    What to Expect
Take advantage of your cruise stop in Seward, Alaska, with this informative shore excursion. A shuttle will pick you up in Seward and take you to Kenai Fjords National Park. Board a boat for a nature tour featuring glaciers, fjords, an icefield and abundant nature. Relax as your trip begins with a breakfast of fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls.

This national park was established in 1980 and covers 669,984 acres (271,133 hectares) on the Kenai Peninsula, and is home to the Harding Icefield, one of the largest icefields in the country. Watch in amazement as you pass mammoth, piercing-blue glaciers. Keep an eye out for marine life like killer whales. Learn how to tell the difference between tidewater and alpine glaciers.

Cover 150 miles (241 km) on this spectacular voyage. Take a break from glacier-spotting for a lunch including a chicken Caesar wrap, potato chips, a granola bar, and a fresh-baked chocolate-chip cookie. Then see if you can spot more wildlife, which is abundant in the area. A wildlife guide will help you track what you see. Look for minke whales and harbor porpoises, falcons and arctic loons. And get your binoculars out to search for black bears and mountain goats.

Get a few last photos in with the beautiful natural backdrop and relax as you head back to port, where your shuttle will bring you back to Seward.

Please note: This is a seasonal tour operating from June 6 to September 1.

I had this tour July 2019, the captain’s name is Chris. It was not an ideal day, it was cloudy, even raining at times. But our captain was very knowledgeable with wildlife, and very patient and determined to show us the birds and especially the humpback whale. The crew were also

We booked the longest tour hoping to see more marine life. The wild fires in Alaska recently has caused poor air quality and bad visibility. We were a little disappointed but there wasn’t much we could do. Despite the circumstances, our captain Chris was a great captain and

This seems like the one to take if you want to see a lot. They have shorter cruises and ones that have fancier dining options. The breakfast snack and lunch were small and simple but food was not my priority. The guide and the whole crew were excellent! We saw 2-3 pods of orcas,
