Overview
Tour New Orleans’ top sights and cruise down the Mississippi on a historic steamboat with this "Super Saver" combo. Explore the famed French Quarter and beyond to see areas, like Audubon Park and the mansions of the Garden District, that many visitors miss. Then venture outside city limits onboard an authentic riverboat while live jazz or calliope music (seasonal) and an optional Creole meal add to the ambiance. The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel will be taking her place. You’ll get the same authentic riverboat experience.

Highlights
  • See the best of New Orleans and save money on a combo tour
  • Explore the French Quarter, Garden District, and City Park on a bus tour
  • Get outside the city on a Mississippi River steamboat cruise
  • Try Creole favorites with an optional, great-value buffet onboard
What to Expect
Begin your coach tour of New Orleans in the French Quarter, where you'll see French and Spanish heritage buildings right next to voodoo shops, Creole courtyards, and blues clubs. Continue along the route of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar to admire the stately mansions and leafy avenues of the Garden District, City Park, and other charming areas that many tourists never see. Head to the banks of the mighty Mississippi to board a historic riverboat. The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel will be taking her place. You'll get the same authentic riverboat experience as you cruise past the shoreline and the battlefield where pirate Jean Lafitte helped defeat the British army. Step into the pilot house to see the inner workings of the paddlewheel, and listen to live jazz (seasonal) or the whistling tunes of the steam-powered calliope. For an additional fee, enjoy a delicious Louisiana-style buffet of Creole favorites right onboard the ship.

Our guide Susan made it great! With a History degree, as well as being born and raised in NO, she was very informative, and FUNNY! Our driver, Vanessa, was also top notch. Great tour.

Booked on TA, but there was no place to order the buffet lunch on the cruise. Bought the lunch separately the day before the cruise and it cost an extra $4 (for a total of $17 per). The morning City was OK but rather hurried since three people were more than 15 minutes late and
