Having pick up at our hotel made this tour experience really easy. The airboat was small enough that everyone got a very personal experience even getting to hold a baby alligator. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. We had a group of ranging in age from 20’s to 60’s and everyone loved it. They have nice restrooms and a little shop you can use before and after your ride. I highly recommend it. The small airboat is well worth the extra cost.

Booked the airboat with taxi service. The bus could use some updates for the ride was very loud and squeaky because the overhead wasn't attached well. The morning we were to go was really wet, it poured. They gave us the choice of a refund or partial refund to go on the pontoon. We choose the pontoon since we were already on our way. It was cold but enjoyable. The guide was funny and nice. We got to hold a baby alligator, so that was neat. Would recommend.

After waiting three years for this adventure having cancelled due to Covid, this was honestly worth the wait. From the original (regrettable) cancellation to this recent booking, this company has been professional, responsible and committed to giving us a wonderful experience. I was surprised at the length and variety of our tour. Our phenomenal captain Justin was engaging and exceptionally knowledgeable about this fascinating environment and its inhabitants...as well as being quite fond of speeding across open areas which was hilarious!! Thankyou for making this trip so unforgettable and for making it so hassle-free for those of us visiting from far and wide!

I would recommended this to any and all of my friends.
I thought the hotel pickup was a bit disorganized but once we were at the location and hopped on an air boat, our guide Matt was amazing.
It was clear he was passionate about his job and what he was talking to us about. Matt made the trip enjoyable for all 9 of us on the boat and made the enjoyment of gators and wildlife in the swamp something to cherish.

I wish we could give this tour 6 stars! It was terrific. We were picked up promptly at our hotel, and dropped off to where the airboats are docked. Then the real fun began. Our guide’s name was Dewey and he provided an outstanding swamp, alligator and local wildlife experience including producing a one year old alligator baby for us to hold! We will absolutely do this again and highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time on the small group, airboat tour. From arranging pick-up to the execution of transportation to the tour itself, this is at once an extremely well-oiled machine, without feeling at all impersonal.
Our guide was knowledgable in a way that was learned, rather than studied and had great insight on the landscape, history and future of the bayou. We did see a gator, despite it being cold and overcast, but the highlight of the trip were the surroundings - being shown a strange and beautiful space that is disappearing.

The tour was absolutely amazing as was our guide who brought us close with numerous wildlife and most importantly, gators! Would go again and again! The boat ride itself was also pretty thrilling with varying speeds, splashes, and terrain navigation. We highly recommend!

Captain Danny was awesome! He did a great job mixing some thrilling full-on 'Airboat' moments in with a nice cruise down the bayou.
He had great knowledge of the local alligators & habitat, along with historical facts of how the area was impacted and changed from Katrina.
Highly Recommend taking the ride of your life. However, the cruise boat may be more ideal, if you have any existing back problems.

This was the best tour! I've done one previously (different company) but this one was more informative. We arranged for the 12:10pm tour. Our pick up time was 10:20-10:50 (included in your tour price). Transportation was on time and took about a 1/2 hour for us to get to the docks, after we finished picking up others. We arrived around 11:10am, we waited around for a little so please be patient, while the staff has lunch. Our group of 7 was on a boat total of 10, including Rocky our driver. We did not request Rocky but we were thrilled with his version of the tour. So, if you want to request the "dry version", ask for anyone other than Rocky. He gave us the complete tour - we were 90% drenched, so wear the appropriate clothing and leave the wallet at home (my husbands is still drying out - lol). Rocky's version of the tour truly was all encompassing and we loved every minute of it! The other 5 boats did not get wet at all...that I know of.

This tour is a must for anyone traveling to New Orleans. Captain Brad was our guide and not only was he extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but he made the trip so fun and entertaining. We laughed so much and we learned so much. Captain Brad is a native of the area and has the most entertaining, unbelievable stories to share. The guides have names for the gators and we loved getting to meet "Michael Jackson" - who would close his eyes when Captain Brad would pat his head. The baby gators he let us hold were adorable. We loved the experience and recommend it highly to everyone.

No one was drinking on our tour. The boats go pretty fast and you need to hang on so I do not think it would be in your best interest to drink.

Guessing it goes pretty fast at points? but 200 mph?? seems unlikely, haha
does the boat bounce you around a lot?
Janine W

Hi. Definitely not 200 mphs! I didn’t feel like we were going too fast - maybe 60? You bounce a little but definitely get wet and cold; you may want to get a blanket which you can rent for $10 before you head out to the swamps. Hope that helps
