Wander New Orleans’ famed French Quarter on this guided walking tour that includes stops at landmarks and locations such as Jackson Square, the French Market, and Cafe du Monde, plus visit the above-ground tombs of the historic St Louis No. 1 Cemetery. Along the way, your guide offers background on some of the city’s famous former residents, including voodoo priestess Marie Laveau.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in the center of the French Quarter at The Chartres House at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
Once the tour starts, you explore the popular New Orleans neighborhood, founded in 1718, and its prominent landmarks, structures, shops, and locales, such as Jackson Square, the Cabildo (a Spanish colonial building that houses historical artifacts), the French Market, Cafe du Monde, the Presbytere, and more.
Throughout the tour, hear about the city’s colorful tales, as well as its roots as an 18th-century French colony. Plus, stroll through St. Louis No. 1 cemetery, which is the final resting place of the city's renowned voodoo priestess Marie Laveau.

Informative and Entertaining Tour

Graham Cooper was amazing as our tour guide!! If you have the chance to do this activity while visiting New Orleans I highly recommend this tour!!
