Dr Vitka is a great tour guide! We had a blast. Learned so much about the history of Salem. He was kind, professional and entertaining. We were skeptical about one story he told us about an elderly man who killed and ate parts of his wife in MA but on the way home, we looked ot up and it was true! Would recommend for sure!

Super fun and spooky experience! We are locals and enjoyed bringing our daughter for her first time really seeing Salem. Our tour guide, Mike, was super enthusiastic and a wealth of creepy knowledge. Great twist to the history of the Salem.

Dr Vitka is an amazing guide. He is knowledgeable and communicates the history clearly and with zeal. I really like when guides want the tour group to ask them questions and relate their stories, which Dr. Vitka encouraged his group to do. Most of our group was eager to learn more due to his open and confident demeanor. Dr. Vitka was also aware of everyone's paces. He included times where the whole group could catch up, gave consideration to traffic and safety, and found places where we could sit momentarily. I loved the content too. Bridget Bishop's story was my favorite. It definitely did not feel like 1.5 hours! You will walk a lot, so keep that in mind if you have any mobility challenges. Sorry my photo is so blurry, but it's proof I was there! Tl;dr: Guide has all the knowledge and group management skills to make this tour fun.

This tour was both informative and entertaining. Mike, our guide was great! We did not see any ghosts, but you never know, they might have been present.

I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the history of Salem and the witch trials of 1692. Mike was a wonderful guide with extensive knowledge of the area as well as the facts surrounding the Salem witch trials. He was enthusiastic and engaging with a very nice way about himself. He took the time to explain many interesting facts and welcomed questions from the group.

Dr. Vitka was extremely informative, entertaining, and encouraged questions to be asked! It was my first time in Salem and I am so lucky I picked this tour group! 10/10

Dr. Vitka was great! You can tell he loves what he does and takes his craft seriously, And that is exactly who you want to be giving you a ghost/paranormal tour of Salem. He was kind enough to hang around at the end to answer our many questions. We loved getting his take on the darker side of Salem’s history and present day and had great insider suggestions of other things we should do during our stay. Highly recommend!

Michael is an excellent guy. He has this voice that encapsulates you into the whole experience. Very informative. I especially liked the Houdini story. Would definitely go again. Even though the city is crowded, that’s to be expected, he was patient with waiting to let the others catch up.

Enthusiastic and humorous tour guide. Interesting/relevant talking points. Run ins with other tour groups were awkward, but that’s gotta be practically impossible to avoid. Very enjoyable- thanks for the experience!
