I absolutely loved the tour! It’s a great way to see the city and meet cool people from all over while trying really cool drinks from bars/pubs that the locals frequent. Candy and Tyler were great and Candy really makes it feel like a group of friends going out on a fun night. She is a local drummer who has Hailey Williams red hair and knows her resident ghosts and lore. I would recommend bringing cash because one bar is cash only and for tipping your bartenders. Unfortunately it’s started pouring during the tour, but no one can control the weather. One thing I would have liked to see was an introduction to everyone at the start of the tour, but I get that there is a bit of a time crunch. Would 100% recommend.

One of the best parts of our recent trip to New Orleans was the pub crawl ghost tour. The tour provided a great exploration of the French quarter with a few few bar stops along the way. I could not have been more impressed by our guide Coby. He was super informative and captivated the audience with his presentation. Coby even provided our group some insight of where the best bars are located and made our ghost experience extremely memorable. I highly recommend Coby for the tour!

Guide: Lauren
My friends booked this tour for my bachelorette party this past weekend and it was AWESOME!! Lauren is such a wonderful story teller. She made everything just perfectly scary and so fun. She did a great job reeling people in who were kind of distracting but also kept doing her thing. She told us so much of her own experiences & it added to the stories. I loved the bars we went to (two were cash only though so bring cash!) and the ending location was perfect for what we wanted to do! BOOK THIS!

The tour guide was great. Really nice, knowledgeable, and kept everyone moving from one place to another. However our group was just to large. We really couldn’t hear the guide during the stories because of how large the group was. We overwhelmed the bars we went to and couldn’t get a drink at some. Most of the experience was waiting in line for drinks or pretending to hear the guide when they stopped for stories. This might have been fun on a tour with less people.

The description of this tour states "we make sure to stop by the best haunted bar locations in the city." Unfortunately, we only stopped at one "haunted bar" .After the tour started, our guide, DJ, told us we'd only be going to dive bars. The large size of our group, (25) made it hard to hear the tour guide at many stops along the way
My only interaction with DJ was at the starting point when he came out with a tray with small sample cups on it and announced we be doing shots. I asked what was in the cups and his loud response was, "I call it beggars can't be choosers." I was embarrassed. It wasn't necessary for him to be so rude and.as the tour went on, I could see this was his general personality. After that, I didn't interact with him at all. He made crude jokes about Michael Jackson, the Catholic church, and Bill Cosby, none of which had anything to do with the tour. He ranted about Airbnb which he blames for his inability to purchase a home. I ended up leaving him a tip because he was hovering over everyone at the end of the tour until they paid him.
Skip this tour, take a regular ghost tour, and have a cocktail on your way back to your hotel.

I really hate to give this a 2 stars, but that’s where we are. Our guide Coby seemed like he was going to be informing us on spooky information about each stop, but instead he filled that time with a lot of theatrics. I’m sure he’s a great guy, but I was very frustrated. We didn’t really get any real story of some of the locations, it was more 1 or two sentences, before he got off track. He kept changing the conversation. His storytelling needs to be a little more fine tuned and direct, would have appreciated a 80/20 split of storytelling and fun theatrics, but his was more 20% story and 80% theatrics. Not to mention his vocal cadence was up and down so many times it was hard to discern what he was saying sometimes. I really didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I have to be honest. I’m sure the tour is great, and Covy is a great guy, I don’t want this to be an attack, but, it was disappointing.

The tour was very informative and a great way to get some history of this fascinating city. The stop at the absinthe bar was a bonus - absinthe is something I'd heard about, but had never considered trying (the absinthe tea was surprisingly good!). Our guide was great about keeping our group together, and was able to project her voice loud enough for us to hear when the multitude of other groups passed by. 👍🏻
Sadly, we did not visit Lalaurie Mansion, even though that was listed in the itinerary.

I LOVED THIS! A group of us went to celebrate my 25th birthday. Our tour guide, DJ, was extremely knowledgeable and his comedic timing was on point. We learned so much. He is an extremely fast talker, so you have to listen closely, but I loved that he gave true history without any bias. I recommend this tour and the bars we stopped at were great. We stopped at 4 or 5 bars I think. If you’re in the area, I recommend this tour!

We went to NOLA for my friends Bachelorette trip. While there, we went on The Haunted Pub Crawl. DJ was our tour guide and let me just say, he was AWESOME! Very entertaining, super engaging, hilarious, and immensely knowledgeable! We passed by other tour groups, heard those guides talking and realized how lucky we were to be in DJs group! Other tours seemed “corny”, but not ours at all. We learned a ton of history about the French Quarter in New Orleans. DJ also told us the best drinks to get when we stopped at each bar, and he taught us the etiquette for bar hopping on a tour - which was great with helping us not look like fools haha. We cannot recommend this tour enough, and hopefully you’ll be lucky and get DJ as your guide!

Definitely not what I expected from reading about the tours, but I guess I should’ve read the reviews first. In Texas, pub crawls come with the peddling bike, so I did not expect to walk the whole time. When they mention drink specials, the bartenders have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. You’re paying full price for everything you get, so no drink specials, and honestly the bars specialty drinks we went to were terrible.
The best part about the tour were the stories and our guide. So if you’re looking for that kinda of crawl and not a drinking crawl, this is your tour! If you’re looking to drink, I’d recommend you keep looking for something better.

Can you bring a child under 2 years old on this tour?

Seeing as it's a bar tour(you only visit 2 bars and only briefly, a few minutes at best. You start at one by the water) I wouldn't advise it. It's kind of an adults-only type of tour.

It says that you must be 21 to do the tour. I'm going to visit NOLA with my 20 year-old daughter next week. Do they check ID at the start of the tour? Could my daughter go on the tour and just not have any cocktails? I hate to pay for it only to find out that she cannot go. Thanks in advance!

I'm going to New Orleans in May and thinking of doing this pub crawl tour. Can anyone tell me how many pubs this tour stops at and which ones ? Also, the misses isn't too fond of scary stuff... I on the other hand love this stuff. Is this tour really scary ? I don't want to be in the doghouse with the wife. LOL
Thanks.
This tour stops at four bars. It starts at Tujagues, then you go to Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar, then Molly’s on the Market, and you end at the Old Absinthe House. You get a free drink at Tujagues, and The guides will recommend signature cocktails at the other bars but you’re footing the bill so get whatever you want! The tour itself was not scary other than some spooky stories shared about Madame Lalaurie when you visit by her mansion. No one jumps out at you or anything, so it’s very chill. It it a great way to learn about the city while also drinking lol

In the description it says grab your included cocktail, but in the inclusions it says 'alcoholic beverages'. Is only the first drink included or are all of them included? Thanks in advance!

We got a complimentary drink at the bar where we met! Our tour guide suggested drinks for us to purchase at the rest of the bars we went to.
