See Victoria, British Columbia on a full-day trip from Seattle aboard the Victoria Clipper, a passenger-only ferry that follows a scenic route through the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands. In taking to the water, avoid the long drive to Canada and have time to explore Victoria’s historic downtown, harbor, and gardens before the return trip to Seattle, traveling on a boat with comfortable seats, a cafe, and duty-free shops.
  • Visit Vancouver Island by ferry, bypassing the long overland trip
  • See wildlife on high-speed ferry between Seattle and Victoria
  • Cruise into the San Juan Islands and the Strait of Juan de Fuca
  • Passenger-only ferry with comforts such as seats, a cafe, and duty-free shop
  • Land right in Victoria’s Inner Harbor, walking distance from top sites
What to Expect
Make your way to Seattle’s Pier 69 for an early morning departure, bringing your US passport, passport card, enhanced driver’s license, or enhanced ID card for arrival in Canada. Settle into a comfortable seat, and enjoy views of the Puget Sound as you cruise to Vancouver Island, watching for whales, seals, and birds along the way. There’s a duty-free shop on board, as well as cafes and outdoor viewing decks. Upon arrival in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, set out for a day of exploring the historic city, the capital of British Columbia, on your own. You might browse downtown shops, visit the Empress Hotel for high tea, or make your way to the sprawling Butchart Gardens just outside of town. At the end of the day, return to the Inner Harbour for the trip back to Seattle (if you've chosen the round-trip option), enjoying late evening light as you retrace a path through the San Juan Islands.

Despite some reviews I saw before we booked, this was a fairly easy experience. Yes, there is a customs line on both ends when you get off the boat but that is far easier than any international flight I've taken so it's not that bad. The ride itself has some times where there

We loved our day in Victoria. The trip on the Clipper was much longer than we realized but it was comfortable. We didn't really take advantage of the food because we didn't know we would be on board so long so ate before boarding.

A wonderful and comfortable way to get to Victoria, Canada for the day. The upgrade to Comfort Class was worth every penny. Expedited customs/immigration alone was worth it. The chairs were very comfortable, with a table in front of every seat. The crew members were very nice

I booked the trip wanting to go to Canada and definitely not wanting to drive from U.S. The ship was very very smooth at high speeds , very surprising as there were areas with huge waves and we never felt them. Comfort Class upgrade a must, the seats were roomy and not as
