About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Elaine W0 contributionsGreat time in Mt Rainier NPJohn was a great guide, entertaining and gave us a lot of information about the park. Of course we didn’t see the whole park but saw a lot, very impressed. Thanks much!!Written September 8, 2024
- TheMiller100 contributionsThe best tour I’ve ever takenI’m not a big tour guy, but I loved this one. Simply put: The best I’ve ever taken. The guide, Andreas, was friendly and smart. The group was good and Mt. Rainier should be on everyone’s bucket list. There are a lot of tour operators. Stop browsing and use this one. Seriously. That’s not hyperbole. And I’ve been around the block. It’s simply a great and memorable day that will provide multiple breathtaking moments, as well as enough time to take it all in. Bravo and thanks.Written September 8, 2024

- jennatip0 contributionsAmazing! Worth the $!Would HIGHLY recommend this tour! The experience at Mount Rainier National Park is amazing and it was great to have a guide who knew what things were open or closed and where the good spots were. It was a fun tour with lots of stops - vistas, visitor centers/gift shops, and some relatively easy 15-45 minute hikes. I had Andreas as my guide who was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I stayed near Capitol Hill and there was a convenient pickup location. The bus was comfortable and fit about 20 but there were 11 of us. We stopped at a grocery store in the beginning to get prepared food & snacks for the day, so you could do this or bring a sandwich for lunch if you plan ahead. Plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks. Great communication - we apparently were lucky with weather and Andreas explained if certain things were open/ closed (most were open for us on this hot Sept day). There was a little wildfire smoke at the top but not bad, and a KN95 mask I had filtered it out. Because of the smoke, the area was a bit hazy and not a clear view but we were still able to get amazing views of the mountains, especially Rainier. Also because of the smoke, there was no wind, so Andreas was able to take us to an alpine lake where you can see Rainier’s reflection - what a treat! Andreas was communicative with a good sense of humor - he explained so many of the features of the land we passed - trees, glaciers, wildlife, and history of the park, area, and native peoples. So glad I did Rainier with this tour!!Written September 7, 2024

- Connector101964010480 contributionsExcellent tourMy fiancé and I spent our first full day in Washington on this tour. It had some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve seen in the US. It’s a full day (10+ hrs) so wear some comfortable shoes or trail shoes if you want to go on a few short hikes, like we did. Andreas was a great tour guide, super knowledgeable, affable, and also a great driver. 100% recommend.Written September 7, 2024
- bkmatise0 contributionsGreat full-day tourThis was one of the highlights of my visit to Seattle and should be a "must" for any visitor who has a full day. Knowledgeable guide gave us lots of information on the tour and what to look for. Before lunch there were several great stops for photos, short walks, etc. Lunch at Paradise was beautiful and there was the opportunity for 2 hikes. On the way back there were several stops, some of which seemed a bit repetitive (just more photos of the peak from different directions). It was a long day but well worth it!Written September 5, 2024

- 993MichelleM0 contributionsGreat overview of Seattle! This tour was a great way to get an overview of Seattle on our first day! Our guide, Nicole, was SO friendly and knowledgeable and we felt very safe in her care. This tour took us beyond the immediate downtown, and we enjoyed seeing some other neighborhoods around the city. Nicole even took some pictures at the stops so we have a couple of lovely pictures of us together. Highly recommend!Written September 3, 2024
- Darsh20000 contributionsFantastic RonWe took our trip to Mount Rainier on 09/02/04. We had a fantastic time. Ron our tour guide was very engaging and made the tour more fun. We took endless photos of the Mountain. We were lucky to get sunny and clear skies. We spent 90 mins at Paradise, stopped for lunch and a short hike on one of the trails. Got to see many rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Overall, a fantastic trip. Do not miss this tour if you ever plan to visit Seattle. My only feedback, I would have preferred more time at Paradise and less time at some of the other stops on our way back. That being said, we covered a lot on this tour. It is a beautiful park and you are guaranteed to get the best photos.Written September 3, 2024
- mirrored640 contributionsRanger RonRanger Ron was a humorous, knowledgeable guide. He made the experience a lot of fun. His trademark “Ron Spots” were excellent photo opportunities and he was happy to help snap pics. The best part of the tour is near the top at the visitor center and lodge where you can go on one of three hikes. Fair warning: Ranger Ron said 50% of the time it’s cloudy and you can’t see anything (like literally nothing is visible). We were fortunate to have perfect weather: clear sunny day.Written September 1, 2024

- rebeccadR7744ES0 contributionsTrip of a lifetimeOne of the best experiences of my life! Seriously. The tour guide Erica was absolutely perfect. She was kind, patient and so knowledgeable. The mountain was absolutely beautiful. The stops on the way in and out were perfect and I was able to get lots of pictures. Erica even offered to help take pictures which is great especially as a solo traveler. I would do it again and recommend to all of my friends and family. Thank you for a memorable experience.Written September 1, 2024

Brian our tour operator was awesome! He was a wealth of information, personable and fun! We did this tour on the first day of our vacation and it was perfect! This gave us an opportunity to choose what sights we wanted to return to for the remainder of our stay. The tour ended at the Space Needle. We stayed and toured the Space Needle and the Chihuly exhibition while others chose to go back to their hotel or another location. Brian was accommodating and took all his guests to their desired destination (within the City)
I would HIGHLY recommend this tour! You really can’t go wrong and even better if you can schedule it early in your trip!

