      Don’t sleep on Cindy!
My friend signed us up for the elk extravaganza tour for my birthday, and it was exceptional. We had Cindy as a tour guide and I can’t imagine taking the tour with anyone else. She was a font of knowledge and had so many interesting stories and anecdotes about the park history and beyond. We will definitely recommend her to any future friends or family looking to take a tour in the park.

      Well rounded trip of RMNP
We enjoyed our trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and talked about the park, its history, geology, ecology, flora and fauna. We really enjoyed that he spent time on each topic and had a lot of examples to show us. We traveled with my 89 year old mother and our guide certainly took in consideration her limitations as far as walking distances and my mother also liked the trip. We probably stopped in at least 8 different places. I liked that we stayed away from the Bear Lake area as we have been there on our own quite a few times. Our guide tried very hard to find us some big animals like moose or elk but they just weren’t around on the day of our tour. We live in an area of Colorado where we see moose and elk quite frequently so it probably wasn’t as big a deal to us as it would be for people from other parts of the country. We did see a big group of elk in Estes Park as we headed out of town after the tour. I rate it 4 stars based on the use of the two way radio’s. We really had to strain at times to hear what our guide was telling us over the radio and had to travel windows up to help hear. We missed some of what was said and that was unfortunate. Overall, a very good introduction to Rocky Mountain National Park and I would recommend to anyone who’s coming to the park for the first time or those who want to get really immersive.

      Awesome Tour with Julie!!!!
This is an amazing tour. Our tour guide, Julie, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of the park and provided the best service. She picked us up and we followed behind her in our car communicating via two way radios. We saw Elks, Moose etc and the views were amazing. We were able to stop at our request and see whatever we wanted to see and stay as long as we wanted to stay. I couldn't have asked for a better tour and better guide.

      Amazing hike!
My guide, John, was incredible. Very knowledgeable of the park, called me prior to the hike to customize my experience, and was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

      John is the best!
We spent the month of July hiking with John and what a great experience. Since we are sea level creatures, John made sure to set up hikes that would acclimate us. Starting at about 10,000 feet elevation to 13,000 by the end of the month. He knows the park inside and out, so we got to see several lesser traveled areas that were breathtaking. John is also a flower master. He opened up the beautiful world of the tiny Colorado flowers. Crazy amazing when you get to see them up close. By the end of the trip we were much more confident hikers, got to see all kinds of wildlife, and had a great time. We’re hoping to get back this winter and try out snow shoeing!!!

      No shows
We got an email confirmation of the tour yesterday, arrived 15 minutes early, as directed, but no one from Estes Park Guided Tours ever showed up. We called the number provided and left a voicemail and sent an email to the address in the confirmation. No response to either. At 5pm we noticed our money had been refunded. No one bothered to respond, explain, apologize for wasting our day. Obviously very disappointed with this company.

I was excited to book a tour but they require a minimum of 2 people according to their website. I'm so disappointed. I guess I'll spend my money somewhere else.

      Knowledgeable guide
Julie was an excellent guide. As we were the only car doing the tour she came in our car. Her knowledge of the park enabled us to learnt about the geography and the wild life. We had driven through the park on our own and missed loads. I would definitely recommend that you take this trip

      Unresponsive
I am disappointed that the customer service does NOT to queries in a timely manner. There are queries in their pretrip waiver form that could potentially compromise security but no rationale is offered

      Great park experience
Julie was the perfect guide. We drove behind her and she would talk to us on a walkie talkie. She would share facts and history with us the whole way, while pointing out natural wonders. Julie made frequent stops for photo ops and to point things out. I know we would not have seen as much on our own, and if we saw it we wouldn’t know the significance. At the end we went our own way to picnic in the park, and Julie even told us some good picnic spots.

We took a tour with Michael. Because we had already been on a tour with another company, he created a custom tour for us where he took us to places that we hadn’t seen, some which we never would have even stopped at if by ourselves. He was knowledgeable and knew the best places to find moose. He was very attentive and personable and we enjoyed our tour with him! As a bonus, this tour takes you down the Bear Lake Corridor (which you need a timed entry for if traveling by yourself which fills up fast). There is so much to learn at RMNP that you would never learn just driving around. We highly recommend this tour and suggest doing it as one of the first things that you do in the park.

John gave us a personalized tour that was very thorough, very interesting. The guide via walkie-talkie was really great. John has many inter3sting anecdotes about the city of Estes Park and is a wealth of botanic, geologic and wildlife information. Without a guided tour, we might have merely driven around the park without really seeing what’s interesting. It might have been , without his knowledge of park history and his years of experience as a guide, just a nice drive looking at grass and lakes. Highly recommend!

Ben was awesome! He asked what our expectations were and tailored the tour to our interests. He took us to areas we would otherwise not know about and already gave us history / background information. I cannot day enough about how much we enjoyed the time in the park with Ben.

Fantastic tour! JJ shared his love and knowledge of this area’s history, plant and wildlife in a way that was both fun and informative. We did the Alpine Tour the day before and were afraid the lower valley might be anticlimactic but we were able to see and learn about the most beautiful spots. Breathtaking lakes and waterfalls. I definitely recommend this tour!

The facts the guide knew were on point with the tour. The guy wasn't even overwhelming with information, the views were great! The wildlife we were able to see was amazing. Moose, elk and deer in their natural habitat. The guide encouraged us to take photos and gave us some pointers.

We ended up with a private tour (was on a girls’ trip with my mom) and JJ was great! He was knowledgeable and funny in his storytelling. We saw a variety of plant and wildlife and JJ was able to give us more history about the park. Highly recommend,,

We were hoping to get a few photos of wildlife and this tour was nothing short of spectacular! Ben and Tayee were our guides and they were wonderful. They knew just where to find wildlife and let us take our time photographing them. We were able to see deer, elk, and numerous moose, both bulls and cows. The terrain was easy enough for those of us who are not avid hikers on this trek. I cannot recommend this any higher. It is a definite must do!

Took this tour with JJ on 5/29/21. Although it was primarily overcast we were still able to get some great wildlife photos of Bighorn Sheep, Moose, Elk, and Mule Deer. JJ's knowledge and personality made for a very pleasant tour. I highly recommend both the Company and the guide. On a side note RMNP was requiring reserved timed entry into the park and without taking this tour we would not have been able to see as much as we did. Due to Covid protocols we followed JJ in our own vehicle so no need for masks or hand sanitizers.

I just went on the most amazing tour with Estes Park Guided Tours!! During our tour we saw three moose, three bighorn sheep and so many elk! We saw bull elk, cow elk and elk babies!
Ben is so knowledgeable about Rocky Mountain National Park and I learned so much about there park that I didn’t know and I am a long time visitor. It was so nice to be able to have my eyes focused on the beauty around me and not worry about driving. Thank you Ben for one of the best days I’ve had in some time. I highly recommend going on a tour. Ben has eagle eyes and spots animals I didn’t see! Thanks again for a great day. I am so happy with the photos I captured. Kristy
