The tour was very informative about tragic stories of New orleans tied into lots of interesting history. Katie d. our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was very honest about what information shows up in reputable sources and what is just rumor/folklore. The stories were interesting and made me want to go look up articles about said events. Overall, good tour. This was not a scheduled bar crawl but there were a few opportunities to grab a drink. My recommendation is to grab a drink to walk with on the tour beforehand.

Walking to see different NOLA neighborhoods was neat but our tour guide was boring and kept telling us 'untrue' stories -- that got old. Many in the group left mid tour. I read that Katie was a great tour guide and we should have gone with her.
The historical aspects were interesting. Our teen liked the evening so that's a plus!
The end of the tour was far from the start of the tour :(

What a tremendous tour, loaded with history! Our guide Robi knew his stuff and was an excellent storyteller. He gave us the history and then mixed in the rumors. He explained the different types of voodoo, methods of burials and what a big part yellow fever played in New Orleans history. Robi knew how to keep the groups attention and would recommend you request him as your guide.

Four people left the tour within the first half hour. We left with an hour left. Elizabeth was boring and monotone. It was awful. Total waste of money. We were so disappointed

I thought this would be a fun and interesting tour but it was anything but. The tour guide started by asking who was believers and non believers then said she wasn’t but wasn’t a believer but was going to tell us stories anyways. The stories were long and delivered in a factual way making it difficult to maintain interest during a never ending rambling of inconsequential details. I thought in 2 hours we would actually see a fair amount of the French Quarter but only went a few blocks away and spent most of the time in parking lots and garages. After 1 hour we left, was enough for us. Don’t recommend.
