Awesome trip! The river was a little low so the rapids weren't crazy, but it was fun and a beautiful trip down the river. The guides were fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable. One thing to note if you book through Trip Advisor: the time it lists is the departure time! I assumed it was the meeting time like many of the other TripAdvisor experiences and I almost got left behind.

We had a wonderful time rafting down the flathead river. Tanner was great. Would definitely recommend this if you’re in the glacier area. Was fun and beautiful 😊

What a great trip! We had a blast!!! Jackie, our guide, did an amazing job guiding us through the rapids and was a wealth of information about the river and the history of the area. The staff was professional and fun.

Great time! Safe yet exhilarating. Guides (Tanner) knowledgeable and experienced .the employees worked together to make certain things ran smoothly. Guides had a nice sense of humor.

This was a fun adventure, and I would do it again. Our guide was phenomenal; she kept us engaged with crucial historical information about the area and the landscape. Though I have done categories IV and V water rafting, I think this course is between II and III and is suitable for all ages and physical tolerance levels

We had a great time navigating the rapids (moderate level) in late August. The guides did a nice job of keeping us both safe, and having fun. Nice job.

Booking, price, and ease of making our trip reservation was a breeze. When we got to the destination it was very well put together. It had all we ended to get ready. Our rafting guide was Mika and she was super friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and her jokes were the best. We loved the trip and the company went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

The tour guides were very friendly and did an excellent job guiding us through the rapids. It was our first time rafting and we enjoyed it immensely. Great opportunity to see animals. We saw two deer right when we started down the river and also a bald eagle. Luke was our tour guide and he made it an amazing experience!

Absolutely amazing time!!! Cash was our guide and has an amazing story to tell! Ask him about setting a record! Friendly souls from beginning to the end! Peaceful float to exciting rapids! Highly recommend

It was a wonderful experience! The guides, Tanner and Ali, were great! We were on the water almost 3 hours, the water level was low, but that can’t be controlled, but they made it great.

Our family had so much fun with our rafting guide, Addie! All were high quality guides on a beautiful river. We saw some wildlife, rode some rapids, got wet and had a blast...highly recommend The Great Northern!

We had a really fun day rafting the Flathead River with an excellent guide named Tanner. He was knowledgeable, friendly, safety conscious, and told some pretty decent dad jokes despite his young age :) Highly recommend :)

We enjoyed our Whitewater Rafting Adventure. The views and trip were amazing! Our tour guide Caroline was very informative and a lot of fun! She made our trip unforgettable. We also made new friends along the way. If you are able to request a guide we highly suggest Caroline!

Weather was bad. Cold and rainy, but the river guide's disposition was very sunny! Her name was Elisabeth and the trip we took was her last guided trip of the summer. She headed back to college the following day. She had very good knowledge of the river, because this was her third year guiding with this river outfitter. She knew a great deal about the history of the river and pointed out the places most impacted by a flood that happened in the mid 1960s. The raft had 6 paddlers plus the guide and I think was about 14 feet long. The quality of the craft was really good, because one of the other rafts became stuck on a rock and it took 3 other rafts purposely running into it to free the stuck raft. The classification of the rapids we went through in early August was 2 and 3. The guide mentioned one was class 4, but I never felt in danger on this trip. We did get wet and it felt cold due to the weather conditions, but we were able to get warm quickly once back at our vehicle. All the guides this day were female and had a great attitude, which made the trip a lot of fun. All in all, I recommend this rafting company for novice rafters like myself.
