Ursa and Jenej provided old fashioned family service in showing myself and 13 mates around their gorgeous country on two wheels. The hotels were very comfortable, the wine tasting was authentic and the food quite sumptuous. Nothing was a problem for Ursa in the lead up. Communication was timely and friendly and included good advice on what to do, where to eat and where to ride. The windy valley roads and famous climbs ( Vrsic Pass and Mangart Pass) are right up there with anything we've ridden in the French and Italian Alps. Jenej and his crew makes it all happen out there on the road and we especially enjoyed when he rode alongside our group. Highly recommend if you're a road cycling enthusiast and want to see the real Slovenia.

Our 7 day cycling trip through Slovenia and the Dolomites was fantastic. I highly recommend Greenhills, our tour was great value and well organised.

GreenHills put together an outstanding 7 day bike tour through the hills and vineyards of eastern Slovenia. We wished to explore this region and though there was not a specific tour already made for this area, Jernej and Urša created an itinerary and route that was exactly what we had envisioned. During the course of the week we stayed at a comfortable Touristic Farm and then the Sibon Wine Resort. Both were excellent, offering friendly care, tasty meals, comfortable rooms and beds and fabulously scenic views. Each day we would ride a loop from the accommodations in a different direction than the day before. The bikes were matched to our size for efficient and comfortable riding. After breakfast each morning Jernej would meet with us to outline several proposed routes for us to decide which was best suited for us that day. We made stops along the way to tour castles, taste wine, learn about pumpkin oil production, taste some wine, sip coffee or eat a gelato or Slovenian specialty pastry at a roadside cafe, and then taste some more wine! This was our second time taking an e-bike tour with GreenHills. And this trip was as excellent as the first time. GreenHills knows how to guide you on an enjoyable adventure as you explore beautiful Slovenia.

Greenhills provided us with a fantasticly diverse 3 day tour, based on our specific requirements. We negotiated the routes and the logistics directly with them, and they were responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend direct contact with them to get the most out of your tour, rather than going through Tripadvisor which is inflexible. Greenhills was just the best, our 3 day custom made cycling tour for 11 of us couldn’t have been better. Jernej and Ursa form a perfect team. Their approach to the trip was so pleasant, relaxed, interesting and professional. The bikes were excellent, the routes were beautiful, the views fabulous and the food was delicious. We got to taste local food, had picnics at wonderful locations and all biked at our own level but still all together. Everything went extremely smoothly: transport, hotel, bikes. I 100% recommend them.

Jernej guided me on the ebike tour of Velika Planina and I had a private tour as I was the only sign up for that day. He was an excellent coach for the ebike and was happy to go at my pace. As an older woman with two knee replacements, I found the climb to be challenging but manageable. Jernej gently encouraged me to make it to the top as the views were stunning! I had hoped to get lunch at the top but only one place was open and they were sold out. The ride down was at first on gravel. I was a bit nervous but got through it. I definitely recommend this company and this tour.

our group of 10 adults, all over the age of 62, was expertly guided by Jernej and his Greenhills team for 8 days of exploring the stunning beauty of Slovenia by E-bike. every one of our needs or concerns were immediately addressed so that we each had a great time. sometimes we split up into different groups to better fit what we wished to do each day and Greenhills was most accommodating and flexible. the bikes were in excellent condition and recharged nightly. having guides who are also cyclists and bike mechanics was most appreciated. having led several bike groups on trips with other guide services in other countries, i can attest that Jernej and Urša and Nejc and Uroš have proven to be the BEST i have experienced.
