          Big Feat on Mt. Rainier
Cory is an excellent tour guide & one I’d definitely recommend! Despite rain, sleet, snow, & sun, he was prepared for everything. Very flexible, knowledgeable, & caring, Cory shared many stories, easily changed plans explaining beautifully as he did so, and patiently looked after each of his tourists from young to older on a tour that I’ll always cherish. From helping with snowshoes, taking photos of everyone multiple times, assisting on hikes, & sharing iPhone tips, Cory kindly cooperated with everyone helping us forget that due to weather, Mt. Rainier hid from sight. Forget Big Foot, that was a big feat for our tour.

          Fun Day in the Rainier
Wow, a must do trip! We loved our guide, Cory. He is a must have. When we arrived at the park, Paradise was closed due to bad road conditions. Cory took us to the lower part of the park to do some short hikes. The views were spectacular even with the rain. After this, the road to Paradise opened. We were able to head there after all. Beautiful in the snow. Cory has a great knowledge of the park and assisted us in knowing our options. He was very informative, funny, caring and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure all members of the group stayed safe and even assisted when needed.

Amazing 🤩 trip for family vacation.
Amazing trip with the best driver and tour guide ever, his name is Corey. He gave us phone tips to shoot good pictures. He explained all trip details and places. Views were unique. We had rain, we had snow, we had dry weather, all in one day. This was a family trip my brother and I, we had one of the best experience. Thank you Corey. We recommend this trip 100%……

          Fun Mt. Rainier Trip
We went on a rainy Tuesday with only 4 people including myself and my girlfriend. Cory was awesome and worked hard to give us a good experience despite the poor weather conditions. We would have liked to of seen the mountain, but nobody can control the weather. Despite this, we still highly recommend taking this tour with Cory!

A great way to see Mt rainier
Comfortable tour with so many great views. Once we boarded Corey took us all over the park giving plenty times to stop for pictures and go to the bathroom. Going on a short hike at paradise and getting to see Mt Rainier unobstructed was the highlight for me. Overall it was a great day trip and very comfortable and fun way to see the national park.

          Great experience!
The tour was amazing…my mother had knee issues and Cory (our guide) was very helpful and accommodating . The trip was amazing… we saw gorgeous views of Rainier national park. Mt Rainier was not visible clearly due to weather issues for most of the time but we still had fun and enjoyed other beautiful views.

          Cory is great
This tour was amazing. Only thing we couldn’t do because of road closure was reflection lake. I will be back for that. Cory was a great time, made sure everyone was able to enjoy and experience the adventure.

          Phenomenal day at Mr. Rainier!!!
I don’t think my family and I have had a more perfect day, ever. Our guide, Corey, picked us up on time at our hotel, then proceeded to drive the group from Seattle to Mt. Rainier. Along the way, Corey gave us a fun and entertaining history lesson about the mountain and surrounding area. He also made jokes and told us other funny stories. He gave us great advice and guidelines for all of our stops, and though we never felt rushed, Corey kept things moving along at a good pace. We had fantastic photo opportunities as well as great hiking experiences. Seriously, Corey’s well suited for his role - personable, smart and energetic. We couldn’t have asked for better!

Excellent way to see the mountain!
Our tour guide, Cory, was terrific in taking us to various sites in and around Mt. Rainier National Park. We got nice views of the mountain on a mostly clear day. On top of that, Cory was a funny guy. I would do this trip again, but in the summer months when all the park roads are open. On my trip, taken in mid-April, not all park roads were open, and so, we couldn't get to certain places (e.g. Christine Falls).

          Beautiful nature experience
Cory was my groups tour guide and he was so great. Really great energy and good at making conversation with everyone. The tour itself was really good. I like that we were given the option to do our own thing at some spots. We hit many beautiful spots in the park and I would highly recommend booking if you’re going solo or a small group. Saves you the hassle of transportation and getting around the park by yourself, while also getting to visit many classic mt rainier spots

          Mountain experience
Overall our experience at Mt. Rainer was outstanding, mainly because the park, the views, nature and the hikes were more than what we anticipated. We left the tour with an experience of a lifetime. Our tour guide was Cory and his style as a guide was very relaxed which we enjoyed. One thing to know is that you will stop at a grocery store about an hour from Mt. Rainer so you can buy snacks/food/drinks or any outfit that is needed for the hike/day at the mountain. The tour doesn’t include food or drinks though Cory got a case of water for us to partake which was very nice. Be aware that even when the tour description says snow boots available, that is not guaranteed; we had to buy our own (which was an additional expense). We enjoyed all the stops we did at the park; Cory planned those well and even took us to a wooded trail so we could experience the majesty of old trees while pointing out its significance to the natives that once inhabited the area. Pictures are worth more than words, so I have attached a few for your reference.

