- shelleybD153UG0 contributionsAntelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend - JUST WOW!!!!!!Awesome! See Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend in a small group on the reservation! Moses, our guide, was fantastic! We spent 2 hours in the canyon exploring and then drove to Horseshoe Bend! Easy ride and beautiful scenery with only 12 people!!!Written September 17, 2024
- Freeze2travelers0 contributionsBest tour but book direct with the company to save $$We had an amazing trip to Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend! Our tour guide, Bob, was the BEST! He was knowledgeable about the area and made the trip even more spectacular by playing his flute in the canyon. The sound of the flute combined with the beauty of the canyon was mesmerizing. My only suggestion would be to save yourself about $100 and book directly with the company!Written September 13, 2024
- michellefK3998OY0 contributionsIncredible TourWe had a blast touring the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend! Our guide was knowledgeable, hilarious and all around a good guy. He told us about the best places to take pictures in both locations and kindly offered to take pictures of us at the sights. Both locations were unreal. You must see them. I highly recommend using this family run touring company!Written September 12, 2024
- 537ianp5370 contributionsMagnificent country, underwhelming guide, crazy dangerous driver. The Canyon was incredible and Horseshoe Bend amazing. However, our guide and driver was very poor. He drove on sand roads at dangerous speeds which frightened some of the people on the truck and he had very little to say at our stops regarding flora, fauna, geology and history. There were times when we felt like he was tolerating us on his tribal lands. I certainly didn’t feel at all welcomed. A big contrast to other tours we had taken or the Grand Canyon.Written September 10, 2024
- barbcuster0 contributionsA trip to rememberThe overall trip was excellent. Bob was the perfect guide, blending his personal knowledge of the area with a historical perspective of the surrounding land. My wife and I could not have asked for a more perfect dayWritten September 9, 2024
- B6488UKstevens0 contributionsOur Favorite TourOne of the very best things that we did on our journey through the Southwestern Natl. Parks. Beautiful sights - without the crowds. The colors and shapes in the slot canyon are amazing. Very professional, family owned and operated (Navajo Tribe), tour. We would do it again and recommend this tour to all (very easy walk through the canyon and to Horseshoe Bend).Written September 6, 2024
- rcbgpo0 contributionsA ProOur tour guide was a total professional. She is from the Navajo Nation and has a keen knowledge of the history, geology, plants, and ecology. She answers questions well and takes the time to take pictures, advises you how to maximize your photo settings, and puts your safety as a priority. The tour covers a slot canyon and Horseshoe Bend from the Navajo side. This one is far beyond the normal tour.Written August 31, 2024
- Tony C0 contributionsAn amazing vista - very pleasant temperatures in JanuaryAn amazing part of the planet. A vast expanse of alien like landscape. Well worth a visit. Great temperatures in January, although a Summer experience would be something. There’s a great ice-cream parlour in Furness Creek.Written August 15, 2024
- aprva0 contributionsSecret Slot Canyon and Private Land Viewing AreasThis trip takes you to a slot canyon on Navajo land so you don't have to fight crowds through small land forms, allowing you to spend time exploring. The trip guide showed us how to take amazing photos of the canyon and shared some stories of the families who have lived in the area for many generations. The trip continued to a private overlook with spectacular views of Horseshoe Bend but without pushing through lines of tourist at the public viewing spot a bit further along the highway. The trip was so much more than expected!Written August 13, 2024
- MAR9110 contributionsBeautiful Page AZFirst of all, Gerri was a wonderful tour guide. Gerri is very informative, and personable. She took us onto private land to a slot canyon and to Horseshow Bend. We were on the tour with a group of 6, and there were no other visitors in sight. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. No water is provided so make sure to take plenty with you.Written July 1, 2024
- Rhea R0 contributionsWalk in BeautyThis was an amazing experience. A small group of 10 went on an adventure with our guide Britt. We were honored with visiting their family properties to witness first hand the amazing beauty of both the Secret Canyon and Horshoe Bend. What makes the trip even better was Britt sharing his personal memories of growing up on his families land. Highly recommend this experience!!!Written June 19, 2024

