Scenic Alaska and BC Bus Tour
Very scenic bus ride with several stops along the way. We were put on the wrong tour in the morning but tour operator was very accommodating and put us on the right tour in the afternoon. The title of the tour is misleading because the tour bus stopped at the Yukon Territory road sign at the border between BC and the Yukon but never actually drove us into the Yukon.

      The tour was canceled
The tour was canceled. Still waiting for the refund. They called me a few days before saying they didn't have personnel.

      They canceled last minute.
I booked this a few months out. Then as I was boarding the plane to Seattle for my cruse, they called and cancelled the tour. It was too late to book anything else. All other tours were full. Thankfully I got a refund, but It left us with half a day wasted on our cruse. I'm not upset that they cancelled. I'm upset that they cancelled so late that everything else was booked. That really screwed our plans.

Trip spoiled by all the waiting about to start
We were told to arrive 30 minutes before but ended up hanging about for an hour because they didn’t have a driver. Now they must have known this prior to trip because she explained seasonal staff had gone back home. So we hung about waiting for the driver to arrive. The trip itself was okay. Basically lots of scenic stops and a visit to the mushers station which was good.

      Great tour, great company
What a great way to tour the Yukon. We had a brand new jeep that rode really well. The guided tour was spot on! The suspension bridge was awesome and a must do.

      Fun outing - great trip
This was a highlight for our Alaska cruise, the bus drive was great, the driver was fun and knowledgeable, the food was good, the whole experience was awesome. The only thing that I would have wanted was a better sled experience that didn't just go in circles - Still very glad that we did it though - and I definitely suggest it for other visitors!

      Carrot top!
My family had the most amazing trip! Carrot Top (Chris) was amazing! He made this excursion spectacular!! He was so full of information and wonderful stories about the history of Whitehall, Alaska, local tips…everything we wanted! He was so wonderful and caring and really made us feel like we getting a local tour with a dear friend. 10/10 would recommend!

Sightseeing was FANTASTIC! Dog Sledding was good, could be better.
We participated in the "Yukon Discovery & Sled Dog" adventure booked through Southeast Tours. Clay Harper was an awesome guide! He was clear spoken, had interesting facts and stories, was quick to offer his assistance with photos and is just an all-around really nice guy! The bus ride up and back was one of our best Alaskan experiences! So very glad we did it! Didn't hurt that our weather was perfect once we entered Canada!! The dog sledding was ok. It was fun, but we think it should be twice as long a route as it was. It was a simple 10 min ride on a well worn path. The young lady who took us out was upbeat and gave some fun facts and details; but we were left wanting to know some of the mushing commands (i.e. how did the dogs know whether to go right or left at the fork) and more time on the ride. We wish there had been better interaction, maybe some amazing Iditarod stories, an "ambassador" husky, just more to the sled dog experience. For the cost, it felt skimpy. Keep in mind that this is only open in the summer months as a dog training and fitness activity, so there are no sleds. The dogs pulled an open 12 passenger ATV type vehicle. The little wildlife museum was pretty cool. The lunch was quite good. 👍

      Sucks
Bad Description; nothing mentioned stopping and seeing Dog Mushers. When we got there more than 1/2 the bus did a dog much tour that took 1.5 hours (Dogs pulling a 4 wheeler only hold 6 and other tour buses there) leaving us we no time for actual tour and only 45 min (should have been 2 hours). in town at Skagway before I cruise left. Sat in Bus except having 10 min. at photo opps. To top if off, we had to pay $5 each round trip from cruise ship because they told me to meet at office, the tour bus shows up late and is full of cruise ship passengers. Not recommended.

      So much fun!
I couldn’t recommend this trip enough! We had a great time. Eric was our tour guide. He knew so much information about the area, helped us take photos, and had some great jokes. We got lucky and had a beautiful clear sunny day. Saw mountain goats and a bear!!! (Bears are a more rare spot apparently). Anyways, please take this tour! We did the 6 hour one and had a blast. Don’t forget to tip your tour guide!

      Coach adventure tour
Even though the clouds and fog did not clear for most of the way up, the driver did an excellent job of telling us about the history and countryside The time spent at the sites was enough. The chicken lunch was better than expected

Great tour with Pollyanna our driver and guide. She was fun to be with as we made our way around historic Skagway and into the wilderness and across the border into Canada to experience the summit. She may be from Arkansas, but she knows her Skagway and was able to really impart a lot of interesting information and facts.

Easy tour to find in downtown Skagway.
    Highly recommend you make reservations.

Solid bus trip - good, not great. I wish that the instructions didn't say to meet at the office in town because there was a pick up at the port. I don't know that we stopped at all the places that were listed for the tour at the office (for example we didn't see the Skagway Cemetery and one of the falls). I liked all the places that we did stop, but I thought it may be more than just stopping along the highway. Our tour guide was fairly new to the area and it felt like she was reciting a script. I don't know that what we saw was worth the price unfortunately.

WOW - utter WOWNESS!! Our Tour Guide Tim was so knowledgeable and ultra "dad" funny. Even though it was such a dreary sideways rainy windiest of days in Skagway we had just the best time on this tour. There were only 12 of us which I think made it! This tour went all the way up into the Yukon. The scenery was just breathtaking! This tour is a must do! And you can get popcorn!

Eric was a great guide, he shared so much information about the history and daily life of Skagway. We loved his infectious laugh and joy. The trip was interesting without being too long, and we were thankful that we did not book the train (which doesn't stop for photos, by the way). Thank you Eric for a fantastic experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ride up to the Yukon. Finding our bus that morning was easy after disembarking our cruise ship. Our guide was pretty good at narrating along the way. The guide wasn't really engaging nor humorous so our kids were a little bored. (Until we had to explain what the ladies of the gold rush did...) We learned a lot of history about the gold rush era. We also saw a glacier beyond some mountains. It was cool to ride through clouds and not fog. We stopped several times for pictures along the way which made it easier on our kids to get out and run around a bit. This excursion was much nicer to us than the long train ride would have been.

Small buses with large windows to see all the beautiful sights and easy to get on and off to take pictures. Our tour guide was Rob and he shared a lot of fun facts and history with us about Skagway. I highly recommend this tour!

snow and ice around us, great to see the high mountains. Ketchikan is a nice city. after the tour we still had enough time for shopping.

It was a great way to get out of the town and see the surroundings. There was beautiful, rough mountain terrain. Disappointed I didn’t get to see the lake beyond it. Could not always hear the tour guide. Got some nice pictures.
