About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- sheilafh20230 contributionsVery good overall summary of AtlantaVery good overview of the city. Shelly was very knowledgeable about Atlanta & we enjoyed her history of the town. I would recommend it for the first day in the city.Written January 9, 2025
- Y5366AGstephaniec0 contributionsInteresting but uncomfortableWe expected a van or bus rather than SUV. It wasn’t comfortable. The pickup location didn’t match address. The driver was knowledgeable but too focused on her disapproval of revitalization. Stops (MLK Jr. center, J. Carter center, Ponce Market) were good.Written December 28, 2024
- Go356735311770 contributionsHLf day toyrShelly was very i formative and entertaining. Enjoyed the entire day with her. She was very well versed in Atlanta historyWritten August 6, 2024
- Shouganai_220 contributionsAtlanta Half Day TourThis was a great tour led by a great tour guide. Turned out there was only two of us on this tour so we rode around in a big SUV. Nice and cool in the hot weather. We saw many historic sites and wonderful homes. The visit to the Martin Luther King Center was very moving and thought provoking. We then visited the Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum learning things that made me more appreciative of the man before, during, and after his Presidency. We were taken to Ponce Market to do a little shopping and eat lunch.Written July 15, 2024
- StevenF21050 contributionsFun and comprehensive tourReally comprehensive and enjoyable tour. Shelly was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny too. It was a really great way to cover a lot of territory since Atlanta is a big, spread out city.Written July 7, 2024
- sophiecX5565ZX0 contributionsLate tour, omissions in information but a comfortable way to see the cityTour guide was 45 minutes late, traffic in Atlanta was bad but we were meeting a friend afterwards so we had to bail at Pounce Street Market which was a shame. The Governors House was amazing but that’s not a reflection on this tour as we could’ve booked separately. Not too much information on the founding of Atlanta, its indigenous people, or Martin Luther King Jnr. We did however learn where the free parking was in Atlanta and that the first Chick Fil a was there… bus was comfortable and our fellow attendees were lovely, we covered a lot of ground and so saw a lot of the city but I wouldn’t recommend.Written June 27, 2024
- 159curtm0 contributionsSuper Tour!We didn't know Atlanta had so much to offer until we took this tour. Shelly was so knowledgeable and personable it was a real pleasure.Written May 10, 2024

- 239le0 contributionsGreat half day trip for first time visitorsJust what we were looking for during our first ever weekend trip to Atlanta. We had a half day to see some of the sights and Shelly delivered. She was knowledgeable and very engaging. The visit to the Carter Center and Ebenezer Baptist church were among the highlights of our tour.Written April 9, 2024

- VoyagerTu0 contributionsKnowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating.Shelly was very knowledgeable about Atlanta and very friendly and accommodating. She really covered the city well from one end to the other. You will certainly get your value from the tour. It was very thorough and she was extremely accommodating.Written March 22, 2024
- robertsX1353GZ0 contributionsGreat Way to Learn AtlantaShelly was a great guide. There were only 3 of us for the tour so she was able to transport in a minivan, giving us more access to places in tight roads. Shelly was there to meet us promptly at 9am and gave us an extra hour to wander in the Ponce Market, ending the tour at 3pm (instead of 2). Shelly was very knowledgeable about Atlanta, including the history. Her great personality, wit and humor made the trip very entertaining, enjoyable and educational. We recently moved to Atlanta and this was a great way to learn about the city.Written February 19, 2024
