We had an excellent flight to both Franz Josef and Fox glaciers. The views were exceptional and the experience one of the highlights of our visit to New Zealand. The helicopters can carry 6 persons, so if you go for the cheapest one (to Franz Josef only) you can expect it to be full. The twin glacier tour was only booked by us (3 persons), so we had a private tour.

What a wonderful experience ! We were very lucky with the weather though… very experienced and friendly pilot, lots of information. Breathtaking views and an amazing snow landing!

What an AMAZING experience!! Our day started with disappointment when our original company cancelled our flight due to the cloudy conditions. We contacted HeliServicesNZ & they were confident the weather would change sufficiently to be able to fly & they were right!! Big thanks to Aaron for his customer service & great chat! Words can’t adequately express the spectacular views during the flight & the touchdown on the glacier will live long in our memories! Ken, our pilot gave us his very knowledgeable commentary throughout our flight & was so kind in photographing us all on the ice…thank you!! The flight was fantastic. Take off was super smooth. The views were incredible, with the glacier being even better than I hoped. We were disappointed that we couldn't land but the visibility was just too poor, so rather happy we didn't attempt it. It didn't matter though as it was awe inspiring. I would happily do it again.

On Distant Journeys tour and this was an ‘add on’. So glad we went, it was the most fabulous experience. Our pilot (Geordie) was excellent and after landing on Franz Glacier we then went up and over the ridge to view the Tasman Glacier. The views over the alps were beyond spectacular and the Tasman Glacier was amazing to view from above. A superb 30 minute tour and worth every penny.

What a professional company. From the minute we walked in we were welcomed and fully explained to about what we would get in one of their flights. No bookings that day so booked for 7.30 am the following morning knowing the weather report wasn’t great . They gave us another time option if it was canceled. Arrived early and weather wasn’t great but we were kept fully informed the whole time as to what was happening. ( Pilots call to fly or not) . Flight went ahead and we did not have to pay until we landed as we were told we would pay for the service we received . This was incase the flight was shortened or we couldn’t land on the glacier. After full safety procedure we were able to fly and WOW what an amazing view . The pilot (Jamie) was very professional and we landed and stood on the Fox glacier. Not a clear blue day but the incredible moody sky made this a WOW moment and appreciate that we live in such a beautiful country. The view from the helicopter was amazing. First time stepping on Fox glacier. Was surprised in summer, it is not so cold on the glacier. I really enjoyed the experience

I hadn’t planned to do a helicopter trip but thought I’d pop into the office to get an idea of availability and prices. Aaron, in the office and later the ‘loader’ was really helpful - and did so with a great manner - relaxed but professional (as it should be). I opted for the twin glacier flight and was lucky to have a window seat the whole journey. Jordy (the pilot) was fantastic and really fun to fly with. The thing that blew me away was his ability to print off our individual pictures (of us on the glacier) before we had even taken off again !!! An experience well worth the price 👍

Amazing experience and best way to see the Franz Joseph glacier. Staff were helpful and kind. Easy to get to the heli. Everyone should consider doing this trip - it is well worth the money.

I took my young son on this flight, and it was perfect for us. A 5 minute helicopter flight over Franz Josef glacier to a snow landing whilst observing the glacier. Snowballs were thrown and a small snow man built before flying back down the glacier. Amazing experience.

Landing on the glacier was the highlight of our 3-week trip. Unbelievable 360 views. Being an avid lifelong skier, this was awe inspiring. You don't realize just how small you are until you stand on these ice fields. So cool. A must do activity. Watch the movie at the office too - well worth it.

AWESOME is the one word I'd use to describe the flight. So many breathtaking photos and videos. Mind blowing vista. Best tour we took on the entire trip. Highly recommend.

Our glacier helicopter tour was absolutely surreal and hands-down the best experience ever! Originally, we’d planned to take the flight the day before, but bad weather forced a cancellation. Lucky for us, the skies cleared up the next day, and we headed to the check-in centre, where the staff, especially Tanya, made everything smooth and easy. At 9:30, we were ready to go. From take-off to the snow landing, every moment was jaw-dropping. We did the twin glacier package, and the views were unreal! Jordy, our pilot, was incredibly professional, giving us commentary on each glacier’s story while making the entire experience feel effortless. The snow landing was something out of a dream, he touched down so smoothly you’d think we were landing on a fluffy pillow (even though, spoiler alert, that snow isn’t as soft as it looks). Jordy didn’t just fly us, he also acted as an unexpected photographer extraordinaire, helping us capture every angle. I swear he has a side gig as an Instagram content creator because he knew all the best angles (we had about 45 photos taken by him). Thanks to Jordy and Tanya, we had an unforgettable adventure. From start to finish this experience was incredible! We went into the store and spoke to Dee who was lovely and so informative. She was able to book us onto a tour the following morning and answer all of our questions. We were then lucky enough to have her husband, Ken, as our pilot the next day! He was amazing and took some great photos of us too. Would definitely recommend!
