Raffle the Best Tour Guide Ever!!
The best tour I have ever been on! Raffle was absolutely amazing! I picked this tour based on reviews and it did not disappoint! Raffle was so entertaining and knowledgeable. We were a small tour of 4 people and I did not want it to end. I would have hung out with Raffle all night, I loved his stories. I was shocked to learn of all the history and culture NOLA holds. I recommend taking this tour your first night in NOLA because Raffle will give you great restaurant recommendations and tell you about activities in the area. I wish I had one more day to try all the places he told us about. 10/10

No ghost hunting on the ghost tour.
This tour is not what is advertised or what was explained to me over the phone when I called and asked about it. And - not even how the guide explained it. Save your money. First we were 15 minutes late to leave the meeting point even though the bus was parked there, the guide and driver was there and everyone was checked in. The bus smelled like mold, the air conditioner didn’t work properly (bus was warm), and I really think they need to check the suspension or the driver shouldn’t hit potholes going 30plus mph. On the bus the guide explains that “this tour is not like the history tour of this plantation. You can take that during the day. We will be ghost hunting and talking about ghosts”. But, we got a history tour with long stops in each room, just standing listening to the guide. The ghost hunting part - she had a sensor she would put on a piece of furniture that would occasionally light up if a spirit was there. Not spooky, boring. After the history lesson of the house we went outside and to the kitchen. She finally pulled out the dousing rods and told us how to use them. We went ghost hunting outside in the heat for 15 minutes until heading back to the bus. When I called and asked about the tour the company told me we (the people) were going to use the equipment in the house. Nope! Very disappointing and upset. Also the guide kept us in the gift shop for quite a while before the tour. I thought that was cheesy. So no using the ghost equipment in the house and only 15 minutes outside. I wish I could rate this tour a zero.

      Beautiful Plantation
Pros: The plantation is beautiful in the daylight and possibly even more beautiful after dark. There’s a gift shop on site that offered a ton of different stuff. Our guide, Trish, was really funny and accommodating. Cons: the meeting place for the tour- Voodoo Tavern- just left me with a bad vibe. We first arrived there around 5:15ish thinking we would eat there since we were supposed to meet the guide there at 6:30. When we walked in, it was mostly empty with several locals sitting around partaking in some…herb.. ha. I don’t care at all about that, but it just left me with an odd feeling. Added to that was the fact that this place is on the outskirts of the quarter. I may be totally ridiculous, but it just didn’t feel safe. I was dreading getting dropped back there after dark. I will say though that when we came back at 6:30, the tavern had a totally different vibe. There were several customers in there and it just felt more welcoming. I ordered a drink for the bus ride to the plantation and it was good.

Unique, terrifying, and so much fun!
This was a MUST for our NOLA trip and Henry (our bus driver and guide) was hilarious and so knowledgeable! The cemetery at night was an insane experience and the proof of paranormal was hard to deny. Only giving it 4 stars because I didn’t like the focus on trying to get pictures. It took away from the focus on the experience since the tour guide will tell you over and over again to just try and get pictures of a ghost. Must do/see in NOLA.

Perfect Overview of the French Quarter - Do this early in your Trip!
Raffle was an amazing guide!!! This was such a fun and laid back tour with a TON of information. Great drinks, tried some absinthe for the first time, and just amazing vibes all around!! Our group got some fantastic food after it and I used the other recommendations to come back to later after the tour.

      Fun tour of Nola!
The tour guide was amazing! He had so much knowledge about the area and, as a life-long resident of New Orleans, had awesome stories to share. It was a great experience - highly recommend!

Haunted Plantation Tour with Nola Ghostriders!
Haunted Plantation Tour with Nola Ghostriders! Went on the Destrehan Plantation tour with Nola Ghostriders. and it's an immersive journey through Louisiana's haunted history! From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is thick with anticipation. Our tour guide was Trish, who's a history buff with a knack for storytelling, she brings history to life with ghostly tales of the plantation's past residents. But the fun doesn't stop there – you'll even get to use dousing rods to chat with spirits! It's a perfect blend of history and hauntings, with a respectful approach to the supernatural. Loved it!

      Excellent tour
We have been on many NOLA tours over the last 15 years and the walking haunted history tour was the best. I'm not sure of our guides' name (gentleman around 52, shaved bald with glasses). He said he was from the area and had lots of personal connections to the city which made it entertaining. We had a much needed stop at LaFitte's Blacksmith Bar. The people he spoke about with such great detail. An amazing storyteller. He was funny, serious and sincere at all the right moments. Would definitely come back with friends and family

      David was GREAT
The whole group from teenagers to adults has a great time! David was an excellent/entertaining guide. The weather was uncooperative with periods of heavy rain, but we were able to make the best of it. Charity Cemetery has a interesting history.

Very informative and entertaining. We toured the French Quarter but also learned about New Orleans in general. The tour lasted 2 hours and included some recommended restaurants and places to shop.