- Traveler1028970 contributionsWorth the moneyThis tour takes you on private Navajo land for a fun ride, then lengthy stop at a slot canyon. Note - this is not Antelope Canyon. However, you are visiting with a group of 12 or fewer. The visit to Horseshoe Bend is also on private land, away from the crowds at the public viewing area. Our guide, Bob, was great! Definitely a fantastic experience!Written June 13, 2024
- O5807OBrobertl0 contributionsAwesome experience, small groups, no crowds make for a great time at this slot Canyon! The tour was great. A very hot day in June, 101 degrees. Ride to canyon and Bend was fun and breeze kept it cool. Tours are staggered so when 1 group leaves the next is just showing up. Groups are no larger than 12 people, ours was 6. Our guide was awesome took time to explain pertinent features and gave us plenty of time to photograph what we wanted. Definitely do this tour rather than the upper and lower canyon unless you like crowds.Written June 12, 2024

We went to Antelope canyon on my birthday trip since it was my dream to go there. The place itself is definitely worth visiting. Our experience was smudged a bit by our guide, an Indian woman ( don’t remember her name). She told us in the beginning she will take our pictures to save time and move faster in the canyon as there was another group behind us. So, there was not a single decent picture taken by her. She cut legs, was not even looking at the screen while photographing, was not waiting when we get into a pose and lots of pictures were blurry and I had to delete all of them. When I nicely asked her not to cut legs, she was kinda offended and answered that no one was telling her that before and people preferred close ups and all that. I told her I prefer my legs in the picture. She said ok, and continued doing what she was doing and needless to say, I deleted all the pictures. At the same time she was walking around bragging about her photography skills and that they even invited her to work as a photographer in Hawaii. What a bs. When we tried to take our own pictures, she was rushing us, telling there was a group behind. At the end of the trip I handed her tips, and she took the money saying ok) you kinda expect to hear thank you) I mean, for the money you pay for this tour (about $300 for 2 people) you expect nicer attitude and customer service as well as great pictures for your long lasting memories.

Thanks for your feedback. In peak seaon the guide need to make sure ervey group would go through the canyon smoothly in a timely manner as well. Anyway, there is still room to improve the service. We will forward your feedbacks to the guide team to let them know how customers feel so that they can optimize the procedure.

The guide and actual experience were 5 stars. Giving only 3 stars because I paid $195 per person (for a party of 5) through trip advisor. When I arrived, the facility (Tse Bighanilini) was charging $120 per person for the same tour. We had the 11:15 am time slot (midday supposed to offer the best photo op). I asked them if this time slot sells out frequently and they said only on major holidays (we were there on a Thursday). Do your due diligence and book directly through Tse Bighanilini.

The canyon was amazing to see. The tour is only an hour long and lead by a knowledgeable tour guide. We found the tour company to be well organized. Our frustration was that there are a number of tours going on at the same time so hearing the guide was often difficult. there is not much time allowed to stop and look around because another group is behind you.
My only other complaint is that we paid 130.00 per person in advance but the price for walkups was only 80.00.

Our family loved our tour with Navajo Tours of Upper Antelope Canyon. It was well worth the money! Our tour guide, Craig, was very knowledgeable and was the best photographer! He stopped at every hidden gem and helped us get quality photos even where the light was sparse. November tours are enjoyable, but if you want a ton of light rays coming through check them out in the summer. Only a little bit of stairs to get back to the tour truck after you've walked the upper canyon.

We really enjoyed our visit. Our guide was great. Showing us how to take great pics. So on the reservation it said no bags of any sort but when we got there, at Navajo Tour, it said on the sign 1 bag or backpack per reservation. Wish I could have bought my bag for water. Use the restroom before you get there! There is a porty potty but I hate those. So we paid $179/person even for young children. If you can go there on site to get ticket it is $100 cash at Navajo Tour. Go there 45 mins before. Wish I knew this! Also make sure you have CASH for the $5 fee/person!!! Else they will send you to a store for ATM. The description on the this tour states max of 10 per group. Not true!! They jam 14 ppl in a group!! I get it is all about a profit but come on. And it was a bit rush with all the 14 ppl to finish the tour. Hope this helps!!!

