The bus picked up up within the time frame expected. It was comfortable seating and clean. Our driver was funny and the tour guide at the Laura Plantation was a wonderful tour guide. We're very glad we booked with Legendary Tours.

Fantastic trip.The bus picked us up on time and the driver was very informative. The tour around Laura Plantation was led by Lindie, she was amazing, an impassioned historian with a wealth of knowledge about the property and its past inhabitants. I learnt alot and would highly recommend this plantation tour.

I paid for 3 plantation houses but we visit 2 places.. they are selling tour tickets for 3 entries! Nobody call me about that situation from Trip Advisor!

Just a wonderful tour. Very informative and moving to learn about the plantations and to also learn about the enslaved people. Definitely worth the price and a day well spent learning about our country's not so wonderful history.

If you don’t have a car or just don’t want to drive, we recommend this option. Our driver, Edward, was friendly, a good driver, and informative. His commentary on the way out was interesting and fun. Our tour guide at the plantation, Krystyn, was also excellent, both passionate and informed. All the staff we met were helpful and willing to answer questions about the plantation.

This was a great tour for that our family enjoyed. Tour guide was great and kept everyone interested with facts about each site as well as the history of the city

Highly recommend if you like history. Not only beautiful but informative. The driver we had did a fantastic job dodging traffic jams, knew what and where he was going! 10/10

Our guide at Laura Plantation was excellent. Joseph's knowledge of the history of the plantation paired with his delivery made for an entertaining and informative morning. We left the tour wanting to learn even more about the lives of the individuals on this particular plantation.

I booked this tour neve received confirmation until 15 minutes before the tour. I ended up booking another tour. They would not refund my money because they said i had given them the wrong email. They had my cell they could have confirmed. I'm very disappointed 😞. I had to pay twice for a tour . Not good business

Very insightful self guided tour of Whitney Plantation. I love that this plantation specifically focuses on the lives and testimonies of the actual slaves and not just their masters. The information is powerful and so very sad but also enlightening at the same time. Our bus diver Edward did an excellent job of telling us about the landmarks an history of New Orleans and Louisiana during our drive to the plantation. Also appreciated that he stopped along the road to let us take pictures of the other plantations as well. I’m not usually into self guided tours, but this one was extremely well organized, and Legendary Tours did a great job.

Legendary Tours was great. They had availability when other tours did not. I called and spoke to a staff member who was very helpful. She discussed the different tours, then would have changed which tour I had registered for over the phone. The driver picked me up on time. He was informative and friendly during the drive, but not excessively talkative, just the perfect amount. He pointed out sites and gave history as we passed them. The bus was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We arrived early in the day, so we had one of the earliest tours. There were only 5 people in my tour, with me included. The tour that was starting as we finished had about 25 participants. So getting into the early tour was nice. We had plenty of time to tour the property. I could have easily picked up some food to go, but I didn’t need to eat there. There probably wasn’t enough time to sit and eat at the restaurant with a waiter, but that didn’t seem necessary. I do wish I had done the Whitney tour. I opted to do the Oak Alley tour because of the availability to get food (I was traveling later that day), but I didn’t need it, and there were no grab and go vegetarian options. The big house tour does focus on the owners. Growing up in the North, it’s hard to reconcile wealth and owning other people. I did appreciate the fact that the last owner realized her role in history and donated the house. But out of my conscientious objection, I did not take any pictures of the house, just of the slave quarters. There is a self guided tour of the slave quarters. There was also a guided tour of that area, but the time conflicted with my scheduled big house tour. So, from my perspective, if I were doing this over, I would absolutely use Legendary Tours as my choice for transportation, but I would recommend going to Whitney (which gives much more of the slave perspective, but is only self-guided) instead of Oak Alley. Legendary Tours is definitely the company to choose. Thank you.

We took the tour of the Oak Alley Plantation. The plantation visit was very good, but the trip to the plantation was great. We had a funny and informative driver. He was on time and on point. He gave you enough information to be interesting, but not so many details you lost track. I would use the company again.

Edward with Legacy Tours was amazing. He shared a lot of information. He made the trip to the plantation fun and informative. Logan was our guide at the Laura Plantation. He was one of the best Guide’s I have experienced. I would highly recommend both.
