- andrealH3977WC0 contributionsInteresting and EngagingThe tour was interesting and entertaining. It was a perfect way to learn about a lot of the French Quarter lore while also experiencing the Quarter. It also inspired us to continue researching French Quarter history. So interesting!Written January 17, 2025
- D8502QSstephens0 contributionsFun walk through the haunts of New OrleansFun and informative walking tour through the haunts of the French Quarter. Our guide was a great storyteller while keeping it "real" when distinguishing between fact and legend.Written January 15, 2025
- Sheila S0 contributionsInteresting and fun!The Tour was a lot of fun. Our guide was full of information and was entertaining. Very personable. We loved the Tour! So much history and really interesting stories about murder, ghosts and vampires. I was so interested, that I went online read more about what the guide told us. The Tour starts out at the Voodoo Lounge where you check in. You can buy drinks. The " specialty for 1 drink is a rum and red kind of juice syrupy drink which I thought gross, but that's just me. The others seemed to like it. The Tour is a great value and had a fun time.Written January 14, 2025
- E5545TAdavidh0 contributionsAmazing (and spooky) experience! This tour was everything we wanted and more! The stories were a great mix of history, humor, culture, and horror. The Voodoo Lounge was nice vibe with delicious hurricanes to get our tour started off. As for our guide, I can't say enough good things about Brion! He was a phenomenal story teller, with both a deep knowledge of the area and hysterical flourishes to his tales, Brion really enhanced the whole experience. And if you're looking for a little gore and a some spooky history, this tour has everything you want (some of the non-paranormal humans in these stories were even scarier than the haunted spirits they preceded). Thanks for a wonderful tour!Written January 12, 2025

Our guide Justin was a lot of fun, entertaining, and kept us all engaged! I would definitely recommend this tour as an alternative to your typical Quarter tour. Every city has a reputation, and it's refreshing to learn about the not-so-popular history of what is really at the core of a city's beginning. Justin didn't hold anything back, and it was interesting to hear about Storyville's start, the world's oldest profession really becoming quite a booming business, and the rough conditions for those in that profession.
Justin also recommended a great spot for breakfast that we passed on the tour, and we were able to stop in before we left town. Thanks, Justin!

Daniel was so knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and very theatrical and entertaining in his delivery. LOVED this tour!!! We had done the Ghost and Vampires tour the night before (which was also excellent) and feared there might be overlap. There wasn't. This was a first rate tour that I would highly recommend.

We had taken the Saints and Sinners Tour as a part of the Go City Pass. We met at a shady bar and waited for the guru of knowledge, Justin. He interjected personal tidbits and was excited because he was allowed to curse on the tour. On many occasions he referred to his drinking escapades and even offered to have us join him for drinks. The stories were weak and the tour was excruciatingly annoying. Several guests on tour with us stopped paying attention and started making plans for the rest of the day and talking right over top of his stories. I think Justin should stick with painting.

Insanely good tour chocked full with delicious facts about the seediest and most delightful US city. If you are lucky enough to have Dillon as your tour guide, you will be in for gold standard of walking tours - the walking tour to which to compare all future walking tours. Dillon is a walking Wikipedia of facts, coupled with a deliciously naughty way to convey the information - i.e., a blast. You learn what made New Orleans what it is today, making relevant 300+ years of history, with an erudite and theatrical delivery, with plenty of "R" rated references to salacious events. But there is more. You get a compassionate understanding of the Creole and Cajun people who founded this city and the past and current racial interplays. All in one tour (that went 20 min over as a bonus). I have easily taken over 50 walking tours of various types. Dillon is in my top three of best guides ever. His enthusiasm, knowledge, delivery, compassion and passion is unequaled. Did you ever have one of those professors in college that knocked your socks off with one of their grand lectures - this is it. Wow!

I will say this tour is light on the saints and heavy on the sinners. Bobby was our tour guide and an absolute riot. Not only did I feel like I got an extensive history of New Orleans condensed into two hours, Bobby was an excellent and hilarious story teller. Our group had lots of questions and Bobby got even more excited to answer our questions in depth. It was a fun group and fun tour to be on.

My husband and I had so much fun with our French Quarter Phantom guides. We actually took 4 tours and each were well worth it. The walking tours are easy strolls through key areas of the city that anyone would enjoy.
Erin was our guide for the Sinners and Saints and the Garden District tours. She had the perfect amount of theatrics while sharing the city's unique history through storytelling. Her extensive knowledge and native love for New Orleans comes through in her tours. She even gave us a list of places to eat by category as recommendations from a local.
The tours truly made our first visit to New Orleans special. We wouldn't have experienced even half of the locations or appreciated them had we not taken the tours.
