About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- jimmW3644UE0 contributionsVery much enjoyed the tour.Good tour of Sedona with detailed historical information. Our guide, Mark Friedman, did a very good job in answering questions about the area.Written February 6, 2025
- Y214DYemilym0 contributionsSunset TourWe loved our tour guide, Brad! He really enhanced the experience by providing us with history about the area. Everything was smooth and Brad knew all the best places to go at the Grand Canyon and the best spot to see the sunset. Brad was so helpful and always offered to take pictures so we could both be in the picture.Written January 3, 2025
- Jacqueline G0 contributionsGreat TourOur tour guide Brad was great! Very knowledgeable of local history and hidden gem viewing spots. Ample time was given at souvenir shops and viewing locations.Written December 29, 2024
- pennya6740 contributionsDisappointed customer. The tour guide, Smokey, did a fine job at the destinations, ensuring we had the best photo ops at each site. He offered to take our pictures for us as well. We made several stops to view a variety of sites on the way to the Grand Canyon. It was often difficult to hear and understand what was being shared by Smokey during the drive. It didn't appear the speaker system was working regularly or that he was connected to it. Smokey was a nice man but did not appear terribly organized and ready for our tour. I would have appreciated a lot more time at the Grand Canyon itself than all the time we spent stopping along the way to get there. Lunch at the Cameron Trading Post was good. Nothing spectacular but fine. We always felt the time at each stop could have been a bit longer and more relaxed or a reduction in the number of stops to allow for more time at each stop. Especially the Grand Canyon. Stopping for coffee shortly after getting into the van was totally unnecessary and a waste of 30 minutes of our tour time. Disappointed with the cost for the service received.Written October 4, 2024
- 930rickv0 contributionsWell worth the moneyFinally, I, the designated family chaufer, can relax and see the sites witout worry about driving off the cliff. Our driverf, Mark, was entertaining, friendly, a good driver. Many points of interest visited in air conditioned comfort.Written September 29, 2024

- markmd12120 contributionsThe vortex of SedonaThis is a great trip from Flagstaff. It is nice to have someone else do the driving so you can snap the 500 pics! LOL! Guide knew the history and geology of the area. The area is as beautiful as you have heard about.Written May 23, 2024
- fultont20240 contributionsExcellent experience!Andrea was the perfect tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and surrounding area, extremely helpful! We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Canyon because of Andrea.Written May 9, 2024
- Laura N0 contributionsStunning Grand Canyon tourThis tour is amazing!! We saw things we had no idea are in Arizona!! I highly recommend Sheldon as the tour guide. He knows so much about the history of everything we saw and was also funny and kind. The drive through Oak Creek Canyon at Sedona is beautiful! Then the lava fields are such a surprise! You can take a short hike through the lava. Next is the Pueblo Indian ruins, which are so interesting to see and learn about their way of life. Then a delicious lunch provided by the Cameron Trading Post in the Navajo nation. And that’s just the morning! We enter red the east gate of the Grand Canyon to avoid the crowds. The views are STUNNING! We had four stops with amazing views, and Sheldon knew of short trails to take us to more private viewing spots. Last stop was Grand Canyon Village. It was much busier there than anywhere we’d been all day. After exploring there, we headed back. I’d take this tour again tomorrow if I could! So well organized and informative. We could have never done this on our own!Written April 30, 2024

- mercyb4540 contributionsGreat guide for a great day tripWe expected the trip to be a long one, and we were not disappointed on that score. However, our guide,JR, made it very educational with his knowledge/experience that he was generous with, along with his sense of humor, wit, patience and compassion. My grandson took I'll just before the tour started and JR was very kind and understanding. Thank you, JR.Written October 4, 2023

Our guide, Steve a/k/a "Steveebe" was awesome! He is a walking, talking search engine! He knew facts about our home states that we didn't even know but were too embarrassed to let him know that! I've never met anyone who could give you interesting facts on just about everything and every place. He took us to the most scenic views along the Grand Canyon, provided us with his knowledge and entertained us all at once. He introduced us to Ricky and Lucy, the Ravens couple who frequent a particular spot on the Canyon. After an exhilarating day, and just when we thought it was over, Steve spotted about 4 large Elk feeding near the road. We had told him how we had been trying to get pictures of them but had only seen them at night. Steve turned the tour van around and parked so we could take pictures of the Elk. I don't think he knows how much that meant to us! This was the Yeager Sisters Trip 2020. Going to be tough to beat this one!

My son doesn’t really like traditional birthday parties as he’s on the spectrum and gets overstimulated so we tend to take him on trips to remember, this year we chose the Grand Canyon and this tour. It was incredible, our tour guide was friendly, informative, and flexible. The helicopter flight is something my son and his father will never forget.

Best tour we ever went on. The guide “Chris” was awesome, an expert guide who made the trip. The helicopter ride is a once in a lifetime must due tour. Breathtaking view worth every penny. Great for all ages, don’t miss this one.

This is my first bad review on Trip Advisor EVER. After we travel I love to take a moment to highlight my favorite part of a trip. This was such a disappointment that I feel obliged to share. We drove ourselves to the Grand Canyon and as we drove in made the stops along the way, I had reserved a trip for my family of the South Rim. The description of the trip stated that it brought you places that you could not otherwise go. That sounded worth the trip. While driving along the rim ourselves with everyone else, we saw these people in trucks being brought along the same stops you can take yourself. When I called to confirm our trip for the next day I verified that in fact we were going different places. They said - no the trip is along the same road that you can drive. They don't do anything else. Given that time is always the most precious commodity on any trip we told them we would like to cancel. They said fine - but no refund. I tried to explain that their website is misleading as to what the trip is. They were rude. When I got back I tried to have a more civil discussion, but they refused to speak with me.
I HAVE NEVER WANTED THE NEGATIVE ENERGY OF A BAD REVIEW, BUT I WANT TO HELP OTHERS AVOID THESE PEOPLE.

As an organization we always appreciate feedback as we are always striving to improve as a company, especially in customer service.
You choose to tour the Grand Canyon on your own and wanted to cancel your reservation less than 24 hours prior to your tour date. You did not tour with us, therefore, you do not know what your tour experience would have been. In general, it is our hope that clients get more out of a tour with the expertise of a guide (history, science, anecdotes, etc.) rather than visiting the sites independently.
You also did not purchase your tour through our company directly, you purchased your tickets through a third party discount ticket provider and is who you would have discussed your refund and or cancellations policies. It is also our understanding that the third party ticket provider offered you a 50% refund.
We hope that if you are ever in the area in the future, you give us the opportunity to provide the service for which we are known.

Is this tour available in the winter (February), and is that a good time to visit ? I understand it can be cold. Is the helicopter upgrade available then ? My wife walks with a cane. Are walking distances such that it would be hard to stay with group ?
Written August 25, 2018
It would be better to go in May as weather is a factor on good picture taking. I don’t think slow walking with a cane will be a problem. The staff are attuned to folks with physical limitations, just let them know ahead of time. Hope your experience is as awesome as our last trip.
