One of the best ghost tours!
I have done a lot of ghost tours around the US and even abroad, and this is one of the very best I have been on! It was a good mix of history, humor, and theatrics, and because it is on the "ghost bus," it covered an impressive amount of ground. Our hostess, Lady Lex, was terrific. She had the perfect mix of whimsy and seriousness (and she gave a Cure shout out, so of course I loved her!). We went from place to place with the expert driving of Cindy, and Lady Lex kept things interesting as we moved along, making you almost forget you were being transported around the city. The stops along the tour were all interesting, and she gave us a great picture of the haunted background of San Antonio. Of course, in a city with so much history, you can't cover everything, but it packed in a lot still!

    Engaging and fun evening
Historical, but fun. We went to several locations, so it kept everyone engaged. Dark Alley and Cindy did a great job, by adding some humor to their historical knowledge.

    All around good people.
Lili in the Sisters Grim store was great. Sean (guide) and Robert (driver) were awesome. It was a cold night but they did their best to make it great. Good memories.

It was cool. Learned a little bit about the history of San Antonio and its various ghosts. Lady Lex was very entertaining and played her part well. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting with teens and older.

Great way to spend an evening!
Lee and Flip were great. Lee was a great storyteller and had some really cool photos that he showed off to the group. Flip was a great driver and chipped in during the storytelling on the bus. The cemetery was the best stop, packed with history and intrigue. My 14-year-old son and I really enjoyed the tour.

    Terrifically Fun Bus Ghost Tour
Great tour! Revenant Lee was resplendent in his costumed attire! He has the perfect voice for leading a ghost tour. He's full of interesting stories and had some great pictures to show us on his tablet. And I liked the fact he showed us more details about some of the stories and places via a video screen presentation on the bus. Despite the unpleasant weather, it was a great tour. I appreciated the fact that we got to see places all around the city since we traveled by bus. Robert, the bus driver, was friendly and a truly amazing driver being able to maneuver the bus through some really tight spots. We highly recommend this bus tour!

    Best Ghost Tour Ever
My husband and I went the evening before Thanksgiving. We both loved the tour. Lee, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of humor and scare. This is the absolute best ghost tour we have ever been on. It is now on our must do when we go to San Antonio. Also, check out the awesome gift shop.

Ghost Tour & Dark History of San Antonio; will you be as lucky as we were?
From start to finish the experience was amazing! Lady Lex, our tour guide was phenomenal!! The dark history of San Antonio is so very intriguing and I had no idea what I was in for. To say the least I was more than ecstatic with this tour. AND yes…I was actually lucky enough to capture a photo of not one, but two entities on this trip. Only two of us were this lucky, and we checked and rechecked everyone in the group to make sure nobody matched the images we captured along with no standees in the backyard! Thank you Sister’s Grimm for an amazing experience, I look forward to visiting again when I’m back in San Antonio!

    A Haunting Experience
The Guide was amazing . The interaction between the guide and the bus driver was very entertaining. Both were very knowledgeable both about the history of each location we visited and paranormal history as well. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. We learned a lot of history, that even family who are from the area were not aware of. I would recommend this tour whole heartedly.

Our Tour Guide Lee Revenant was really awesome! The Macabre stories he told and in the voice he used
This was a really awesome and spooky Ghost tour and well worth the money .Lee Revenant was our tour guide and he had an intriguing personal story as well as a very clear speaking voice which he used to great advantage to project the macabre nature of the ghost stories surrounding The Alamo and surrounding historical sites. His knowledge of times places and events where in depth and detailed. It was almost as if we where watching a movie documentary as Lee spun the grim tales and fates of some of the former unfortunate and often heroic early citizens of San Antonio. The Sisters Grimm tour shop is something to behold as well. They have awesome assortment of souvenirs, jewelry and other memorabilia to choose from. The tour itself is nearly 2 hours long as they walk you to the various historic buildings in the downtown area and give stories and accounts of their history. I found it exciting and Intriguing. It is probably not best for young children. But teenagers to adults with interest or knowledge in the paranormal will likely enjoy it as much as we did.

