We had so much fun with Captain Brad! I am so glad I chose the hotel pickup option, as it would have been a long (and expensive) Uber ride. Plus when you arrived at the swamp there were signs posted about how challenging Ubers are to come by, which makes sense when you see your surroundings. The large airboat was a great time - those boats are fast! I was worried about it feeling crowded, but Brad was able to answer everyone's questions throughout the day and it didn't feel like too big a crowd. We were able to hold a baby alligator and even "pet" a 10 footer in the wild. I was so impressed with Brad's knowledge and clear passion for the animals, swamp, and environment. He did a great job explaining everything from the history of the area to how to handle wild alligators, and in between. I would 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone!

Overall: Well worth the money, and really enjoyed the experience, even during the winter!

Friendly customer service that picked us up at our Airbnb and drove to the swamp for the tour where we got our tickets and boarded the ride. The tour itself was around 45 minutes on the boat and we learned a lot about gators and swamp.

Make sure you have cash to tip everyone, and rent the blanket if it in the 60s or lower, you won't regret it.

We were picked up from our hotel and rode a comfortable mini bus. Keith, our driver, was pleasant and witty. He drove us to Louisiana Tour Company’s airboat dock. There we boarded and met Danny, our tour guide and swamp expert :-) Danny excelled at maneuvering the airboat, sometimes at high speed, and scoped out all the wildlife for us to see. Then he went above and beyond by stopping to feed marshmallows to one big gator and his smaller gator buddy who got to come up on the boat to greet us. Danny was incredibly knowledgeable and funny, and yet professional all while keeping us safe. This was a fun and fascinating experience. We highly recommend it.

Our trip was amazing. We were lucky to have good weather but it would have been a great swap tour no matter what. Our captain was very knowledgeable, entertaining and was able to show us so much. He did a great job of showing us around a place that he clearly loves.

The hotel pick-up was very easy and convenient. We had a great driver who gave some tips on the bus system in the city and was very personable and kind.

I definitely recommend this tour!

Captain Jason provided a really compelling and multi-faceted window into the ecosystem of the bayous, swamps, and marshes. He was captivating in his descriptions of the damages brought about by Hurricane Ida and the threats facing this delicate ecosystem. Highly recommended for those looking to not just see alligators (which the tour was packed full of), but to see the bigger picture.

We were lucky enough to get Captain Jason and he was fabulous! He gave us some really good insight into what is currently happening to the swamps in LA and is clearly very passionate about the swamps and the environment. We saw some alligators and had a great time on the airboat.

I've done the boat tour before (with a different company) and the airboat is much better. Faster (not super fast but definitely not as slow as the as the boat) and I feel like you get into places that the larger boat cannot.

Do it (and ask for Jason if you can!).

Jason was a great guide: very knowledge and fun. You could hear the passion in his voice during the entire tour. My favorite moments included seeing a bald eagle, holding the baby gator, the boat speed, and learning all the different areas in the swamp

Hands down the best tour. Getting out of the city was needed and getting to ride on an airboat was exhilarating. We learned about the swamps, alligators, and the dabage caused by ida. Our captain was hilarious until a rubber snake was thrown at us… F!

Thanks Captain Joe for a fun experience

This was a highlight of our trip. A total blast, beautifully scenic, & a good couple hours of bliss! Matt was goofy and he shared a lot about the swamp and it's inhabitants. There is something special about cruising on a powerful airboat through the wetlands of Louisiana. An absolute dream come true! I recommend renting blankets & wearing a wind breaker if you run cold bc these bad bois go fast and you get a little wet..
P.S. Wear glasses if you can.
