Fantastic Tour!
We had a wonderful day trip from Seattle to Mount Rainier. Our tour guide, Jake, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and gave us some background information to help pass the time on the two hour ride from downtown Seattle to Mount Rainier National Park. We stopped for coffee, tea, and pastries at Alder Lake and then continued on into the park. We stopped at Narada Falls for some stunning views and then traveled up to Paradise. Jake led us on a hike on Deadhorse Creek trail and provided hiking poles, snacks and water or juice. It was a steep climb but the views were worth it. We were rewarded with a fantastic view of 3 volcanic peaks (Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helen’s, and Mr. Adams). We also saw wildlife, including a “whistle pig.” We had time for a quick stop at the gift shop at Paradise Inn and then had a picnic lunch overlooking the canyon. Next we stopped at Christine Falls and then walked along the Nisqually River and had a chance to dip our hands into the cool water. We admired an old growth forest with 800 year old trees and saw the Twin Firs (a tree that is half cedar, half Douglas Fir). This was a packed day but it was paced well and we saw a lot of highlights of the park. We returned to Seattle around 6:30 pm and Jake offered recommendations for some of his favorite restaurants. We highly recommend this tour with Jake and Evergreen Escapes!

Wonderful Experience!!
Sep 2021 • Couples
Jake was a kind and informative host! We had such a fun time. Tasty pastries and coffee in the morning and a delicious healthy lunch, with snacks/juice/water available the duration of the trip. Everything was well paced throughout (sights, breaks, snacks). We had excellent weather and got to see some amazing places. A wonderful experience to partake in while visiting Seattle. We will be back :)

Great experience
We had a wonderful trip. Jake picked us up at our BnB and we joined the other guests on a very fun trip. The drive to Mt. Rainer National Park took about 2 hours, but it seemed much less because Jake provided a lot of information about the area as we rode. We had coffee and pastries just inside the Park. The weather was a challenge with rain; but, we were able to see a lot of beautiful waterfalls and Jake took us on hikes explaining the plants, trees, and stories about the Mountain. We were unable to see the summit, but we saw and enjoyed so many other things. We had a very tasty lunch. We really enjoyed the trip and highly recommend Evergreen Escapes.

Great Tour!
Sep 2021
Went on the Mt Rainier full day tour and it was awesome! We were on the fence about even doing a tour at all because I felt like we could probably just drive through the park ourselves, but this trip really surpassed my expectations. We originally chose it because it was more intimate group than big bus tours - so if that's what you're looking for, this is it! Justin Fox was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and considerate of the group. He brought us to the best spots for us to take in the scenery and get the best pics which is something you won't necessarily know if you're traveling without a guide or with a big bus company. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Evergreen Escapes!

Top notch tour by a top notch guide…Justin Fox.
Justin Fox is awesome! Justin kept us informed, entertained, and fed…couldn’t ask for anything more. Justin’s knowledge of the park was top notch as well as his familiarity with geography…taken us to well known attractions as well as a couple of less well know locations that provided amazing views. Justin didn’t try to fill in bogus knowledge on questions he didn’t know the answers which made the experience more authentic and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour as well as Justin Fox.

Had an incredible day on this tour! The views were breathtaking and it was so great to be immersed in the beauty of it all! Our guide Lindsay is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. Our group went on the tour during labor day weekend so I especially appreciate how he adapted the tour to avoid big crowds. He was also very receptive to what our group wanted to see/where we wanted to spend more time. Wonderful day in a wonderful place with wonderful people!

We went for a girls trip with 5 in our group. We had 4 additional guests on our tour for a total of 9. Lindsay was our tour guide and he made sure that all 9 of us had a great time. He let us decide what we wanted to see and do as a group. Lindsay was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Mt. Ranier and all of the different facets of nature in the area. The rivers, falls, trees, glaciers and the volcano were just magnificent to see in person, I’m so happy we end on this tour!

Beautiful Day Tour

This was such an incredible experience! Ben hit all the best spots that catered to what the group members were hoping to see/experience. He shared lots of knowledge about the park and Washington state, and our group shared tons of laughs. I highly recommend this experience. The park was gorgeous, and the group was a blast. Absolutely the peak of my trip to Seattle!
