A note from Denia Sunset Cruise and Dinner at the Port
Our staff has completed the “COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS COURSE” according to the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, taught by Europreven. Boarding pass on mobile in digital format. Safety distance boarding by groups. Social distance between people who do not travel together.

Sunset Cruise with Champagne
Please note: this was the champagne sunset cruise, the dinner was not available as we were out of season.

No life belts are issued and no warnings or guidance given when boarding the catamaran. The craft travels for 30-45 minutes out of the bay and there were children on board, some of whom lay on the nets at the front of the craft (similar in effect to trampolines). There was just one life ring visible.

We paid €6 extra to sit on the nets which was unnecessary as those who hadn’t paid used the area.

The champagne was a thimble size portion of cava in a paper cone.

The weather was poor as was visibility, but that’s just the luck of the draw!

There was no commentary and only a little music on our return back to port.

My reason for giving this review is not so much to share my disappointment with the trip as it is to issue a warning to those with children who may be considering going on this excursion in the future.

We will forward your comments about safety to the boat company, but we can assure that the boats carry all the safety elements on board, even if they are not visible, the legislation in this regard is very strong in Spain.
