This was an awesome excursion. From the bus driver to zip lining guides they were all excellent. Leery our bus driver as she drove us to the site she was telling us about the town history and kept us all entertained with her jokes. Our zip lining guides Kyle and Clara were awesome they made zip lining so much fun. Who knew that they would be able to make it more fun than what it already is. They had us playing games and gave us challenges as we zipped lined through the tree tops. The sites were beautiful and the weather was perfect sunny and cool. I would definitely recommend this not only for a couples but for families as well

Just realized I never left a review from our trip back couple of years ago but felt like I needed to complete since it was such a wonderful tour. We were surprised we were the only two people on the van compared to the full bus next to us for a separate tour with the cruise. We thought they would cancel but no, the guide just treated us like VIPs. The ride to the zip lining was informative, and the zip linings was in a magical fairy like place with waterfalls and spongy moss greenery. We just had a great time and hope it is still as good.

We had a blast zip lining in the forest. Our guides, Kenna and Michael, were energetic, funny, yet professional and kept us safe. The drive up the mountain was unique.

Family
My family had a great time on the Grizzly Falls Ziplining Expedition. We were on a RC cruise and booked this excursion directly with Alaska Excursions and saved some money by booking directly with Alaksa Excursions. We were picked up right in front of the ship and taken to the home base for the Zipline. We boarded the unimog for a bumpy but beautiful ride up to the ziplines. We donned our harnesses and helmet and followed our guides and zipped over glacier-fed creeks and waterfalls through the beautiful canopy of the pine trees.

We booked our excursion with Grizzly Falls on our own and not from our cruise ship. What a great group! We LOVED the whole operation and everything went smoothly and we had a ton of fun. Having been a rock climber, I know harness and line safety, and these guys know their stuff and everyone is ALWAYS clipped in... but there is still room for fun. Once you know you're safe, then you can be free to hang upside down, go crazy, and really ENJOY the lines, which we did.

The entire team, from our driver (Eric?) who gave us a TON of great info about living in remote Alaska (he was one of THE BEST driver/tour guides I've ever had), to Christian and Caleb keeping us all loving the lines, to whomever runs the office, were top notch!

One note for people with little kids barely making the age/weight cutoff... our youngest had to do one line tandem with Christian because they were worried about him being too light. It turned out to be one of his BEST RUNS! We also had someone who was a bit apprehensive with the "trust fall" line... and totally no big deal to Caleb. He talked to her, kept her calm, and she had a great run on the line face-forward. These guys want everyone to have a good time.

And here's where a company can shine... I booked the wrong day for our trip (oops!). Somehow, I had the following day for us arriving in port than the day we did. After nobody was at the ship to get us 10 minutes into our scheduled time, we called the office. They were EXCELLENT! It was my bad, but they had us on a van and catching up with the rest of the group in NO TIME! Seriously! Dealing with problems is the hallmark of excellence and these guys pulled out a major win.

My family and I just returned from Alaska and this was one of our favorite things to do! My children and I had ziplined before (this was first time for Dad) but what I liked about this trip was, it wasn't one long zip line and you're done. There are several ziplines down the mountain over beautiful falls and our guides, Chris & Patrick made this trip soooooo fun! They both are experienced guides and you feel very safe and they were also very entertaining! This was hands down, one of my favorite excursions! Also, our bus guide Thomas was FANTASTIC! He was so funny and full of energy! I highly recommend for families or couples. Our children are 15 and 12. Lots of great memories made on this trip.....a good time was had by all!

My wife wanted to zip-line so two friends and I signed up for the adventure through the cruise line we were on. It was a great experience and I am so glad my wife wanted to zip-line.All groups had two guides, one that went first and one that went last to make sure we all made it safely. The 9 different runs we made ranges from a couple hundred feet long to approximately 1000 feet long. Any apprehensions that I may have had were gone after the first run. At least one run was over a stream. Our guides were super which made this experience a life lasting memory. If anyone thinks they might want to try zip-lining but are hesitant to try, my suggestion is go for it, you will really enjoy it.

This was my first time zip lining. But most of my family has zip lined during other vacations and they all agreed that this was their favorite!

We were lucky enough to be paired with Blake & Kameron, who were so much fun & comforting (especially for those of us who had never zip lined before). They were extremely knowledgeable & safety was top priority throughout the 10 lines we went down. But we had tons of fun too. I was riding lines upside down, doing front flips & trust falls (my choice, of course). With safety always being number one, it was easy to trust them when they suggested we could try riding a line in a new and fun way. I would definitely do this again, and would love to see Blake & Kameron again if we do!

I wish I had taken more pictures of the beautiful scenery — it was seriously unreal — and we lucked out with a gorgeous sunny day which it doesn’t sound like they get all the time. But they did offer some fun action shots of us zip lining (available for purchase at the end of the tour)!

Wow! Just wow! So many levels to this zipline adventure. We also got to ride in a mog to get up to the start of our adventure. How cool is that!? The view is incredible. The guides are excellent! Don’t overthink it. Book this. You won’t be disappointed!