Thanks for your feedback. The Upper Antelope Canyon is very popular and tickets get sold out quickly
several days before the tour date. We pre-arranged the tickets and additional cost applied. On-site
tickets are not guaranteed during peak season. The cash requirement for check in service fee is stated clearly on page in "What's Included" area as well as the reminder we sent to every booking. The 10 guest booking limit is the limit we set for booking, not means that the tour will be 1 little group of 10 guests.

We booked a 3pm tour online and were put on a 7am tour, which was before we would arrive in the area. We tried to phone and email, to no avail. None of the operators in Page were aware of this company. We had to forfeit the money spent and pay a different company for an equivalent tour - which was fantastic! I resent the fact that you cannot communicate with the operators. I must add that Trip Advisor staff could not have been more helpful on the phone and by giving us a link to attempt to contact the provider. Problem is the company's didn't respond to my multiple messages on phone or email.

For all of our bookings we send reminders by text and email to every customer about their tour time. Thanks.

Great, informative experience. We learned so much and Toby, the guide happily answered our questions. Luckily we brought mask for the truck ride to the canyon. The group size allowed everyone to hear the tour and stay together for the ~20 minute walk. We plan to come back during the 11am tour as that time has the best lighting which captures the inside of the canyon.

The tour is well run & our guide, Ty, was knowledgeable & entertaining. He took his time to explain the history, surroundings & special features of this breathtaking slot canyon & skillfully took each group’s pictures multiple times, ensuring great pics for everyone’s memories. It was a memorable experience.

We paid $159 per ticket for less than a one hour experience in addition to a $15 Navajo fee. We were escorted into the canyon by our guide to take pictures but it was too windy with sand gusts to barely open our eyes. You can get the tour on other sites for a much cheaper price. Many sites offer an hour and a half for $93 and no additional fees.

This is an incredible place to see! It was beautiful, the water and wind has sculpted faces of people and animals. It was too short. I understand that there are many people who want to see this amazing canyon, the guide had to keep us moving. I would have liked to spend more time looking at and enjoying the canyon. I do have incredible photos that I took as well as the guide, Makala, took some on my iPhone. She has the experience to know what and where to take pictures

What would be the ideal zoom lens to use on a DX Nikon camera? Or is the versatility of an iPhone using Raw Max better?
Written January 2, 2024
Honestly I have no idea. The guide was very helpful in setting up our iPhone to get the most out of the lighting and canyons.

We secured our tickets through you folks, but were required to pay additional fee $10.00 when we arrived. I think this should be told to the people booking with you people. Loved the tour, but it is expensive!
Written September 25, 2023
I agree. I did see the additional $5 per person listed on the information sheet, which was bogus after paying over $150 per person for the tour. Plus we may have paid to park. Very costly but still worth the experience.

What is the lighting like in the canyon in October? Is it better in July than October or is visibility pretty much the same throughout the year?
Written September 24, 2023
I can only make it to the 3pm time slot. We will be there in March. Is it still worth going that late in the day?
Written September 14, 2023
Yes, if that’s the only place you’ll go. But, if you’re going to do a side trip to Horseshoe Bend, you’re going to run out of daylight. A walk from the parking lot to the bend itself is quite long 1.5 miles one way.
Written September 15, 2023
The website states "No bags" can be brought on the tour. Please clarify. Does this mean I can't bring a daypack with water and a jacket?
Written May 12, 2023
Of it snows what is the cancellation policy?
Written February 18, 2023
The policy is all sales final. If the canyon has been closed due to weather, there will be a refund
Written April 28, 2023
Is this tour involve going up & down ladders? I’m looking for the tour that you simply walk in & out.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Written July 17, 2022
Upon completing the walk through the canyon, the tour walks up metal ramps and stairs up over the top of the canyon, back to the entrance where the tour started and the trucks are parked. This is the most ‘intense’ part of the tour; if it weren’t for the ramps and stairs it would definitely be a climb, but it’s actually super accessible so no worries!
