Terrible - NO SHOW!
Oct 2020 • Couples
Booked and confirmed our tour online. Signed all necessary documents and waivers. Confirmed that we would be picked up at our hotel. Company did not show and unable to reach by phone. Left multiple messages and emails with no return communication.

No experience because they were a NO SHOW!
Sep 2020
Don't do it! I booked this tour for me and my husband. Confirmed it, signed all the COVID documents and confirmed our hotel, date and pick up time. We were outside waiting 15 minutes prior to our pick up time and waited an hour and 15 minutes. They were a NO SHOW! i called four times and received a recording "please leave a message as your call is very important to us". Needless to say I never received a call. Luckily, Santa Fe is a very walkable city and my husband and I went off on our own and found other things to do. We have yet to receive a call back. My recommendation, DO NOT use this company.

14-person Mother/Daughter trip
Feb 2020
I live in Albuquerque and went to college in California. For our my 6 college roommates and I planned a mother/daughter trip in Santa Fe for the weekend. I knew I wanted to show them the beauty of our state, and let them try some of our incredible local wines. This was the PERFECT venue! Cindy was the best host. Picked us up from our hotel in our private bus, and drove us to 3 wineries. At the first winery she made a beautiful charcuterie set up for us -- it was like a whole meal! At the final winery she made a whole dinner for us -- salads, pastas, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and more. It was incredible. The whole experience lasted about 7 hours, so it is definitely an all-day activity. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great tour!
Dec 2019
A good friend and I celebrated our birthdays with the Northern New Mexico Wine Tour. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on this particular day (close to Christmas). Cindy is both knowledgeable and lots of fun! The wineries we visited were great with hosts who could answer all our questions. We took the RailRunner both to and from Santa Fe and Cindy was there to pick us up and deliver us with plenty of time to space. The snacks and lunch.....with wine we purchased after our tastings.......were great!

Terrific day with Cindy. So knowledgeable about the area and its history. Tasted some hidden gems today! Great recommendations for fishing next year as well. So much fun! Can't wait to take friends.

Thank you! It's all about having fun, nothing like good wine and good food to make anyone a happy camper. And I do love to see that everyone one has such nice things to say about our wine here and their tour. I would really find it mind boggling that you didn't have a good time quite honestly. Can't wait to see you on your next visit. Cheers to all

A fantastic time!
Oct 2019
Great fun. Good wines. Good food. A really fun knowledgeable driver/host.
We even had great fun singing to karaoke at the last stop (I generally hate karaoke).

But it can get a bit pricey with the cost of a few bottles of wine (optional).
To be clear the tour itself is a fair value.

There is a wide variety of exceptional wines! Some thing for every pallet. In the end you are there because you like wine and you are going to buy a bottle or two (or more). As with most small wineries there are many unique offerings, but they can be pricey in comparison to the big name wineries. Depending on if/how many and which wines you buy it can add up. Especially when we favor the more expensive ones :).

Thank you so much, always a pleasure when there are fun, appreciative guests on our Join In Wine Tours put together specifically for wine tasting. Two of our wineries we visit have awesome local NM craft beer and hard ciders to taste as well as the many wines each winery offers for tasting. As in ALL small bouquet wineries across the country even the large mass producing wineries the cost of wine obviously when visiting their winery will be a little more than buying at one of the commercial wine outlets that have limited choices of wines that the winery makes & that also put a lot of preservatives in the wines for shelf life. Our wineries DO NOT. You are NOT FORCED to buy wine by any means! Going on a wine tasting tour is designed so guests can try different varietals and blends that they have never tried before along with safe transportation and supplied with plenty of food and bottled water.

Brilliant day out!
May 2019
We had a great day on our wine tour with a fab group of people, even with the unseasonably cool weather for May in New Mexico visiting Black Mesa, Vivac, and La Chiripada wineries.

We had ample time to sample a wide range of wines at each vineyard and the last two stops we had extra time to then enjoy a glass or two of our favourites, the first with lunch and then as our final farewell drink before hopping back on the bus to a little gift from Cindy.

Cindy can cook and she even laid out a fresh platter of cheese, fruit and nibbles at the first winery for us to enjoy with the wine which was amply, never mind the amazing, delicious, ginormous lunch which she had prepared fresh for us to enjoy.

My only negative comment would be that I would have liked a little more information at each winery about the history, their techniques and so on, the visits to the wineries I felt were heavily angled towards selling rather learning. This isn’t the tours fault but it would be nice to gain a little more knowledge about the New Mexico Wine.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review of your Join In Wine Tour. Sure do appreciate your business and hope to see you again on your next visit. Visiting New Mexico in May - If you are not familiar with Northern New Mexico then you would not know that we are at 7,000 Ft. It snows here, we have many ski resorts that surround the Northern area. We usually get our last snow storm the second or even third week of May. And also the whole world is experience unusually weather, as we all know. Briefly touching base on your negative comment about your wine tasting experience in the tasting rooms at the wineries. Please understand, even if the tasting rooms are extremely busy, the servers do their very best making sure you are attended to. If you do another wine tasting tour please do not hesitate to ask questions about the wine you are tasting, I personally have witnessed our servers go over and beyond in answering any questions guests might have and are very educated. On every tour including this one, the group was told about the history of each and every winery before entrance and the history of our wine industry of New Mexico. Some times if there is a lot of talking among the group it might be hard to pay attention and might miss all the wonderful information that your guide had to offer while driving to the wineries and when out side the bus Cheers!

Fourth time and counting.
Sep 2019
Today we experienced the New Mexico Wine Tour for the fourth time. We visited three wineries and as an added bonus, our amazing guide, Cindy, took us to a quaint trading post. Cindy provided us with healthy snacks and a terrific lunch. Our fellow travelers were a pleasure to spend time with. We hope to return to Santa Fe next year and fully intend to accompany Cindy for a fifth time.
