WOW! This was our first time in Seattle and we didn’t know where to start. This is a huge city but this tour took us through all the ins and outs of the city. EARL was our tour guide and he was amazing! He’s lived here since he was stationed here in 1986 and knows what’s going on in the city now and so much of its history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We had a very diverse group but Earl kept us all engaged in the conversation and found places of interest for each of us!

This tour is special because Earl is a people person with a lot of knowledge and history of Seattle. He will drive you around in a small group (14), point out highlights of downtown, inform you or entertain you with tidbits, and invite questions as you ride along. Earl managed, on the spot, a very, very special inside tour at the Puget Sound locks. This extended our 4-hour tour to 5 hours (without charge and no tip), then offering us 1 of 3 drop offs. As I left his bus Earl asked, “Didn’t you have a jacket on when you arrived?” Yes, but I took it off and stuffed it in my bag. Thanks for looking after me, Earl!

Our driver/guide Earl was consistently fun and upbeat for the entire trip. He drove us through streets no charter bus would ever attempt. We never felt rushed and there were plenty of bathroom and photo stops. I would recommend this city tour to everyone wanting to get an overview of Seattle and it's various neighborhoods.

Once again I am humbled and I will tell Cleo (Tour Bus) that she is more agile than a charter bus. I appreciate the review, I know it takes effort to take time to write one. Most appreciated.

Do you want to take a generic, boring tour of Seattle? Book with one of those other companies. Do you want an interesting, fun, hilarious tour given by someone who knows the city and will make sure you have a good time? Book this tour! Earl and Cleo (the tour bus) will take care of you. They will show you things about the city that you didn't know existed. The pace was great, we were never bored, and the time flew by. Earl provided bottled water, you can bring food on the bus, there are bathroom breaks, and there was also a stop at a donut place (your own expense). Stop reading these reviews and take the tour!

I had a fantastic introduction to Seattle's history, architecture, and landmarks on this tour. Earl is an incredible tour guide and human being. He knows this city like the back of his hand and his enthusiasm is contagious. In addition to seeing downtown Seattle, I learned about the history of the Panama Hotel, watched boats and seals at the Ballard Locks, saw cool public art, and even had some delicious local coffee. I highly recommend Earl's tour, it's the best way to see Seattle in all her glory.

Susan blessings to you for your review, I am really glad you liked the tour, rolling without a big group of people on a bus has some advantages. I am glad you enjoyed the tour and thank you very much for the review. All the best.

That was the 1st time I stopped twice for coffee, it also may have had something to do with people needing to pee after the first coffee stop:) Thank you some much for the review I need all the help I can get after, not touring for over a year do to COVID. Tell you man thanks for the raisin oatmeal cookie, it was thoughtful. Earl

This city tour is one of the very best tours I have ever been on. As a hotel concierge from another major city, I have taken dozens of tours in my city and other cities that I have visited. This tour ranks at the top. Earl has the perfect personality to guide visitors through Seattle; a mix of Seattle history, current events, jokes, trivia and personal stories keeps this tour engaging and fun. Highly recommend to anyone, from teenager on up.

I had a limited amount of time in Seattle (one day) so I wanted to see as much of it as I could, this tour did not disappoint. Not only did Earl cover all of the interesting sites, he provided awesome dialog, history and humour for the entire duration of the tour. His knowledge and passion for the city was evident in how he discussed the different neighbourhoods, and I like how he talked about more recent events such as the impact of the pandemic on the city and the whole CHAZ incident. He also dropped me off at the Space Needle at the end of the tour which helped me see even more of the city before I headed back to Canada the next morning. If you are visiting Seattle and looking for a great tour with a personable and knowledgeable man, look no further than Earl and Puget Sound Tours!

The tour guide Earl was very engaging, he was simultaneously funny and informative. I appreciated the fact, we were not crowed into his tour bus like cattle. Learned much about Queen Ann neighborhood , seems like a lovely place to live. Loved seeing house boats and the area of Boeing first test flight denoted by a simple plaque

Queen Anne is a nice place to live, and if it was a clear day when you took the tour you can see angels sipping chardonnay. (don't recognize wecollie) Thank you for the review, I am always appreciative when someone buys a ticket and grateful when I get a review. Thanks so much.

Not really. There are a few stops and it would be your option to walk far or not. Was such a great tour we would book it again.

We are staying at the Sheraton Grand and have already booked 2 tickets for Friday 8/5. What time should we be out front for pick-up?
Written July 26, 2022
Earl touched base with me the night before and confirmed the pick up time. He was right on time. I have no doubt he will reach out to you via text to the number you used when you registered.

If you go to the site and click on the calendar it will show the date available. You can click on the date and it will show you the times available. We left on our tour at 10:00, we got back a little after 2:00. I believe most if not all of the tours start at 10:00.

From the Mayflower, we went to the Westin Seattle for pick-up. It is very close. Pick-up is at the side of the hotel by valet parking.
