    Great Haunt Tour for Halloween!
This tour was fantastic. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He clearly has researched Winston-Salem and the tour included as much history as haunts which we love. It was a beautiful fall night for a night time walk through the West End. We dined in the West End close by so we could walk to the tour. We have also been on the Charlotte tour which was equally enjoyable.

    Amazing time! Highly recommend
Topher gave us an excellent tour. It filled me with so many different emotions that it made me think more about Salem’s rich history. I loved that he gave us historical context before jumping into the ghost stories. Definitely a fun event to do with a group of friends!

Great story telling and historical tales of Winston-Salem
The tour was an excellent mix of area history and paranormal story telling. Our guide (Kim) was a Believer who wove her tales of ghosts and lore so expertly we ended the night looking over our shoulders for spirits that might have decided to follow us home through the streets is Winston-Salem. We highly recommend this 90 minute experience!

    Pull the YES card....
Great tour and fascinating never before heard stories and history of the area. Our guide was great and an absolutely riveting story teller. She did an awesome job of making us fell like it was 1892 again. The history alone makes for great tales and you are left with the feeling of the spirits whose unfinished business keeps them close to home. Highly recommended.

    Fantastic Experience!
Great experience! It was fascinating to learn so much history in a short amount of time. The tour guides were knowledgeable and fantastic storytellers. Went home with a list of books and further research topics. Both my husband and I recommend it- go you will have fun and learn a thing or two!

Topher spoke in depth with his wealth of knowledge on the important impacts that directly affected the life and creation of Winston-Salem. He touched upon the main points and families as to who? The why? The where? And, the how? The what, though? Was kind of shocking. I think everyone who attended last night spent more time with their jaws dropped then, not due to the unexpected tidbits thrown in by Topher that shows how much time he truly spent into learning the grandeur History and including his own personal experiences while living and touring among those who once lived here in Winston -Salem.

    One of the best
This is not your average ghost tour. The emphasis on the actual history of the area and people was the focus. The connections to reports of sightings and paranormal phenomena added to the stories told, but left participants to make up their own minds and come to their own conclusions. Topher, a 25 year resident of Winston-Salem, expertly led the group through the West End neighborhood, pointing out architecture, original homes and historic points of interest. I’ve done tours in Boston, Salem, Charleston, Savannah, Gettysburg, New Orleans and London, and this one was one of the best! You won’t be disappointed.

    The best experience
My Fiancé and I were in the area to tour a wedding venue and saw this listed. We weren’t too sure about it at first but we are happy we went. Topher was amazing and so informative. We went for the 9:00 pm too and it was cool and extra creepy. If you’re thinking about doing this tour, do it!! The only problem you’ll have is you’ll want the tour to go longer once it’s over.. absolutely do this tour!!

Our guide was Megan, and she was wonderful with my daughters five year old foster child. This was the best ghost tour I have ever been on. And I have been on quite a few

We chose this activity based on the excellent reviews, but we were sorely disappointed. A good haunted tour should offer juicy stories with moments of mystery, suspense, and a prickle on the back of your neck, with just enough historic background to set the stage. However, we found our guide, Rachel, to be incredibly boring. She went on and on with the details of the story, so much that our minds started to wander, and yet it was annoying how often she'd remark that she didn't know much about a building we were visiting. And she certainly doesn't know how to spin a tale: There were no pauses for effect, no use of drama to create the mood, just Rachel yammering on and on. My husband was particularly irritated when she told story after story about buildings which weren’t even on the tour, while we all just stood in one spot for 30 minutes. It felt more like a college lecture than a haunted tour. We were ready to leave long before it was over, but we didn’t want to be rude. I honestly don't know how it has so many five-star reviews; it was a waste of time and money, in my book.

The history and stories were good, but some of the other members really took away from the experience. There were some locals that would interrupt the guide and they would go off track for a few minutes at a time during every stop or story. We weren’t able to make it to all of the stops that we were personally looking forward to because of that. We also had to wait for a late group as well. Unfortunate timing, I’m sure if those things hadn’t happened it would have been great. Not the guides or tours fault, but wish we could have visited all of the spots. Less of a walking tour more of a standing tour

This was just a fun tour and Rachel was an excellent guide. Provided some excellent history of the area and told some great spooky stories. Pace was just right...took an hour and half or so. Street parking was no problem and you basically start and finish in the same area. Walking route is basically flat, with a little incline in the beginning one of our party uses a walker but was able to navigate the walk ok. Great evening of ghostly stories, history and laughter

My daughter is a ghost tour director in Key West so she thought that it would be fun to send us on one near our home as a Christmas present. it was fun. Toghfer was a great tour guide! He was very interesting and it was obvious that he really loves the stories that he tells! It went a little longer than planned, which was nice. Very interesting. I would highly recommend.

My family and I loved the ghost tour in Greensboro, NC. I forgot the tour guide's name but she was knowledgeable, entertaining and made us feel very welcome. I appreciate that even it was just the 3 of us, the tour operator allowed the tour to go on. I believe you need a minimum of 4 people. Sorry I forgot the tour guide's name, but I think it was Olivia. We toured the week after Easter. If we are in NC again, we will do the Winston-Salem tour. Thanks again for the great experience!!!

This was AMAZING! So much history learned. Topher was our tour guide and so knowledgeable is everything he spoke about, had great conversation and we felt very at ease walking around the streets at dark! The walk was easy. Would recommend 100% for anyone coming here!

We spent the walk with Rachel and it was amazing. She gave a little history mixed with a lot of great local ghost stories. The walk was just a few city blocks but took us through a bunch of little nooks and alley's. It was very informative and spooky.

Great ghost tour! Chilling true tales that are backed up with historical resources. It was intriguing to hear about how much downtown has changed over the past couple of centuries.

The tour does a great job of offering stories spanning from the Civil War to the present day. I highly recommend it!