I was kind of disappointed with this tour and would not recommend. The wine tasting portion is in a strip mall type place with a bunch of tasting rooms/wine stores. We went to Goose Ridge wine tasting was $15 which is waived if you purchase any bottle over $31. The wines were good but I did not purchase. We spent about an hour. In the same area was Maryhill Winery. It’s actually a restaurant type setting so you are expected to order some food. The tasting is $15 for 6 wines which you can use towards a bottle of wine. I liked the wines here better and purchase a bottle of white. The food was also very good. We spent about 2 hours here. Next was the Falls it was beautiful but we only spent about 30 min. This was disappointing because we could not walk down the trail to the bottom to get a different view. The last stop was a chocolate store. We got dropped off and had the option to buy chocolate. There were so samples so I’m not sure if it was any good but it was on the pricier side so I’m assuming it was. A self guided tour was an option but we only spent about 20 min here so I didn’t have time. That was the whole tour. The tour was about $100 you are basically paying for transportation I wouldn’t call this a tour. There was a little bit of history thrown in on the bus ride but you are basically on your own. The best part was I met really nice people. I would have preferred more time at the Falls and the chocolate store was a waste of time. I would choose another tour honestly

The first Winery was great! Seats all ready for us. Then we went to Chateau Ste. Michelle. It was not great. We were seated in the back of the bus (also very uncomfortable seats due to the wheels and even more limited leg room) and by the time we got to the area we thought we were supposed to be in there were no seats left. No one at the Winery seemed to be able to point to an area where there were seats available. So many empty tables all around us but with reserved signs. This was not what I expected when I booked. I have high anxiety and book trips to help make the trip smooth. This fell very short of that. If your guide says you are going to this Winery I would recommend asking to so somewhere smaller, where EVERYONE can we accommodated, not just the first people off the bus.

We attended this tour and overall we had a decent time. The falls were beautiful but were a minor part of this tour. We only stopped at two wineries and were surprised we had to pay $15 and $25 per tasting. There was no food available at Goose Ridge but there was at Chateau Ste. Michelle (which was excellent). We also stopped at a chocolatier which was a nice treat at the end of the day. Out of all the excursions we did around Seattle, this one was the most disappointing.

I am sorry to hear you did not fully enjoy your experience. It is noted under the tour description how many wineries are visited and that the tasting fees and lunch are excluded. These are major factors as to why our tour is less expensive. We do appreciate your feedback and you touring with us.

This tour was absolutely spectacular. Mark was a very funny, social, and knowledgable tour guide. While I am not a wine drinker personally, doing this tour for my mother who is, I found plenty that was interesting and enjoyable. The food at the second location is VERY good, and I strongly recommend the brie, the brisket, and the teriyaki chocken sandwich.

Snoquami falls was the highligh for me as I am an avid hiker. While not personally a long enough stay for me, I have to remember that this is s wine tour and the falls are a perk. Knowing that, I stayed up at the main overlooks and still had a great time.

Boehms chocolates was a fun stop at then end and the samples and the chocolate was delicious.

I need to say this again: I am NOT someone who is into wine, but this tour was worth the money, even for me. I strongly recommend it. However, if you are going with idea that hiking Soquamie Falls is what will make your day, this tour is not for you. Moreover, you should not rate this tour negatively because you came with that expectation.

I strongly recommend this tour. We are only in Seattle two days, and this tour used one of them. I felt that it was definitely worth it.

Thank you so much for your feedback and review. We are so glad you traveled with your mother and even though you were not a wine connoisseur still had a great time and recommend this tour to others. You are correct about the hiking there just is not enough time to include it into our tour day, however guests who would like a little hiking would be greatly served if they choose our private tour option where you can customize your itinerary. We appreciate you and your mother touring with us!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. The two wineries we visited were both outstanding. The falls were beautiful. And ending the day with a chocolate candy maker made the day perfect. Our guide Cody was very friendly, took good care of us, and gave us tons of fun information. We highly recommend this for anyone who wants to visit wineries in a limited amount of time.

Visited Goose Ridge Winery, Maryhill winery, where there was the option to have lunch (which I can recommend) and Chateau St. Michelle (where you can walk around the grounds with your glass of wine), then proceeded to the Snowqualmie waterfalls which are spectacular. Our last stop was at Boehms Chocolates. Mark was a great tour guide, very knowledgable and he made this tour lots of fun.

We had so much fun our winery and waterfalls tour! On an off season day with only the 2 of us on the tour, I was surprised Customized Tours didn’t cancel! Corey was an amazing guide that didn’t make us feel bad about being the only ones there; he even gave us options to customize the tour a little as a result! Corey was super informative about Seattle and the surrounding areas. Everyone we encountered on this tour was really friendly and accommodating. We bought way too much wine, saw beautiful views, and walked away with some great memories.

Great day out and a good way to see the spectacular countryside surrounding Seattle. The falls were particularly impressive. The whole experience was much enhanced by our Tour Guide James whose impressive knowledge ranged from local businesses to milk yields of the record breaking cow at Carnation Milk. His interaction with all those on the tour including a child made the day so much the better.

Overall I had a really great experience. Our tour guide Joel was nice, friendly, and informative. We visited two wineries, Adrice wines, and Chateau Ste. Michell, and I really loved both places. Each winery had its own characteristics, so I could experience various wines. We had enough time to enjoy tasting wine. Really awesome!
The waterfall was not as spectacular as the picture, but it has a pretty good view. However, the trail from the upper falls viewpoints to the lower falls viewpoint is a bit steep, so it was hard for me to climb back up in a short time. Well, I guess it would not be a problem if I had enough time.
I would like to recommend this tour to my friends and, if I visit Seattle again, I definitely want to participate in this tour again.

From the customer service and help provided by Desiree with a request to change my tour date, to the pickup time being spot on, to Mark’s wonderful personality and knowledge of the area, to the wine and the falls… This tour was wonderful! I had to make a last minute change to my reservation and Desiree was a superstar and so friendly in our communications. Mark was right on time for pick up and his personality and friendliness from the moment he said hello made me feel comfortable right away. The tour was wonderful with some awesome wine tastings. The food at Maryhill was delicious and the falls were stunning. Mark was entertaining and patient with all guests. Everything about this tour was worth it. Definitely a great tour, especially if you’re looking for a little reprieve from the city.
