This was truly a trip of a lifetime and I couldn’t have asked for a better company to do it with. Jackson was prompt with his replies to us when we were discussing booking. From airport pickup to trekking Kilimanjaro and cruising through the safari, that service continued. Jackson and his crew at Kilimanjaro Footprints were welcoming and engaged. They checked our gear the day before our six-day hiking package to ensure our safety and comfort in the mountain. Questions were encouraged on the trek up Kilimanjaro and we learned a lot about the mountain, the flora and the fauna. The porters were friendly and efficient, having our campsites setup by the time we arrived, making it easy for us to enjoy the beauty around us. Safety was a focus along the route with simple reminders about watching footing, being aware of our surroundings, and frequent check-ins about how we were feeling. This support helped us achieve our goal of reaching the summit thank you, Jackson, Godwin and the entire crew at Kili Footprints!

I did a 6 day trek up Kilimanjaro with Jackson (Kili Footprints) and his team and it was an amazing experience! The guides were personable, knowledgeable, fun, accommodating, but most importantly, they made me feel safe and in good hands. The rest of the support crew were awesome as well, and we couldn't have done it without them! The food was delicious, so good that at times you forget you are trekking a mountain, and our camp setup was comfortable and safe. You can tell that Jackson puts a lot of thought and care into the trips that he plans and it is reflected in the level of service he provides. I followed this trek with a 4 day safari, and again, he did not disappoint. From the accommodations, to our safari tour guide, everything was meticulously planned and executed. We enjoyed visiting 3 different parks, and were so excited to see "the big five". Thank you, Jackson, for this trip of a lifetime, you truly exceeded my expectations and I will be forever grateful.

Actually this trip to the waterfall was part of a package trip. The coffee plantation was on the way to the waterfall. 2 days later I was asked for $80.00 to cover the coffee plantation visit, as was another in person in the group. This was a surprise to both of us. Now t I see in the posting that the waterfall and coffee plantation visit total is $70. I feel cheated for not being told upfront of the extra change now by seeing the add for both $70 Hmmm It was a wonderful experience but I do feel taken advantage of.

Jackson is the most kind person in the world. He drove car safely and our flight had been delayed a few hours, he waited for us with patience. I've been working in customer service for 10 years, so I know the which face is fake or true. Jackson is real nice man with true service mind. We trusted and liked him, so we asked for drving return trip as well. Thank you very much for everything. You made us the best experience in Tanzania.

Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Tour We had an amazing hike with Jackson from Kili Footprints, he is charismatic and genuine and a powerful communicator, he has In-depth knowledge and a whole lot of passion. A tour to Materuni Village and Waterfalls with Jackson is a great way to spend a day away from the bustle of town life. This very impressive Waterfall is one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal-clear glacier water. Materuni village is at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is worth the trip; the scenic view of Moshi Town and Mount Kilimanjaro is astonishing. This green village with fresh air from green vegetations welcomes visitors to explore the beauty of the land and the cultural heritage of the Chagga people. The tour starts with a walk to Materuni Waterfall. It is an opportunity to see how local fruit like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas grow, as well as learn some of the local history, traditions, village economy, agricultural and cultural life. The tour will continue with a visit to the local village lying in the coffee plantations. The villagers will demonstrate the process of coffee farming and guide you through the preparation of coffee from a bean to a cup. Sing and dance along with the Chaga people as they are grinding, roasting and boiling the beans.

Safe trek, in good hands of an experienced guide. And fed by a very good cook ! Everything is done to maximize the chances to summit (which takes a lot).

Jackson was very friendly and accomodating. Our flight was delayed hours and he had been at the airport since 9:30pm when our flight was supposed to arrive and waited until 2:30am to pick us up and drive us to Moshi. A lot of other companies would have bailed without payment and waiting that long but he was incredibly patient and stayed in touch the whole time. When we arrived at our hotel around 3am it was all locked up and the night watchman couldn’t hear us beeping the horn so he called the owners of the hotel. Such a pleasant experience, he went to the ends of the earth for us! Again our transfer back to the airport after our climb was smooth and comfortable. Thanks Jackson!

Great experience! Once in a life time. I did the 6 days Marangu rout. All the Kilifootpint cru was amazing, very very professional and always available to help. When we were coming back from the peak they (the porters) came to give us some juice before arriving to the base camp. So they climbed some meters just to come and give us juice to help us continue our descent. When arriving to the hut they cleaned our shoes full of dust and gave us pop corns. A very luxury trip in this sense. They had some details with ud like bringing a lap to eat dinner with some light since in the huts there was not electricity. I am very satisfy with theri service 100% advice

This was indeed a life changing experience. Jackson and his team were the best! My flight larrived at 1 am and Jackson was waiting patiently for me at the airport and made sure I checked in before leaving. The actual climb experience was great from daily health checks, knowledgeable guides who made sure we were hydrated and well fed for climb. I can say more and more but I 100% recommend Kili footprints as your host when doing Mount Kilimanjaro climb. Thank you Kili footprints
