Great fun on a segway and learned a lot of history on Richmond, while having a lot more fun than being on a walking tour. In fact, it didn't feel like a tour at all, but a fun time out on a fun machine with a knowledgeable guide sharing information along the way. Highly recommended if you're looking for something fun to do and want to learn some history along the way.

Andrew , our tour guide , is profoundly knowledgeable of Virginia war history and its characters. He is very articulate , efficient and careful of his customers. The preliminary training was perfect without much dilation, then followed 2 solid hours of fun- filled rising mixed with beautiful views intermingled with the best history lesson about the historic figures that rest at the Hollywood. Well done, Andrew! Highly recommend- for visitors from out of town as well as locals!

Our guide, Andrew, shared a wealth of interesting information about the cemetery and its occupants. The cemetery itself was gorgeous and the views of the city and James River were stunning. If you are nervous about riding the Segway, our guide gave us an effective orientation, covering everything we needed to have a safe and fun tour. We highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was very patient making, sure the entire group of segway novices was trained and comfortable. We were a large group and he took the time to work with everyone and made sure we still saw all the highlights at Hollywood Cemetery. Highly recommend this tour as a fun way to see this sight and to be confident on a segway.

Our”girls trip” decided to try the segways. Ages 16 to 71. We all loved it. Was not difficult. The guide,Vince, gave you plenty of instruction and was always watching out for everyone on the tour. The stops on the tour gave you a great overall feel for the city. We even got a little time to have fun with the Segway. I wish our guide had talked a little slower and louder. Maybe a microphone but certainly would recommend this tour to everyone! Great job Vince!

My husband and I were the only people on our tour so we had the added bonus of Vincent’s undivided attention . We covered a vast area and Vincent was extremely knowledgeable about both the history and geography of the area. He totally contextualised monuments that we had hitherto just walked past. I would consider this as a ‘must do’ tour if you are visiting Richmond Va

My husband, son & I went on these. It was fun & very easy. We were able to stop & rest whenever we wanted, and our guide took very good care of us. We saw a lot of historic sites, including the Governor's Mansion, the flood wall. locks, Christopher Newport statue, murals, etc.

We had a great history lesson during this tour. The trolley is really cute, the driver is very careful, and Melissa, the tour guide is knowledgeable and pleasant. This tour is worth your time and money.

We selected a Private 2 hour tour so we could move at our pace. It added $10/person for a group of 6. The tour was excellent and Jonathan was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The weather was chilly 40 degrees and partly cloudy. The only thing we would change is to dress warmer and wear thicker gloves! Great Tour!

Plan a little extra time to find parking. The parking decks are a little pricey. Street parking is available if you have time to look. The Segway tour was great. It takes about 5 minutes to get familiar the it. Also the guide (Grace ) was excellent and provided us with a great history lesson!

I just did the one hour tour this past Friday and it was a lot of fun! The guide, John, was knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable - particularly those folks who had never ridden a Segway. I highly recommend this activity!

Fantastic. Had a great time and was a blast. The instructors were great at teaching everyone how to use the equipment and gave a great tour of the cities historical landmarks. Not only do I highly recommend but will recommend it over almost anything else.

We arrived on Memorial Day and the graves were all decorated. Over 3000 confederate dead had been relocated here after the civil war. We drove thru the whole cemetery and saw many memorable monuments. Three presidents are buried there: James Monroe, John Tyler and Jefferson Davis. along with many famous generals from the Civil War.
