- BackPacker4227630 contributionsIncredible TourSo glad we did this tour! My husband and I toured the Rocky Mountains with Bruce and it was truly unforgettable. The scenery was simply breathtaking. Bruce knew all the best spots for photo opportunities, and he made sure we had plenty of time to soak in the incredible views. We were surrounded by towering peaks and lush meadows. The sheer scale and beauty of the landscape were truly awe-inspiring. Bruce is a true educator, sharing insights into the geology, wildlife, and history of the Rockies. One of the most profound takeaways from our tour was a newfound respect for the circle of life. Bruce's explanations helped us see the mountains not just as a beautiful landscape, but as a complex and dynamic living system. This is a must see tour!Written March 4, 2025
- M842EVericav0 contributionsFamily Trip 2/2025Bruce's custom, tailored tour made our family trip memorable. His passion and knowledge of the area were above our expectations. He expertly maneuvered through the snow to show us parts of the park little know about. His communication and thoughtfulness prior to our tour were very appreciated. He even alerted us to a huge gang of elk in town days before our tour, which was a highlight of our trip.Written February 9, 2025
- 972kazukiy0 contributionsThe most memorable and exciting thing in Estes ParkI and my wife had a great time with Bruce! We joined his tour when we visited Denver and Estes Park for the first time ever on our thanksgiving holidays, and this was definitely the most memorable and exciting thing we experienced there. Bruce is a very knowledgeable and kind person. He took us by his very clean car to some special places that we never be able to visit without him and he never bored us. Also, his talk and explanation in English was so clear and easy to understand for non-native English speakers like us.Written January 28, 2025

- E3743JKjamesj0 contributionsOutstanding Tour of the RMNP and Estes Park.Met us right on time, great communication. Very comfortable vehicle and plenty of room as we moved around a few historical sights in town and then ventured into the park. Bruce was very knowledgeable of the history of the park which increased the value of the tour. He showed us everything from geology to animals, to the hot spots of the park. He never rushed, asked us if there was anything specific we wanted to see or know. We highly recommend Tour Estes Park.Written August 31, 2024
- 436hayd_ef0 contributionsFabulous!Bruce was charming and full of interesting information. Car was new, spotless and super quiet, we stopped all along the way up looking at the incredible views. Was so glad not to be driving those winding switchbacks. A little hair raising to be doing that while also trying to look around at the snow capped peaks, elk and big horn sheep.Written August 23, 2024

Fabulous. Bruce is really a wonderful tour guide. He gave us so much information about Estes Park, the Rocky Mountain National Park (history and more), animals, birds and places to visit. We purposely scheduled a tour a few days after arriving as my spouse has Altitude Sickness at elevations (even medicated) so we had not gone into the park beforehand. My spouse likes to take photos and in the three hours we spent with Bruce he gave us as much time as we wanted at each stop. He wanted to get us to a few more places but due to taking photos we ran out of time. However, he gave us lots of suggestions of other places to go, such as Sprague Lake in the morning to see moose (and we did the next day and watched a Mamma moose and her yearling eating at the lakeside for about 30 minutes). He also gave us many suggestions for shorter hikes due to the altitude sickness issues. And he gave us recommendations for other things to do in Estes Park as well. We would recommend him 100% and give him a 12/10 star rating if it was possible!

Bruce picked up from our hotel right on time in his clean, comfortable vehicle. He told us a bit about the history of Estes Park and pointed out a few areas of interest on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park. Thanks to his tour guide credentials, we did not need a timed entry reservation for the park. Bruce took us to the best scenic vistas with excellent timing to catch sight of mountain sheep at a watering hole, a majestic moose near a snow field, and a few elk along the way. He brought binoculars for us to share. Bruce is very knowledgable about the flora, fauna, and history of the area. My husband and I both really enjoyed this experience.

