMagical experience in Antelope Canyon, with swirling red canyon walls and mystical lightThis trip was an all day tour from Sedona with stops to visit Horseshoe Bend, Cameron Trading Post, and The main event, Upper Antelope Canyon. Antelope Canyon was a magical and mystical experience. It was extremely well run by our native guide Mario. He showed us the top sites in the canyon, and expertly helped us get the best spots to photograph for light and drama. It was like walking through a backlit living sculpture. Mario was well organized and managed the group well, we never felt hurried. For the rest of our trip, we were fortunate to have JR as our driver/guide! Although the drive each way was over 3 hours, we were never bored. The landscape was interesting and ever changing, and JR explained the extraordinary changes in topography, and filled the trip with many stories of Sedona and the local area, and our visits to Cameron Trading Post and Horseshoe Bend. Highly recommend this tour.Written February 24, 2025
- Y4858GGamandar0 contributionsA perfect day !This was an amazing day! Visiting the canyon with a Navaho guide who makes sure that your pictures are breathtaking was a lifetime favorite. Horse Shoe Bend was also worth the time. Our guide was informative and entertaining, making the trip interesting as well. The stop at the Trading Post where I purchased beautiful Navaho jewelry was a treat as well. I'd strongly recommend taking a day to have someone else do the driving while in Sedona!Written February 24, 2025
- dawnrZ7391YU0 contributionsStunning 😍We were a bit worried about the 5 hr round trip. But it was so worth it. Antelope Canyon is stunning and magical. Our guide Leland was great. He helped us get some incredible photos. I can not recommend this enough!!Written February 9, 2025

- darrylp8560 contributionsOur Stellar Tour GuideMark Friedman with Great Venture Tours was amazing! I took my friend for his birthday which was today for a 2 hour tour of Sedona. We both enjoyed ourselves because Mark made our tour fun by being 1. Informative, 2. Friendly/easy going and 3. Attentive to all his customers. There was another customer who went alone. He also encouraged us to be interactive which was cool. I highly recommend Great Venture Tours but especially Mark! My friend and I plan on taking more tours with them.Written February 1, 2025

- Sheila72050 contributionsTake the time and do this! This tour is amazing! Long wonderful day. We didn''t want to come out of Antelope Canyon and could have spent way more time there. Weather was perfect and both offered incredible views and experiences.Written January 22, 2025
- joannap2170 contributionsHorseshoe bend and Antelope Canyon Winter 2025Antelope Canyon is a short walk in and through the canyon, and the views were beautiful. You should know that there are quite a few stairs going down from the canyon. It wasn’t hard for us to do them but other couples were out of breath. The guides for the tour were excellent. Brian was very knowledgeable and kept us informed of what to expect every step of the way. For antelope canyon, you will receive a Navajo guide. We had Lionel and he had a dry sense of humor but so funny. He provided the best ways to take photos within the canyon. You can not bring any type of bag into the canyon so you need to carry your phone and water with you. Horseshoe bend is a short walk to the bend and the view is gorgeous. This is a long day so rest up and take the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.Written January 16, 2025

My wife, daughters, and I visited the South Rim of the Grand Canyon with Andrea Corral as our tour guide. The immense size of the canyon is not something you can see in pictures. We also stopped at a pueblo ruins on the way to the canyon. Along the way Andrea shared the right amount of information to us engaged. Definitely a great experience for all of us!

This was our first experience to the Grand Canyon and it was awesome. Our tour guide was Ty. He grew up in this area and you could tell he has a love for the outdoors and loves what he is doing. He was a plethora of knowledge about the canyon from top to bottom and south rim to north rim. He even brought his own telescope and set it up for us to look at the lodge on the north rim. We are not one to take tours, but he changed our mind. If we could always get a tour guide like Ty, we would take more tours. Grand Canyon full day deluxe tour is worth your time and money. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you Ty!

We took this full-day tour from Flagstaff and had a superb experience. Our Tour Guide, Sheldon, made this trip most memorable with his encyclopedic knowledge of the fauna, flora and geologic history of the area (and especially the Grand Canyon!). We were gifted with perfect weather which enhanced the stunning views of the scenery. We entered on Route 64 at the South Entrance and stopped at multiple overlooks before leaving by the Desert View Station to the East. Our lunch at the Maswik Lodge was tasty and copious. In all, we have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

This was a fantastic trip! I would highly recommend this venture and our tour guide Sheldon. He was like and encyclopedia of knowledge! Not only did he know all about everything that we saw but he knew the best viewing places too! Such a nice guy.
Don't try to do this trip on your own. Let someone else do the driving and just experience the wonder of the Grand Canyon!

A BIG thank you to Sheldon, our tour guide extraordinaire, for his expertise and good humour in leading us on a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Sheldon’s inside knowledge meant that we did not waste a minute of this day in a restaurant (we picked up a fantastic custom made sandwich at Basha in Flagstaff) and we even packed in a hike along the rim of the canyon. Excellent planning on Sheldon’s part! Sheldon was good-humoured, knowledgeable, flexible and welcoming - a fantastic guide and a wonderful, wonderful day!

Our tour guide Sheldon was THE Best! From start to finish he was extremely respectful, professional, knowledgeable, comical & entertaining, and so accommodating as well as privy to lots of hidden gems. He clearly LOVES what he does! We had all arrived in Flagstaff from all over the USA for a family wedding. Grand Canyon was on our bucket list and Sheldon delivered an incredibly exceptional and memorable experience for each and every one of us! 5+ stars

Our guide, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable and brought the stories of the history of the canyon to life. Glorious views and numerous interesting stops. Chris took time to be sure that couples had picture memories with both of them in the photographs. Water was available to keep us hydrated which were followed by adequate comfort stops. A full lunch was delicious.

This was our first visit to the Grand Canyon and it was amazing! Our tour guide was Steve ("STEVEEB"), and he is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas. He kept us informed and entertained as he took us to each viewing area along the canyon rim. We were also introduced to "Ricky and Lucy", a couple of locally popular ravens. Steve made sure that a young boy in the group got the opportunity to get credit toward his Junior Ranger program with the USDA Forest Service. We certainly enjoyed the deluxe tour and our time with Steve!
