      Very Good Experience!
First of all, we loved the convenience of being picked up at our hotel. That alone is a bonus. Our driver, Rich, was so considerate, well-informed, and cautious. All qualities were appreciated. He couldn't have been more helpful and willing to tailor the tour to each customer.

      Seattle on the go.
What a great tour. Got to see Seattle’s many diverse and interesting neighborhoods as well as visuals of the city from different perspectives. Our guide Nicole was very knowledgeable about the history of the city even though she is not a native of the area. Her many life experiences and locations definitely added to her narrative. We definitely recommend this tour!

Outstanding tour and well-priced for all that you do and see. John was a terrific guide. Calm, funny and informative, he gave us details about what we were seeing, allowed for quiet time to enjoy the sights and made the day go smoothly with his terrific sense of humor. He also might be the safest driver I've ever experienced on a tour. The tours are in small vans not large busses so your group doesn't overwhelm. The number of stops was "just right" for me, allowing us to see a variety of wonderful Mt. Ranier sights but not so much that we were overwhelmed. The amount of time spent at each stop was also just about right and I felt I was able to take the photos/enjoy the moments to the fullest. Would definitely book this group again.

We arrived at our meeting point a few minutes ahead of the scheduled departure time with a cup of coffee and a lot of anticipation. We had a beautiful day. The mini bus arrived right on time. It was clean and comfortable.
As we departed the city, our tour guide Lucinda spoke to us about the options for the day’s itinerary presented by the near perfect weather forecast and the summer season options for accessing the National Park. As a group, we elected to go to the Sunrise visitor center. Sunrise was a real treat as it has fantastic views, solid hiking trails and good facilities. It didn’t disappoint.
We were treated to an exceptional day and enjoyed it thoroughly. Kudos to our guide for her excursion management skills and sharing her local knowledge with the group.

Our tour guide Mark was the best! He was a great driver, funny, kind, informative, and patient. It was a perfect day and totally worth the time and money. It is an incredible national park. I have a fear of heights but the drive around the park did not scare me. It was the most tame mountain roads I have ever seen. Incredible experience and memorable. I never hike and this was a perfect intro to making you feel safe and getting out into nature. Beautiful water falls and the tour guide will take photos of your group for you!

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Ron, was fantastic and a wealth of knowledge. The tour started close to our hotel and Ron took a poll on who wanted to take the Sunrise vs Paradise route. Most of us wanted Sunrise, but because one group didn’t, we ended up doing Paradise (which was fine, but it seemed odd to not have a set itinerary and some people REALLY wanted to do Sunrise). As we drove a few hours to the park, Ron gave some great tidbits and historical facts. We stopped at a grocery store for lunch food (where the pre made sandwiches were extra, extra dry - no mayo?). There were limited food options in the park. Once we hit the park, Ron was great with taking pictures for everyone and pointing out great info on plant life and glaciers etc.

Be aware - Mt Rainier is a shy mountain and you may not always get the views you want. We were extremely lucky to get to the top and have the clouds disperse for the hour or so we were there. By the time we left, clouds rolled in and she was gone!

Ron stopped at all the right spots for great views and great pic! Highly recommend this tour - and don’t forget to bring some cash to tip your awesome guide!

I had James as my tour guide and he was very calm, educated, organized, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. I could tell he cared a lot about the guests as well as the sites. He knew all the history of mt rainier and even the names of the people on our tour. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to take this tour. The actual tour itself was beautiful (we got very lucky with the weather) we went on three different hikes (not difficult, each 20-40 min) and saw very different parts of the mountain all in one day which would’ve been hard to do otherwise. We saw the top of the mountain at “paradise” (I recommend wearing hiking/snow shoes), a waterfall, and mirror lake. On our way back to Seattle james took us to this small, rural restaurant with amazing blackberry pie. He organized it perfectly and it was such a personal touch to the tour that I really appreciated- and the pie was delicious!!

Had an amazing time on the day tour. Mark was our guide, and he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area and it's history. There is very limited hiking required due to the tour being open to anyone of all fitness levels, but there is 90 minutes of free time spent at Paradise where you can do hiking on your own. Overall, I highly recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in learning about the history of Mount Rainier and its surrounding towns, as well as just seeing the sights. If you are only interested in lots of hiking, this probably isn't the tour for you.

The views and all the stops were amazing and loved every minute of the tour, our biggest issue was with the guide Cindy. She mentioned she was new but we had never felt more unsafe in a bus than with this lady, her driving skills are not very good. She did a few dangerous things such as making a U turn in the middle of the road with cars coming from both sides (she did this twice - once in Seattle because she took the wrong exit and another time up in the mountain), she was driving more than 70mph on the freeway and didn’t stop for bumps or uneven terrain. Many times we felt like we were flying and leaving our seat because of the intensity of her driving and speed. She almost missed an exit (again!) so she made a dangerous turn, she got lost in Seattle when she picked us up and again when she dropped us off. Again the tour is totally worth it, amazing views but our experience was unfortunately affected by the guide who made our experience a terrifying one. Overall wouldn’t recommend this tour.

Was looking to get out the city for a day on a recent trip to Seattle. This was a fantastic trip! Our tour guide was lovely and friendly and very knowledgable about the history of the region. She was also very get at always giving time frames on going up and coming back (It's about an hour to our next stop), so you always knew the distance. Mt. Rainier is GORGEOUS. I highly recommend making the extra trek up to see the glacier if you have time. There was also options for those who did and didn't want much physical activity. Most stops only required minimal physical activity so even if you're not very active, you'll get a lot out of this trip.

We enjoyed out full day tour with Ken. We were picked up on time ( 6:45 am) and stopped to pick up lunch at a supermarket. The area is very beautiful and we were able to see waterfalls, wild flowers, do a few short hikes and just enjoy being in very wonderful place. We didn't get to see much of the mountain since it was cloudy most of the day but at least it didn't rain. Ken showed us the highlights although each stop was often quite short but it would be an even longer day if we spent more time at any one place. We didn't really have to stop at a gift shop on the way home but they had really good ice cram and sorbets - perfect after a long day out. We had a nice mix of diverse people on our bus who all were friendly and helped each other out.

The Mt. Rainier Day Tour was well worth it! The transport and stops made were very convenient, accommodating, and thoughtful as there were multiple bathroom breaks, an opportunity to get affordable food from a grocery store, and a fun stop at the end for ice cream.

Since the temperature was variable, our tour guide John used his judgement to take us to stops where we would enjoy our time the most. He was also really clear about the length of time we would have at each stop and what was possible to accomplish. As a result, we were able to cover much more ground than I would have been able to traveling on my own, and we got to see some amazing sights.

Mt. Rainier National Park is a must visit if you are visiting Seattle, and I'm so glad I went on this tour.

***As a note, I didn't stay at a hotel, and so pick up was at a central location in downtown Seattle.