We went on tour on Friday, 7/29/22, with Bruce. With being able to be in the park for 1 day, it was well worth price. We had an early morning tour of Rocky Mountain National Park and Bruce was able to take us to the best spots for viewing as well as providing interesting tid-bits of history. Since he was driving, the entire family was able to enjoy the view. After the tour, he provided some insight on the best hiking trails to take.

I agree with other reviewers that Bruce is an incredibly kind guide. His self-professed speciality is the history of the town. However, our family tour was only of the park (by request) and logistics were challenging. Bruce is very knowledgeable about nature (trees, wolves, elk) but out of a 3 hour tour, we spent at least 1 hour in unnecessary lines. As a result we only went to 2 sites. He later admitted that he should have used a different park entrance which would have saved us 30 minutes since the the park had higher traffic that day. This was after I specifically told him that the purpose of spending $450 was to make to best use of the hours we had and avoid stumbling around. He had confirmed we could see more sights with him as a guide and this did not work out well.

An exceptionally busy Sunday during the holidays found us stuck in lines of traffic at both Beaver Meadows entrance and waiting in line for a parking spot at Bear Lake. These are both places I avoid in the summer and was caught by surprise in mid winter. In hindsight I should have used the Fall River entrance. I sincerely apologize for my mistake

We truly enjoyed our three hour tour with Bruce! We had already been through the park the day before so he accommodated us by going to some different areas. We were fortunate to see several animals; elk, bear, fish, birds, big horn sheep, mule deer, etc. Bruce was very knowledgeable about the park and Estes Park history which we found very interesting. He took us to a beautiful lake, had great recommendations for restaurants, took good photos and was all around a pleasure to have as a tour guide!!

Bruce Davies was our tour leader. He was excellent. Even though we had visited Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park on occasions in the past, we learned a great deal about the ecosystem at the Park, especially about the role of beavers in maintaining balance. Bruce is an amiable man with a cheerful disposition that made it such a pleasure to be with him. My family and I highly recommend him to other families to take a tour of the Rocky Mountain National Park.

This was our first time to book a tour guide and it was such a great experience! Bruce is super knowledgeable about the park and its flora/fauna. He showed us the highlights and recommend things to see/do when we ventured into the park on our own. Our unguided visit into the park was fantastic thanks to the knowledge Bruce shared.
We highly recommend his tour!

Bruce did an amazing job of introducing us to RMNP. We had him add an extra hour to the 3 hour tour so we could see and learn as much as possible. Bruce is extremely knowledgeable on all things RMNP and we were so grateful for his easy demeanor and understandable presentation of the facts. We highly recommend Estes Park Tours led by Bruce.

Bruce was our tour guide and was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He picked us up at our rental and his car was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a personal tour guide as he had so much knowledge to offer aside from what we had already received.

Absolutely a “must do” tour! Bruce was personable, friendly, fabulous and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Estes Park. We came with numerous questions about the wildlife, flowers, fauna, trees, pine beetles, fires, etc. I did not realize that the elk were eating so much of the vegetation that the beavers had moved on….. so steps are being taken to preserve trees for the beaver population to maintain the beautiful meadows, He will take you wherever you like to go and tell you when and where you are most likely to see wildlife. After our very personalized tour we revised some of our hikes and destinations based on his recommendations. Definitely some of the best spent money to enhance your trip in Estes Park!

My wife and I are planning to come to Estes Park on our spring break in March - She's a teacher and I'm a School District Police Officer. Any chance tours happen in March? Also, I noticed we can get picked up at our place of stay. I could only find that the tour ends in RMNP. How do we get back to our place?
Thanks and just curious,
Dave

Do we have to get a permit to be in the park or is that part of your fee?

Hello. I am trying to book a morning 3 hour tour for two people but there is a glitch that automatically selected two adults and two seniors and it won't allow me to subtract only add. So it won't let me book for less than 4 people. How do I fix this?

I’m quite sure he will. He does sunrise and sunset tours as well. He was very flexible and accommodating.
