This was a good tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us very entertained as well. The only suggestion I have is to change the last stop to a restaurant that is vegetarian/ vegan friendly. A salad in a small disposable bowl with a sub par ginger ale mocktail was not worth the &99

Wonderful experience!!! It turned out to be just my husband and I so we got a more personalized experience. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. When one of the restaurants had an unexpected pipe burst, a substitute restaurant was found quickly to make sure we weren’t cheated. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Michael was a terrific guide!! He is very knowledgeable and told us a lot about local street art, history, and about the neighborhoods where we visited. The food choices were excellent. I initially thought three hours seemed long but the time passed quickly. I loved seeing all the street art in addition to tasting the food. Also, walking along the Beltline was fun and super interesting. I totally recommend this tour.

My wife and I took the Inman Park food tour Easter Sunday, 2021. The tour started at the One Eared Stag where our guide provided the first tasting of the day - a doughnut filled with ham he brought with him. We started walking while we ate and got a nice tour of historic homes and sites along Edgewood Ave. Our tour guide Michael was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Inman Park area and he did a great job explaining the history along the way.
After a leisurely tour of the neighborhood, we wound up at Albert's pub for a sampling of smoked/fried chicken wings, a cocktail, and boiled peanuts. We sat inside the restaurant for this stop, one of the few where we ventured inside to eat. After a short jaunt down the beltline, we stopped for a gelato. Next on the food parade was another doughnut (custard filled, chocolate covered). At the final stop at Krog Street Market we were treated to a tasty beef and veggie wrap and an apple turnover. After that, we made the easy walk back to our car about 1 mile away.
I was disappointed at the food provided. In general, the food was just average. These tours should be an opportunity for restaurants to show off their signature menu items, but what we got was clearly not a sampling of anyone's best efforts. I also felt the restaurants were not of the caliber I was expecting. The majority seemed to be sandwich and doughnut shops based on what we were served. Even the nicer restaurant on the tour (Beetle Cat) that could have provided an interesting sampling opted out with a doughnut. And, if anyone was counting, there were four sweet items on the tasting-about three too many.
Eating most of the food on the run took away from the experience. A separate food tour in Savannah we attended in February had tables set up and ready for the tour everywhere we went.
I don't want to discourage anyone from taking this tour since the sightseeing portion was a lot of fun-but if you are going for the food, you might be disappointed.

A tour guide should NEVER be rude to a customer. Michael needs to put ego aside and learn that lesson, instead of responding egotistically and rudely to purely innocent questions. His unsolicited snark remarks should also be a NEVER for a tour guide.

Michael is a great tour guide. I think there's been some miscommunication. Please reach out if you would like to discuss this further.

Our tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable and fun to listen too. The actual food tasting part was not worth the money. Two at of 4 tastings were on the go. You had to eat while walking to your next location, which for me, was not a great experience. I think for the price of the tour there should have been more than 4 tastings. Also, the tour does not end, where it began, so people new to the city, might have a hard time finding their car. All in all, I say, don't waste your money with this tour.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. We’re in the middle of a Pandemic and have altered some tastings for guest safety. Two of of our tastings take place as we walk. Three of our other tasting take place while seated. We have 5 tastings overall, not 4. And yes, there is a beautiful ten minute walk for those who parked at the tour starting point. It’s one right and one left. We provide directions but most people prefer to use Google maps. I’m sorry this step proved difficult for you. Please email me explore@foodtoursatlanta.com and I’m happy to provide a full refund.

Our tour guide Michael was great. He was knowledgeable about the history of Inman Park and he was fun and cool.
My wife and I enjoyed the tour. We like to walk so the long walk was fine.
The food tasting needs some work. It was interesting because we tasted food that we would not normally order or buy. However the price of the tour was high for the number of tasting stations.
I could say that the food would cost around $50 and the price of the tour was $99.
I understand there are extra costs and the guide must be paid but $49 for extra costs was high.

The Beltline Food, Street Art, and History Tour was outstanding. My husband and I are long-term residents of Atlanta, but we had never been to any of the 6 restaurants visited. The portions were very generous and represented a diverse mix of cuisines. (Half were desserts, which I personally loved!) Michael, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods we visited -- historical information and current information too. The tour lasted 3 hours and we were walking about half the time, but it was not a strenuous walk, more of a leisurely stroll. I would HIGHLY recommend the tour to Atlanta visitors and locals too!

perfect for visitors and locals!
We had a great time, Michael was a great tour guide and every stop was chosen with a purpose and all had award winning chefs and top notch tastings. It’s enough food and everyone seemed to have enjoyed the portion size. The walk was easy and relaxing

Our guide, Michael, was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area and the food stops. All of the food was good, but nothing outstanding. The walk was a long one, longer than I'm used to, but pace was pretty good. I would recommend it to someone who is used to walking and wants to learn more about Atlanta while enjoying some unique food.

Myself & my guest would be attending the ATL Beltline tour. Our diets consist of vegan & seafood.
Would there be adequate choices of these meals?
Also is there a list of these restaurants prior to purchase so we can have the opportunity for the very best experience by preparing accordingly?
Thank you!

They will send you the specific instructions once you book, but for this tour we met inside a food market at a bakery stand. It was super easy to find and our guide was right there to greet us.

I would like to give this as a birthday surprise gift. Can I purchase the tour without booking the date and leave that up to the birthday girl?
