Very good tour if you like history. I happen to be a history teacher, so I enjoyed it very much. Our guide, Jeremy, did an excellent job. He is exceptionally knowledgeable of local history, and he did his best to keep the group dry and warm on a night of abysmal weather as he

The guide was very informative and clearly knew his history. The tours starts downtown, goes to the cemetery, stops by some old homes, and returns to downtown. It is about 2 hours of walking and listening to Dahlonega history, but the ghost/spooky stuff is pretty limited.

We try very hard to create a good balance between a paranormal experience and the history of the town and people. We care greatly about our tour goers experiences and are very disappointed when someone does not have anything but an excellent experience. We are very concerned that it may have been a result of having a tour guide who may have emphasized the history more than we recommend for this tour. If you could contact us directly at dahlonegawalkingtours@gmail.com, we would love to see if we can turn this experience around for you. We would also like to get some specific details so that we can make sure that we don't get another review like this. We have something coming up that I think would be right up your alley. Please get in contact with us.
