Itinerary
This hike is a perfect mix of adventure and tranquility away from the crowds.  Explore an old settler graveyard and learn about the tough life of the hardy Scots-Irish who settled these mountains and enjoy the views of a beautiful waterfall located deep in the woods. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the most biodiverse place in the world north of the tropics as you learn about the amazing wildlife that calls the Great Smoky Mountains National Park home. Pause for a snack on a moss covered rock, challenge yourself to a rock hop across a clear mountain stream, and enjoy the fresh, clean mountain air on this adventure.

Rating: This 4-hour walk is moderate with a couple of difficult spots.
