      It was wonderful!
Our guide Peter was wonderful. Funny and educational. We learned so much and he made it so enjoyable. We did the progressive lunch and the serving sizes and variety were excellent. I highly recommend it!

      Good food and good company
We had a wonderful time with our guide Peter. The food we had was delicious, and we enjoyed trying all of the different restaurants. The service at each restaurant was fabulous. Our guide also facilitated the tour so that we all mingled and got to know our fellow tour guests. I would do it again!

      Over Priced and Disappointing
New Mexico Flavors Food Tour of Santa Fe Plaza: It’s our first visit to Santa Fe and as a treat I bought tickets for our party of 4. It’s become a tradition to take a food tour at every new destination. Jose was our tour guide. He said at the end of the tour he wants feedback to help him make his tour the best in the world. I’m afraid to say he has to make a lot of changes. I have been on numerous food tours in a number of countries and this was the most expensive and by far the worst. Below are suggestions that will help in my opinion. 1. At the start of the tour ask each party where they are from and look interested. Don’t say ‘I’m not going to ask who you are and where you are from, you can get to know each other as we go during the tour.’ 2. Slow down when you are sharing history and local knowledge. You spoke so fast that you gave the impression it was a rush. 3. Make it a 2 way conversation, interact with people, ask them a question. Instead of delivering your well practised speech and saying ‘Questions?’ and not waiting for any before you walk off. 4. Add a bit of humour, everyone likes to hear a funny joke or antidote. It breaks the ice. 5. Keep the group size to no more than 10. If there’s more you’ll lose people at the speed you walked through the streets. 6. Add a couple more food samples to the tour. I was very disappointed with the selection of food we received. A taco An enchilada A child’s portion beef stew, this bland dish was served to everyone after being promised a green chile burger! 4 small bites of chocolate 7. Introduce us to the chef and explain more about how it’s prepared. 8. The food is what everyone wants to experience. There is no need for 3 full size alcoholic drinks before 1pm. In summary. Jose is extremely knowledgeable but most people book a food tour to sample food first and hear a bit of history about food trends in the area. Jose also promoted an online store selling Chile and sent us all a link after the tour. I would prefer a recommendation of a local store to visit while we are here.

Less of a food tour and more of a political lecture
Well, my partner and I have enjoyed food tours all over the world. It’s our “go to” activity whenever we visit a new place. This is the most expensive one we’ve ever done and probably the least foody food tour that we’ve done. Our tour guide Jose had a lot to talk about - most of it was an agitated history lesson delivered with a memorised speech that took the listener to a polarising view about New Mexico. As a U.K. visitor to Santa Fe, I was hoping to hear about the food heritage of the town and find some interesting and historical facts at the same time. We went to the same building twice , via a different entrance to keep things interesting I presume, and ate food from chain restaurants. Taco and Margaritas to start things off - nice enough but average at best Then a different kind of taco with another margarita accompanied by a lecture about politics and a rant about chile. Then to Boxcar - the sports bar, for a bowl of stew, a pint of lager and to watch our guide give another prize winning speech. A quick Look round the back of a church to see some bricks , 4 bits of chocolate in a shop, another politically motivated monologue and then it was over. All I learned is that the building with different entrances has some average food places , that a discussion about red or green chile is as foody as this tour gets and that Jose has some anger issues that manifest into 10 minute dramatic rants. I wouldn’t recommend this tour unless you have an appetite for politics and not for great food.

Good tour, but not for everyone
Interesting tour, but one issue to keep in mind. If you are a person who does not like spicy food, do not believe the guide when he tells you something is not spicy. Our guide admitted liking very hot food, and my wife can't handle that stuff. It turned out to largely be too hot for her, so she didn't enjoy the tour as much as she could have. Keep that in mind if you take this tour.

One of the best food tours I've ever been on!
We did the New Mexican Flavors Tour Of Santa Fe Plaza. I've been on dozens of food tours, and this by far was the BEST! Jose was such an awesome guide - funny and friendly. His knowledge of SF went above and beyond what we had expected. Delicious food and great vibes all around. Can't wait to try another one of their tours when we come back to visit!

      Food, Wine and History
This was a fabulous tour! The restaurants and wine pairings were terrific! We also enjoyed our tour guide, Jose! We learned more than we had known about the history of Santa Fe from the settlements of the various indigenous tribes, the Spanish rule, the Mexican rule, and NM as a US territory and state. We also learned about the history and architecture of various historic building and churches near the Plaza area. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

      Excellent Food Tour!
When we travel we always like to register for a walking food tour of some type and this Taste of Santa Fe Wine and Dine Lunch was most enjoyable! Peter was an excellent guide—very knowledgeable about the Santa Fe food scene and Santa Fe and New Mexico history. Highly recommended.

      Come hungry.... enjoy the feast
What a lovely walking tour ! Our guide, Jose was engaging and truly delighted to share his perspective and knowledge of the traditional food/chile of NM. We enjoyed 3 different restaurant offerings including beverages. So, come hungry. There are so many restaurant choices in Santa Fe, so it's nice to try the fool from several - especially when you can't get a reservation at one of the "most popular." Now we have places to re-visit !

Our ladies birthday group was overwhelmed with the absolutely amazing Progressive Dinner experience that Nick provided us! All of the restaurants ( La Casa Sena, Santacafe, and Ostería d'Assisi) provided a "to die for food experience" along with wine and Prosecco pairings . We were able to meet and talk with the great chef's at each of the locations. We all had such a enjoyable delicous evening! Thank you, Nick!

Would rate a 4.5 due to the 3rd course, dessert. Peter was a fantastic guide! Full of energy and knowledge about Santa Fe. Very inclusive of all guests and their preferences. Made recommendations for the area outside of the food tour. First and second courses were great. Would have like additional information about the wine - none given at any of the restaurants until asked. Really enjoyed the time the chef spent with us at the first restaurant. The 3rd course, dessert, was disappointing. Gelato and Ruffino Prosecco did not live up to the quality of the first and second courses. But overall would highly recommend as an overview to the Santa Fe restaurant scene.

We were in Santa Fe for a company retreat, and we were looking for something fun to do together that would allow us to take in some of the sights, sounds, and cuisine of the city. This tour was just what we were looking for. Our guide Peter was fantastic. Super knowledgeable and tons of fun. We would highly recommend this tour and progressive dinner. You won't be disappointed.