We did three ghost/history tours over a period of two nights and this one was definitely the best. Mark was an excellent tour guide (except for the occasional silly joke :-) ) and took the time to explain both the history of each location and also the ghost story of each place - he also seemed to really enjoy doing the tour. It helped that he had a portable speaker which made it easy to hear him even a few feet away. This tour covers a lot of places and we would definitely recommend it.

We went on the evening walking tour because the bus tour was full. Our tour guide, Yukon Sean, was extremely knowledgeable and quite witty. He really threw himself into the role with expressive storytelling and subtle theatrics. It felt like we were on a movie set. Onlookers were intrigued and likely enticed to join the next tour as soon as possible. Sean engaged us with his ghostly tales as we walked from site to site. But the best was yet to come. In a seemingly made-to-order finale, as the tour ended, our group was caught in a torrential downpour replete with thunder, lightning, and big winds that whipped cafe umbrellas from their stands. Going above and beyond, Sean called Sisters Grimm and secured a bus to rescue us, thereby adding another facet to our spooky adventure. It was a great tour made even better by a kind gentleman.

With a few haunted tours in various cities under my belt, I have to say the experience rides on the ability of your guide to tell a good story. Our guides, one experienced and one obviously on a trial run, were very good at recounting historical facts, but their haunted tales felt like follow-up facts to the history. I really dug the old-time San Antonio monologues, but I found myself wanting to pull out my phone to pass the time on some of the “scary” tales.

All that being said, they obviously put a lot of effort into preparing the tour. They wore costumes. They had tablets to show pictures that went along with the stories. And it was pretty good exercise! It’s definitely worth the $20, but you might temper your excitement if you anticipate a good scare.

Our tour guide, Sean, did an amazing job of explaining the history and hauntings of San Antonio! He kept the information short, simple and interesting. The best part was the intimate details of the tour of the Menger after dinner; as we were able to see the interior of the building; unlike the rest of the tour. The dinner at the Menger was definitely NOT worth the additional cost or time; so don't waste your time on that.

Our tour guide, Mark, was a fantastic storyteller that kept us engaged the entire experience. We began the tour on time with a group of about 20 people (kids and adults). There is quite a bit of walking, but plenty of stops with some places to sit. The stories were delightfully creepy but not terribly graphic or gory. There were many young teens and some younger kids in the group and Mark did a great job of reading his audience. We saw many places in the downtown area of San Antonio and I felt the tour was very thorough and detailed.

It was good, not great. I would probably recommend because we did learn a lot about the history of the city that we otherwise would not have. The tour went over the planned time by 30 minutes and ended in a scary part of town late at night.

We booked a stay at the Menger Hotel due to its proximity to the Alamo. From the hotel website, I leaned about the Haunted History Ghost walks, as our hotel was on the tour. My husband wanted to go for the “history” and I wanted to go for the “haunted.” As we were traveling with two small kids and no baby sitter, we each booked the tour for a different night and we both had wonderful experiences. “Revenant Lee” was my guide and he was fabulous—I wish I could follow him around the whole city listening to his witty, entertaining, and historical stories! He went out of his way to make sure our group had a wonderful time. If I’m back in SA again, I’ll definitely look into another tour with Sister’s Grimm.

Lee was phenomenal!!!!! Our group of 9th & 10th graders were captivated by Lee and his stories. He was patient, entertaining and so thoughtful. When I asked if we could have the "PG" version, he absolutely did a fantastic job-no qualms. As if his stories, opportunities for pics and thoroughness and delight in answering questions wasn't enough, he even walked us back to the hotel when he found out that the trek back to the shop would add another 30 minutes of walking to our trip. Truly OUTSTANDING service!!! I would ask for Lee everytime. Highly recommend this tour. Full of history, fun paranormal, and entertaining! Completely appropriate and fun for students and families. 5 stars for sure!

My husband and I went on the walking ghost tour with the Maleficent Mae and was not disappointed!!! She took us all around the city of San Antonio sharing great history and stories of the spirits that still walk earth side in the Alamo city. Her story telling ability, nay gift, immersed you into the 1800s with the theme of freedom and war. Highly recommend!!
