We had a great experience with Elly and Frankie on the bike tour. They were very knowledgeable and made for a fun and safe experience. The equipment was in excellent condition. The pace of the group was steady and not hard to follow. For a 20 something-year-old it was a little slower than my normal, but in a larger group it was great. They made a few stops along the way to catch your breath and to share knowledge of history and the landscape.

There is an alternative to this tour, where you can rent bikes in downtown Anchorage and bike the tour yourself, but I still recommend this tour. The trail is 19-20 miles long and they drive you to the opposite end from Anchorage, so you can see the southern half. I would recommend renting a bike downtown and doing the north half on your own, as it's a great trail with lots to see.

Elly was an awesome guide. She took us along a beautiful trail and provided interesting information about the state and it’s economy & history at the same time. She was very upbeat & approachable. She also spotted a mama and a baby moose - the baby only 10 feet off the trail - and kept us safe while we enjoyed an extra long stop to watch the moose eating (while mama watched from the bushes). Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail Ride. The company was extremely accommodating in helping us find a parking spot before even beginning the ride. The bikes were awesome- comfortable, sized appropriately, easy to ride and in great condition. The ride itself was beautiful. Our guide Noah could not have been better. He was knowledgeable, rode at a speed that met the needs of 5 of us and made the trip very enjoyable.

Noah was a fantastic guide. He set a very comfortable pace and was very knowledgeable of the area and the flora and fauna of the area. The bicycles were very easy to ride and the 10 miles went by quickly. The bike path was mostly downhill or flat so perfect for this middle age, doesn’t bike much, woman.

The bike tour was the highlight of our trip! Dan drove us about 10 minutes to our drop off point. Our guide Elly made sure we were set up on our bikes appropriately and outfitted with bike gloves and helmets. We had a blast riding at an easy pace on the trail enjoying the gorgeous and varied foliage and the occasional moose and even an ermine! Elly is extremely knowledgeable about the trail, fauna, wildlife and historic events like the 1964 Anchorage earthquake. 2 hours flew by and before we knew it we were at our pick up point with Dan (so incredibly welcoming and friendly by the way) waiting for us. I highly recommend this activity especially for those who enjoy being active. Thank you Dan & Elly!

Elly, our knowledgeable guide, spotted a moose feeding on willow leaves 50 feet off the bicycle path. If we had came on our own, we would have missed it. And also, Elly made sure that we kept a safe distance from the moose. We were so excited that we just wanted to rush over and hug the moose, forgetting that this is a wild animal and we should keep a respectable distance. Thanks, Elly! And she also allowed us plenty of time to photograph the gorgeous moose. She was beautiful with her wet coat of fur glistening behind a curtain of birch trees.

Very enjoyable bike ride, despite the rain. Noah did a fine job guiding the two of us and also ordered up 8 Moose sightings! He provided answers to all our questions and kept our safety and satisfaction as his top priorities. Trail is ~11 miles long and paved. No significant inclines. It travels in the forest, along the coast, and even near the airport runway. The driver (cannot recall the name) also did a nice job getting us to the trail head, set up and back to the meet location with no delay and minimal rain impact. Would definitely recommend this service

This was a super fun tour even on a rainy day! Derek was a great tour guide! Super fun and informative. Pro tip - if it’s raining wear your pants OVER your rain boots. I was soaked by the end so would definitely recommend bringing a dry change of clothes if it’s raining out. This was a small group and I wasn’t excepting much because of the rain but I was so pleasantly surprised to see moose right away! Easy trail with just two hills. Great way to start my trip in Anchorage! I would definitely book this again, and hope to see more sights on a clear day.

Ellie was our guide for the two hour bike ride through Kincaid Park. It was so much fun. I'm relatively active, but thought the effort in terms of biking was easy as most of the trail is downhill. Ellie was so informative about the wildlife and plants along the trail and Alaska in general. If you're really active and looking for a challenging bike ride, this isn't it. But the park is so beautiful and peaceful and a great opportunity to preview parts of the park. We saw a moose entering the park from the van so no close encounters, which I was fine with!! There were only 6 of us on the tour so we appreciated the small group. Overall, we had an excellent time and I highly recommend the tour!!

We have a lovely bike ride, led by our informative guide, Derek, and accompanied by our driver, Dan. Our highlight is definitely seeing a moose and her twin calves, but we also see lots of plants (which Derek explains) and different parts of the trail, including Earthquake Park and Point Woronzof. The ride is fairly flat, except for one short steep hill (which can be walked, if necessary). Our group included our 81-year old father and 8-year niece, and everyone enjoyed our outing.
