Learning to cook Italian in Sardinia 😊
Today we went to Nonna ‘s family home in Sardinia to learn how to make some famous Italian dishes including ravioli ,gnocki, mazza frissa and a desert called seada with honey .We were lucky to meet her husband and their two granddaughters .After preparing the food , we all sat down to a lovely meal and shared stories about our different countries .We learned much about Sardinia and its traditions both from Nona , her husband and Yvonna our very helpful guide who drove us to and from Nonna’s home .Thank you all for a very special day .

Need a guide (not necessarily by boat) for Sardinia? Look no further!
These guys really know what they are talking about. From the intital contact by email with Ivana, with only a few days until our arrival - the planning of a customized tour around Costa Smeralda, to the actual tour with Luca, our guide. Deposit was paid through SumUp, and the remainder was paid by card at the end of the tour. We did a 5 hour tour in a Range Rover, visiting Baja Sardinia (where we had a quick lunch), Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo, San Pantaleo and La Scalinata di Santa Lucia. Both Ivana and Luca really understand what customer service is all about, and they clearly are proud Sardinians. The tour was insightful and very interesting, with scaterred facts and knowtos about this and that as we drove through this part of Sardinia. Luca was extremely knowledgeable and with a well balanced sense of humour, making our time with him both a lesson of learning about Sardinia as well as filled with laughs and fun. The only drawback was that we found them too late to be able to book another tour with them, as we would certainly have done so, if we had more time. They offer tours both around Sardinia as well as La Maddalena (where we stayed). For our tour, we had pickup and dropoff at the ferry port in Palau. FortiEventi deserve all the praise in the world and I highly recommend them and their services if you are planning a trip to Sardinia. I will certainly reach out to them again for my next trip to this paradise in the Mediterranean. Thank you!

          Phenomenal experience !
Had an amazing day with Ivana and Nonna Micheala, learning to cook traditional Sardinian food and learning so much about this fabulous culture. The food was amazing and we were treated like long lost friends. The food was beautiful and the authentic surroundings were only beaten by Ivana's vibrant energy. Thankyou so much x

BOOK WITH FORTIEVENTI — AN ABSOLUTE MUST WHEN VISITING SARDINIA
I did 2 tours with Fortieventi - small group tour to Costa Smeralda and small group minivan tour to La Maddalena and Caprera. When in Northern Sardinia these 2 tours are A MUST. I do extensive research when traveling and want to ensure that the activities I choose will be worth my time. Please take my word and trust me when I say that you will have THE BEST EXPERIENCE with Ivana and Luca. I cannot express my sincere gratitude to them for everything. I have really enjoyed my stay in Sardinia for the past 10 days and this will not be my last. It is because of people like Ivana and Luca who have made it so memorable. Their passion in what they do really shows in their tours. They have created and maintained something so special in their tours that it saddens me to leave Sardinia with only 10 days in this beautiful island. Sardinia has become one of my favorite places to visit and I cannot thank them enough for showing me a little piece of the place they call home. Book these 2 tours or any tours they offer and you won’t regret it!

An excellent tour round the North of the island of Sardinia
Went on this tour with Luca as our guide. He had excellent English, German and Italian and as there were three couples , one speaking each h language he communicated well with us all. The tour started when we were collected from our hotel, the other couples had already been picked up. We went to several places around the North of the island with several stops for us to have a wander and look, to get drinks and food. We started at San Panatelo where besides the pretty village with the mountains in the background. Then a short drive to the small town of Arzachenand to see its famous Mushroom rock and for a coffee. Then o Porto Cuervo and Costa Smeralda where this modern village/port was the expensive holiday destination for the rich and where lots of expensive shops were situated. Finally we stop at the next village where there were lots of restaurants for lunch. An enjoyable tour where we saw and were informed about the history the island, its architecture, the exported items (calk, wine, cheese etc), plus saw lots f beautiful views. It ended when we were returned to our hotel.

          Words are not enough!
We had the pleasure to have a daily tour with Ivana. Ivana is a knowledgeable guide who knows all details and hidden gems of North Sardinia. We understood that she took a lot of extra miles to provide a unique tour, far beyond our expectations. We quickly visited San Pantaleo and Arzachena. We then took the ferry and visited La Maddalena and Caprera islands. She recommended places for a quick coffee, gelato, and lunch by the sea. These are places that only locals know. We then continued to Porto Cervo hearing the story that made this place so popular. We visited the church of Stella Maris and we found the hidden treasure of El Greco. We felt that we received a treatment like friends, and not tourists. Highly recommended!

Excellent tour of Costa Smeralda and value for money. Definitely Recommend!!
This tour was excellent. Luca was a great host with a vast amount of knowledge and also made the trip enjoyable and lighthearted. Lots of places to see and to stop and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. We didn’t feel rushed at any time, with a good balance of guided tour and free time. Thanks Luca for a great day!

