Do this on your first day. Worth it!
This was the best tour of New Orleans. We learned a lot on this tour. It goes over most of the city and you can get off and on all day. Definitely worth the money.

Garden District walking tour with Buddy was very informative. He and his wife are both tour guides who live in NOLA. His love and pride of the city shows very well. Knowledgeable, courteous, humorous!!

Craig and Paula were on a roll!
Feb 2020 • Couples
My wife Suzanne and I had a great day getting a guided tour of New Orleans. Craig did a great job of sharing his insight and knowledge about the area while Paula got us through some tight fixes moving that bus like it was a trike. Craig added very reasonable and funny humor to his descriptions of historical and other landmarks. We didn't even mind how many times he mentioned New Jersey. We're very glad to have this ride, a paddle wheel boat river cruise and the world War II museum as part of our package. Thank you so much Craig, Paula and Hop-on/Hop-off bus tours. This was our third city, including Toronto and Washington, DC, using your services.

Excellent way to get around the city! I recommend buying this package!
Feb 2020
Our first day we stopped at the Garden District for our tour. Buddy was a tour guide and he was fantastic. Great knowledge of the area because he lived there! He took us all over the District. Great tour!
The second day we went on the French Quarter tour with our tour guide named Sparkle. Sadly both myself and my friend were sadly disappointed in this tour. Sparkle know her stuff but she walked with a cane and we did not travel to see The French Quarter at all. We had a great tour of Jackson Square and all the history around it but that was it. She made up for it by taking us into a hotel courtyard. That was a treat and it was Beautiful.
The Hop On Hop Off bus was great! Each time we were on the bus the tour guide was awesome and full of lots of knowledge. Always timely. All those working on the bus were nice and polite.
Always Tip Your Guides!!!

A great and practical tour
Dec 2019 • Couples
We usually go on one of these tours first wherever city we go. It gives a good overview.
We used the pass 2 days and did the French Quarter walking tour with Tess . She was very knowledgeable about all the places and the interesting history.
The guides on the buses are fantastic and also good fun with their anecdotes .
We think this is a must for any visitor to learn a fair bit about a place and also familiarise themselves with a place.

Great Informative Tour!
Nov 2019
First off, Zelda was our guide and was wonderful. Incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the city, a wonderful guide and advocate for New Oreleans. So glad that we took the tour in the beginning of the trip. I'd recommend doing this to get a primer and see the different areas, get the lay of the land, and a good idea of the things you'd like to see closer up. Great work Zelda, Mary, and the whole team!!

Hop on Hop Off and St. Louis #1 Cemetery Tour
Oct 2019
We bought the Hop on Hop Off tour with intentions to stop off at Lafayette Cemetery but found out on the bus that it was closed. We just stayed on the bus for the complete circle tour. Our guide was okay. He was quite hard to understand but did have some interesting facts to share. The lady driver rocked, trying to maneuver around those streets because of the closures due to the hotel collapse the day before.

We got off where we started and was able to catch the last walking tour of St. Louis #1 Cemetery Tour which is right next door. I believe our guide's name was Odell, and she was fantastic. She gave a great tour and for me, this was the highlight of our quick trip. She was very knowledgeable and wasn't "gimmicky" like some of the other tour guides we saw taking groups through. I was fascinated by her stories.

Side note, parents, if your kids are bored by these types of things, which we had on our tour, it's understandable, but please pull them out of the way. We had one kid who just wanted to play on his phone but right in the center of things. Trying to take pictures around him was a little difficult. Just use some common courtesy/sense. It's a tight space to maneuver groups around.

I averaged the stars. Hop On/Off about a 3, but the Cemetery tour a 5