Was excited for the format of this attraction and its advertised venues. Having traipsed around several cities on history and ghost tours, the concept of riding to places a normal walking tour wouldn’t get you to sounded like a great idea. Our driver/tourguide depended a great deal on the schlocky scareum routine vs letting the stories tell themselves. In fact, it didn’t seem as if he had an informed script to work from at all. Understood that many places on the itinerary were cemeteries that you likely were not allowed into at night, but they deserve better than a pullup to the gate and a line like, “you know there’s dead people in there and most of them are ghosts….whooooooo.” You get out at a couple stops, most notably at the Katrina memorial site/grave, and you’re handed an emf meter and/or dowsing rods to hunt your own ghosts. That’s sort of a cute schtick, but you aren’t told what to do or expect with them beyond the very basics, and this feature could set this tour above others if it was better done. Another stop is one of those brazen drop-offs at an isolated bar (“ooooh, they say it’s haunted…) so you buy a drink from them.

I like the idea of a bus to cart you around, and I like the idea of telling folks they can BYOB, but the story-telling and execution of the site visits really needs to be improved.

Please if you’re reading this review and looking for an interesting and insightful tour, do not waste your time and money on this ridiculous excuse of a tour.

Our guide Brandon clearly had little or no knowledge of the genuine history of the city of the dead. Instead we were fed sensationalised nonsense, which even with my limited knowledge of NOLA history, I know to be factually inaccurate.

We spent longer in the bar than in the cemetery and topped off with the use of ‘devices’ that made a mockery of spiritualism.

If you’re looking for a laugh at the expense of disrespecting the dead then go for it, but if you have any desire to receive correct or interesting information then do not insult your intelligence and book this tour. I’m embarrassed I did.

We were very excited for this tour and the reviews were great. A group of us (strangers) were waiting for the bus to arrive at 5pm. The driver walked up, asked our names, gruffly said, "Bus is that way" and flung her arm in the direction we were supposed to go to find the bus. The entire group talked about her not so friendly attitude as we aimlessly walked to find the bus.
As we drove to the first stop everyone sat in silence. The driver didn't say anything until we were out of the city. When we arrived at the Mason's cemetery we were specifically told not to take alcohol in with us. Not a problem. I found it odd though that the tour guide could vape in the cemetery and at the Katrina memorial. After the Mason's cemetery we stopped for drinks and beignets and stayed there 20 minutes. We then went to the Katrina memorial. After that we drove back to the city.
The tour itinerary listed City Park as part of the tour. We were not taken to that location. So, we paid for 1 cemetery, 1 stop for food, and the Katrina memorial. Very disappointing experience and not a very nice tour guide.

We came to New Orleans as a family. A group of 14 to celebrate a birthday and this is our last night here. We have had a lovely time in this hospitable city. This tour was our last planned event. What could've been a great experience was ruined by our tour guy - Kendall. He was aggresive, rude and confrontational. One of the member of our group was not feeling well and he on his own accord gave another member of our group the key to the bus. On our exit when we were trying to tip him and he became increasingly insulting and confrontational while displaying a firearm on his hip. The argument kept getting elevated because he felt disrespected by not getting the key ball on time. The tour operators had to come out to break up the argument. It was a terrible experience.. save your money if KENDALL is your type guide... the guy is unhinged!

Fernando was an amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable about the city, was personable and funny, and made sure we were learning actual facts and history as well as ghost stories. Definitely a natural story teller and he kept our family (with very picky teenagers) entertained and informed the entire time. Had an amazing experience at the Katrina Memorial with the spirit sticks Fernando allows you to borrow to talk to spirits. Will definitely be doing again the next time we come to New Orleans!

Such a disappointment. Don’t be fooled by the false advertising. The children’s hospital cemetery became private and they are not allowed in. Instead they take you to a Masonic cemetery, very well lit and boring, and to the Katrina memorial. While sad and poignant, not what I paid for. And then the bus driver tells an hour plus of clearly made up ghost stories. Oh and there is a 30 minute stop in the middle of a two hour tour so people can buy beignets and use the bathroom. This was a joke. We were so looking forward to a fun night 😠

Steven was a great driver and very funny, informative, and entertaining. We had a great time walking around the masonic cemetary and learning about their mausoleums. We had beignets at the morning call Cafe and talked to spirits on the emf recorder and dowsing rods in the charity memorial cemetary. It was a touching experience I will never forget. 10/10 would do again🙂

This was a huge waste of money. The female tour guide at the beginning was cussing at the other employees. Then the bus driver was blaring rap music in the bus and you couldn't hear the person sitting next to you. He was also texting while driving. You visit two cemeteries while on the tour and they have you download an app on your phone for ghost hunting. There are a lot better ghost tours with a lot more professional staff and a lot cheaper in New Orleans.