          Forza Fortieventi!
From our initial enquiries, Luca demonstrated a friendly and professional approach. We were picked up at our hotel in Golfo Aranci dead on time and, after picking up one other couple, had a great day in Alghero and along the Capo Caccia promontory. Very comfortable and spacious vehicle. Luca very informative but relaxed and good fun. Plenty of free time. Decided not to do the grotto but chilled on a quiet beach with cafe nearby. Would definitely use this company again.

Interesting commentary and visit to Alghero, Capo Caccio.
The tour description included 3 separate stops- the 3rd stop being Neptune’s Grotto. We were only informed after the 2nd stop that we should have notified the tour operator in advance that we wished to book Neptunes Grotto, days before the tour started. This is not apparent on the booking site.

          Great introduction to Sardinia
We booked a private tour, as it was hard to find larger tours. That was a bonus. We were met by our excellet and informative guide Luca, on the day in a large and comfortable car ontime. The rest of the day was a day of beautiful scenery, small hill top towns ,marinas, super yachts, history and culture. From the super rich of Porto cervo to the neothlithic remains of a past time. Luca is local to the area and brings his rich sardinian heritage and culture to life( Plus an excellent sense of humour). Lots of discussion on many topics. Lunch was on the beach at the gulf of orange. Overall great day and great memories

Luca was an absolutely fantastic tour guide of the Moon Valley! We were staying in Pittulongu and he was able to pick us up right at our Airbnb. The day went very smooth. We first stopped at a supermarket to use the restroom and get any last minute snacks before our adventure. We then headed to the trail. It was full of hiking, and maneuvering through rocks. It was such a fun experience with amazing views. After we finished (about 3 hours in duration), he dropped us of in the city center for each of the respective groups to have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we then headed to the local beach for a swim and relaxation. We had about 2 hours after the hike for lunch and the beach. Highly recommend this adventure with Luca!

This was one of the best trips we did in Sardinia. If we only could pick 2 things from everything we did - this would be one of them. We had a good weather and it is suitable for people who are able to do some easy to moderate hiking as it involves stepping on stones etc. so it’s not just walking. I recommend a good tennis shoes at least if not hiking shoes. If I did it again I would wear long pants versus shorts as stones may be sharp. We were reworded by incredible views and very friendly Sardinian guide who was just the best you can wish for, honest and so helpful to everyone.

This was not what I expected and could not have been more pleased. I had thought it was hiking all day, but the actual walk was very well paced over only a few hours. The views were stunning, everywhere you looked, plus we learned snippets of Sardinian life. It was not physically difficult for a young/middle aged person of average fitness though there is some rock stepping which is fully supported by the guide. Best of all, we sat on the beach, had beers in the sun and wandered in town as well which is not normally my "thing" but the great group (6 total) made it such a pleasure. The guide was flexible with our interests. We got much more than we expected and can't recommend it highly enough.

Love, love, loved it! Luca was a great communicator. He picked us up at our apartment and drove us to the start of the hike while giving us information about the island. We hiked in a cool area with a lot of rock formations. You definitely need tennis shoes, lightweight pants (some wore shorts), and water. This was legit - not a stroll in the park. He dropped us off for lunch at a beautiful beach and then took us to a small town where we walked around, ate gelato and looked in shops. It’s about an hour drive from Olbia to the hiking spot, but well worth it. We were able to relax and look at the scenery. On the way back, I think we all fell asleep (siesta time).

If you are an active person, this is your jam.

This hike is stunning. Luca tailors it to the level of difficulty the group can manage. My husband and I hike a lot so we were able to do some incredible climbs with great views. We had time to see a nice little town and have a beautiful meal overlooking the water. Luca as a guide is amazing - he is knowledgable, friendly and really taught us a lot about Sardina.

Luca was simply excellent. He made our day hiking a memorable experience.
Luca picked us up right on time and we had an entertaining drive to Moon Valley.
The hike was wonderful and we were fully supported. My husband and I are in our 60’s and hiked within our limits.
I can’t recommend Luca enough as we left our day with an abundance of knowledge and a difficult time saying goodbye!

We combined the city and Archeology tours together. There were 3 of us in a tuk tuk which worked out well. Do put long hair in a braid, bring water, and comfortable walking shoes. When going into the sights, we did leave our bags with the tuk tuk.

The audio guide was in English and gave a nice introduction to the sights and there were placards to read as well. We were the only ones at the sights and no entrance fees. It was nice to go at our own pace. The guide introduced us to cork trees as well.

The sights are easy to walk to, only 1 was up hill, the castle ruins. My niece also found small animal bones here, so she was entertained. It was a good outing for everyone.