This is definitely a bus tour I would recommend if coming to Seattle. And if possible you should inquire if you can get Bryan for your tour guide. He starts by learning everyone’s names and home locations and makes everyone feel so at home right away. The bus carries 25 passengers so it’s a small group which is nice. Doesn’t really matter which side to sit on - but if I had to choose one side I would maybe lean towards the right side of the bus but there are great photo ops on both sides. The bus stops multiple times for 15-25 min which gives you plenty of time to go to the restroom, stretch your legs and look around and take pictures. And Bryan is so knowledgeable about everything Seattle and even explains how salmon spawn and travel through Puget Sound. He also offers a QR code where he offers a recommendation document. It was just such a fantastic way to see the city - highly recommend it early in your visit so you can plan different places to return to.

Perfect way to start of Seattle adventure. So happy our family got away from home for a few days and we wanted to get a chance to see both downtown and surrounding areas… and the tour was a hit. Got a look at many of the places we wanted to explore further and the tour not only gave us some great perspective, it really showed us more than we could discover on our own. And, Mark, our guide was truly amazing. He was a master storyteller, full of amazing facts and insights… spun in a way that grabbed the attention of the entire family. Plus he answered a ton of other questions while making sure everyone was having a good time. Highly recommend the tour and try to get Mark if you can.

This tour is packed with information and allows you to get to know the city and its surrounding areas in a short period of time and our guide Steve was amazing and personable. Time is allotted for photos and bathroom breaks. I recommend this tour for folks that didn't have a lot of time but wanted to get as much in as possible for a reasonable price. The pickup spots were convenient and easy to get to.

Our tour guide Ken made the experience absolutely delightful. He was so knowledgeable and delivered the information in a manner that was not only informative but was also entertaining. It was obvious that he enjoys what he does. Was a great way for us to see things we wouldn’t have seen otherwise, and husband could relax and enjoy the scenery.

My son and I enjoyed this tour. Marsha was our guide. She was nice, but on our stop to Pioneer Square, she reprimanded us for getting back to the bus 12 minutes late. This was after she had told the entire 20 passengers that she knew sometimes it took a while for bathroom breaks because the restaurants only allow you to use their restrooms if you buy something. We needed a code to use restrooms and this took a while. She had told us not to get out of line if we were in one, but made us feel like we had greatly impacted the tour for taking 12 minutes extra which could not be helped. I was rushing to get back on the bus and my phone was ringing and she said "If your phone is ringing, you need to answer it" in a irritated tone. I was trying to hurry to my seat since she complained of our 12 minute lateness. Other than that, she was pretty knowledgeable. Our Mt. Rainier tour the next day with Gary was amazing!

We needed to kill time before taking a red eye flight, and this tour was worth the time and money. It encompassed many aspects of Seattle: it's food culture, its ties to the Klondike Gold Rush, the tech boom, interesting architecture and engineering, famous landmarks, and of course its fishing industry. Our tour guide, Holly, was wonderful! She had a vast knowledge of the city and provided great insight when answering our questions. She even pointed out interesting things to do or see that weren't even on the tour. We also greatly appreciated her waiting for us when we were lost and running late to the tour. The bus carried 10 passengers and was handicap accessible. With a small group of travelers it was easier to open up and have conversations with others. There were plenty of bathroom breaks and time to take pictures. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and wished he had more time to go back and visit some of the places we learned about. I highly recommend it!

I like to know where we are going, so I will tell you. After hotel pickup, we went to Pike Place Market, then traveled down Alaska Way to Pioneer Square, where we had a rest stop. Then back aboard, thru Chinatown and on I90 across Lake Washington to Mercer Island to breath the”million air”. Back to I5, pass Lake Union and then thru the funky Fremont District. Then after another rest stop, a photo stop at the ship canal locks. Then to the “Postcard” Park in the Queen Anne district for more photos. Finally drop off at the Space Needle to tour on your own (or back to your hotel). Can’t think of a Seattle highlight bypassed.
Most of all, the driver/ tour guide was engaging, well informed, and humorous. And I especially liked that he used maps; most tour guides never use maps to show you where you are.
Tour was great; you won’t be disappointed.

The 3 hour tour ended up being 4 1/2 hours. We were first to be picked up and last to be dropped off. Our tour guide Mark offered to drop passengers off at hotels which made for a very long tour. He often popped the curbs while make turns practically bouncing us out of our seats each time. There was no apologies from out tour guide he just kept talking like nothing happened. My 75 yo father complained about back pain later in the day from all the bouncing. I understand stand that there are some tight turn and that popping the curb will happen but he could have apologized and check on the passengers which he did not do. The tour was informative but half the tour was showing us rich peoples houses which I found boring and pointless. With there being so many other things to see I think the time could have been spent better. I don’t recommend this tour. They could at least offer water once they passed the 3 1/2 hour point. Very disappointed.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for leaving feedback on your experience. While we do ask guests to allow for additional time for pickup and drop off, 4 1/2 hours is not the norm. It sounds like there was more than one issue on this particular tour. If you're able to reach out to our office directly, please ask for Nicole. We'd like the opportunity to make this tour right with you.
Thanks!

Our tour of Seattle was even more interesting thanks to Ron, our Tours Northwest guide. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable about each of the areas we toured. Most of the areas were the typical tourist attractions. But several of the areas were "off the beaten path" and places that we would not have known about. His humor and insight made this trip the highlight of our trip to Seattle. He offered to take photos of us and suggested changes to the itinerary, based on the changing weather conditions, so that we could optimize our views of the city. This is definitely the way to explore and experience Seattle.

you also offer a four hour tour - what are the differences?

I am unsure. The trip we took I thought was supposed to be a four hour tour but I thought three hours was more than enough. We saw a good part of the city and it's main attractions.
