We had a fun time with Lucy and her mule Ginger. It was funny, educational, and charming way to tour the FQ. With so many unexpected street closures both Lucy and Ginger had to re-route us as necessary but that did not affect what we saw and what she shared. Lucy has a real talent to make this trip entertaining and would be a great addition to any itinerary. My tip is to go as early in the day as possible due to N.O. temperatures.

Lucy was a phenomenal tour guide! We went with our daughter (4) and it was like having an aunt around, she was so nice. Lucy’s knowledge of the city gave us great ideas and she told us about deals and discounts we could use during our visit. We highly recommend that you take a carriage ride and take it early!

I would highly recommend this tour for anyone young and old, first visit or not to learn more about the history, music and foods of the NOLA. Marty was the best tour guide. He was engaging, knowledgeable and very entertaining. Young adults would get a great history lesson that goes way beyond what the history books could provide. Fiona the mule and the star of the tour did not disappoint. Our first tour was rescheduled due to the heat advisory for the animals. Loved that this is taken into consideration for the animals. Marty's guided tour made us appreciate New Orleans in a whole new light and had us venture out afterwards to explore more and a lot more that the city has to offer. It is a tour, especially with Marty, well worth booking. FYI-I am a recently retired teacher/educator from North Carolina.

My first carriage ride was a perfect experience. The instructions provided when I booked were right on. The boarding was orderly & timely. The driver, Jonathan, was very entertaining. He was knowledgeable about the city's history, engaged everyone in conversation, answered questions and even circled back a block when someone missed something. The true credit goes to Big Bertha! With out her the carriage would not have gone anywhere. She is a beautiful animal that you can tell is well cared for.

Tour guide Jonathan was well versed and well educated about the city and neighborhoods. He knew his audience (the riders) and related the history and storytelling to their own hometowns (California and Virginia on this trip). He was a master storyteller, teaching us all so much about French Quarter, Marigny, and New Orleans history as a whole. His mule, Big Bertha, was new at this job, and he handled her with grace and dignity.

We took a midday/midweek tour with Mark and Cole (the mule). The tour was informative and fun. Cole did an excellent job navigating the streets of the French Quarter and Mark did a good job shifting the route due to construction and deliveries while providing detailed and entertaining information. The tour was a highlight of the time spent in the Big Easy for a family of four.

We were the first riders of the day with Mark and his wonderful mule, Cole. Mark was a great driver giving us extensive information of the history of the Quarter and was really wowed about the info on the how and why the dyke failed and where it was. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thanks Mark and Cole for a great ride and lesson.

This tour provided us with a great overview of the French Quarter and NOLA in general. Our tour guide shared very interesting little known insights on the city and also answered our questions. If you are just visiting New Orleans for a couple of days, this is a great way to get introduced to the place.

Our carriage driver, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and was excellent at conveying fun facts about local history, architecture, etc. He was enthusiastic and it seemed to us that he enjoys his job and working with the mules used by the company. Our mule, Chicory, was very well trained and we felt safe with her. When we were around noisy construction equipment, Jonathan was able to keep her calm though it did seem she was a bit skittish, which was understandable. We would use this company again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Matt and Armstrong. Matt told us about the city's history, famous citizens, and the architecture of both the French Quarter and Marigny. We were lucky that we did the tour on our first evening in the city since our trip was shortened due to Ida. We feel that we were able to see many of the high points in our short time there. We would highly recommend Matt (and Armstrong) and encourage everyone who travels to New Orleans to take a carriage ride, and to do the hour tour!

Since we did not have to reschedule that was not really a question that we asked. So I would recommend reaching out to them they are a great company and very good at communication.
